    I got myself the Rise 4 Metal Buttons and it’s seriously quality! I have medium size hands and this is perfect! The placement of the back buttons is very good! I use it all the time with Bloodborne and as frantic and quick that game is the Rise 4 gives me a crazy level of control! No need to spend the ridiculous amounts some are asking for back buttons.

    I've modified 3 PS5 controllers now, it's an easy kit to install and adding the digital triggers for a FPS like COD makes it feel so much better. Also, I added a some vinyl decals on the front and they're cheap and make the controller look so much better.

    I have been using extremerate for years and add the 4 button kits first thing I personally like the quality if the real metal button rise 4 but game play u can't beat the standard rise 4 the back buttons are so much easier to press and extremely smooth

    I’ve been looking at getting this kit and I’ve just come across this video and wanted check something
    Stick drift is inevitable with PS controllers, which is an easy fix by simply opening up the controller like you dot to fit the kit and cleaning the stick modules however, I see that adhesive part sticks to the battery has the connection that feeds through the back case and connects on the map module for the kit. If that part is disconnected from the map module, do you need to do the remap procedure again or would it be any problem at all?

      The remapping isn't difficult at all. I do intend to open up a controller I modded a while back that started acting up with drifting. The older models 1 and 2 are a pain to work on. The newest one, 3, is such a breeze.

      @@pest174 Thank you, yes it’s actually very easy. I was new to this then and after having a little play around, it’s super easy
      I’m familiar with motherboards and how they work and after installing 4 of these kits, it became obvious that other companies like Scuf and other pro controller companies are actually robbing people. To install paddles it’s all done the same way and they Scuf charges £300 for their controllers

      @@famezy9103 💯 that's why I rather do it myself.

      @@famezy9103 So I took apart the 01 BDM controller, working backwards, and it was no where as difficult as I had anticipated. The adhesive on the battery came off and stuck back on easily. I took the potentiometers apart to clean out any dust and applied dielectric grease. Controller works great, and the drift stopped. Oh, and my remapped binding were the same.

      @famezy9103 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@pest174 Yeah I’ve done 4 controllers now and the older BDM 010 and 020 are ok with taken apart the controller and cleaning the stick modules. It’s the newer BDM 030 that’s the problem as you have to do soldering for the kit

    do i need to put the 2 ribbon cables on the sides of the battery if i only want circle remapped? can i just do the main ribbon cable?

    I have the dual sense edge already, is it worth getting this cos of the "four" back button? I play warzone and I kinda find it daunting to plate up/swap weapons when I'm in the middle of a gunfight ...

    correct me if i am wrong, but i thought that if you plan on remapping the R3 or L3 buttons to the backpaddles, there's some soldering required. Is this still true?

      Got it. Damn I really wanna pickup with remap. Have since they made the 1st ones 2 years ago. They feel so much more solid than the dualsense edge and I also prefer 4 paddles instead of just 2. I dont have a soldering kit though and i know I'll wanna remap the L3/R3 buttons. Have you tried either of the Scuf Reflexes?@@HausOfG

      @@JCsSmugFace bro jus get the remap kit and when U need to do the soldering part jus got to a phone repair store ask if one of them can do it for u and just pay them 10 buks or something for their time, you'd have to show whoever it is a video of the part being soldered on from TH-cam, but it would take no more the 5 minutes of there time, it's really easy man

    • @lokylock2287
      @lokylock2287 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JCsSmugFacethe dual sense edge is trash, it's the first PlayStation pro controller so maybe there 5th or 6th version of the controller will be decent, you can buy the extremerate controller already put together by another company called hex gaming, they do a solid job for anyone looking to skip the hassle of putting the controller together there self so you can jus buy it from them for a price similar to other gaming controllers

    • @JCsSmugFace
      @JCsSmugFace ปีที่แล้ว

      yeah i know hex gaming very well. I've been using their aftermarket decorative controller parts for ps5 cntrollers, and have been considering their remap kit since they first launched the 2 button one like.4 years ago. I took the dualsense edge for a 1 week test drive from walmart and while i like the feel and the ability to swap out joysticks, i absolutely HATE the paddle locations and the button options. Thans flr the tip about going to a cell repair store for the soldering! thats a great idea. Yeah,The DualSense Edge feels good in the hands and sounds good in theory... but it's paddles are limited to only 2 and no matter which buttons you use, it's way too easy to press them. One thing i really do like about it though is that you can easily adjust all super detailed settings from on the ps5. I'm a MacBook Pro user, so none of the Aftermarket controller companies make the software compatible with anything but PC. Just gonna have to suck it and melt some metal baby. thanks loky @@lokylock2287
