This is very normal in my country sir. They are everywhere. No only stray dogs but also dogs that the owners them run freely on streets causing problems with vehicles and pedestrians. Ive seen other videos that render this flashlight "unusable" due to the lack of a side switch and "tacky UI" just got it and i have to say that the 3 mode program is all i need and look for in a flashlight. I like it a lot.

Hi Weerapat, Already subscribed, thanks. 🙏 I received my Sofirn SC28 recently. There was only one tint option available - the XHP50B with the 5700-6000K emitter. I did not know that there are two production batches - the earlier batch with 3 groups like yours and the current one with only 2 groups (Normal & Tactical). The biggest issue here is that with the latest batch, you have to unscrew the flashlight head and locate a tiny micro switch on the PCB. You also need to use something like a toothpick (preferably non-metal) and slide the switch towards the right to change to the Tactical group (Med->Strobe->Turbo). People who won't ever need strobe or the tactical mode would be OK with the new SC28. However, it's going to be very frustrating having to take the head off and physically flick the switch back to the Normal group. There is also the implied accelerated wear-and-tear if the user has to change modes a few times every day. If you have to change modes in the dark, you also need another flashlight to see where that switch is!😞 I got mine for only US$20 on Lazada from the Sofirn direct store. It is rather cheap for a 21700 body Sofirn model. Even the SP31V3 that uses the 18650 battery is sold at a higher price! My question to you is: Would you keep this SC28 from the current batch or would you return it for a refund? 😐🔦

I really appreciate the efforts of Sofirn. It's good to have a variety of lights to pick but next Sofirn I may get will definitely be SC33. The sc28 modes are weird. Momentary Turbo on half press I get. What I don't like is half press again for strobe. The simple Sofirn UI is enough for me. Hold for moonlight, hold for low-med-high, double click for Turbo, 3 clicks for Strobe and 4 clicks for lock/unlock.
The Rave Music beat with the dogs etc at the beginning is pretty good. I just got this light yesterday and first impression I hated the spongy tail switch and the UI. After one day I now see how best I can use this light and the biggest problem I found was the timing of the half press as to whether it advances the light level or not so I generally use the full click which seems to be the most certain way of advancing through the power levels. With the half press I can get lost and not know which level, high/low/med whatever I am on but with full presses I don't get lost as easily or at all. If the light flashes when I want to change light level then I switch off and use the half press to advance which avoids an unwanted mode change. I think your idea of adding memory to the Tactical mode is a sound suggestion Why did they leave it out in only that mode? Anyhow I now feel I can use the light how I would like and since it is a nice size and puts out a broader beam with more power than my SC32 and is not as bulky as my SC33, I like it enough that while it is still on sale offer I couldn't resist buying another. So as often happens, I have big reservations initially about something and then I come around some or in this case quite a lot. though the offer price ATM did help swing it. Very good value for a compact light with great build (ok the tail switch feel/operation is still a question mark but I seem to be getting used to it and I don't like the wait for flash mode change system but it's not totally irritating and with a little patience can be ignored), has a good large battery and run times and relatively high output and good flood for use indoors and out, a sort of good general allrounder beam with very decent power.

I prefer the 28 to 33, the 33 is obviously brighter but dont like the over spil line, the 28 has a great graded beam pattern prob due to the nice tir lense! The price just wow.

Sc32 with 6500k Is very impressive and bright for how compact it is. But for me. If I can design any ui. I would press and hold for moonlight, and half press to cycle low, medium, high. From off, momentary or full click tail switch will be turbo. That would be thee best I think for edc and "tactical"... or shooting/light lol
The SC33 is just a beast! The SC28's size is what I wish the SC33's size was. Still, the SC28 has a nice floody beam and the UI is nice. Interesting though that the SC33's spill seems even wider. Thanks for the vid!
I got my TS22 with the XHP70.3 about a month ago and it is very similar to the Sofirn SC33 with its beam. Very floody with a large hot spot that blends nicely into the spill. It's smaller than the SC33 and runs a bit hotter but both sustain 1000+ lumens for a very long time. I also have the TS22 with the XHP70.2 5000K and it to is excellent. It has a beautiful tint and is a pure floody light and is probably my favorite out of four--the TS22 XHP70.3 6000K, Sofirn SC33 both 5000K and 6000K. I prefer side switch lights though.

@WeerapatKiatdumrong I see the SC28 has "mode 2" which is "Turbo" then "Strobe" then "medium". Can you name any flash lights that allow direct to strobe? I believe Klarus E2 could do direct to strobe and this is now replaced by Klarus E3, both have two control buttons. Can you name any other direct to strobe flash lights?
Seems a few of the Klarus flash lights have dual buttons which allow direct access to the strobe feature but would be interested to hear of any other flash light options for this.
I read some negative reviews on Klarus E2 and E3 flash lights on Amazon, customers said that after some time, it seems some burned adhesive appears on the LED and inside the reflector / lense, spoiling the light output.

However, it is strange enough that it shines like a headlamp in a row. However, as EDC and tactical it is an interesting proposition. And visually similar to the SC33 - cool.

I believe Klarus E2 could do direct to strobe and this is now replaced by Klarus E3, both have two control buttons. Can you name any other direct to strobe flash lights?
Seems a few of the Klarus flash lights have dual buttons which allow direct access to the strobe feature but would be interested to hear of any other flash light options for this.
I read some negative reviews on Klarus E2 and E3 flash lights on Amazon, customers said that after some time, it seems some burned adhesive appears on the LED and inside the reflector / lense, spoiling the light output.
I use E2 sir. E2 for me is good and tough. I dropped it many times. It's possible to burn the led or lens because of heat in turbo mode. But I don't use turbo often. You can check Fenix or othe Klarus model for direct strobe sir. Thanks for watching and your support sir 😊. Please subscribe 🙏.

Sir, from this beamshots, I saw the SC28 to have a good forward beam (not too wide) ideal for outdoor walking and even bicycling.
Does the SC28 have memory on turbo or high?

The SC33 has a different light throw. There is no distinct hot spot in this model. This light seems to flood heavily like headlamps.
@@weerapatkiatdumrongTactical flashlights usually have a more focused light, they do not shine so wide. Compared to the SC33, this is clearly visible. However, it is strange enough that it shines like a headlamp in a row. However, as EDC and tactical it is an interesting proposition. And visually similar to the SC33 - cool.
I dont like the UI on this one, I like the C8L UI more... I hope Sofirn will sell SC28 with C8L ui.
