While I come here for the Pokemon content, Yu-Gi-Oh was my gateway anime so I appreciate the shout-out to the creator after his passing. I've played the Pokemon video games since Yellow but never got into the cards until last year when I found Leonhart on my sister's recommendation.

I’d say the set that I grew up with is base set as well. But, since I was younger and the gameboy games were also coming out around the same time jungle and fossil were being released it feels like they all meshed into one. Rhymestyle definitely took the cake on this one Leonhart.

I got the privilege to be in that target age range when pokemon first came out. I grew up on base set, fossil, jungle, rocket, all the neos and so on. Some of the products you've shown in previous videos I had as a kid and the blast of nostalgia is intoxicating. Love everything you do and please continue on being a voice for pokemon worldwide and mental health awareness!

Can't get a response from God? Fasting can help increase your perception and prayer can help initiate events. I grew up with the Wizards cards. Fell out of collecting when I got to high school junior year and restarted with collecting when my son got into Pokémon and wanted to start his collection. I have since repurchased several of the cards I had as a kid for his collection.
I was able to regain the KidsWB printed promo cards and the Ancient Mew card for him
Team rocket and the dark pokemon is the first set I remeber getting a bunch of as a kid, then team up got me back into the tcg as an adult! Great vid 👌

I loved watching this and when you guys were talking about how many alt arts you can get in a box at 19:00 the highest ive gotten was 3 and it was with the Brilliant Stars booster box and the cards were the Charizard V, Arceus V, and Honchkrow V

I was in 5th grade the year 2000. Pokemon was the thing at the time. Big time of course. So all the early sets base, Japanese base, gym heroes, fossil were all the cards I really remember. That Blaine's Charizard and Arcanine were my favorites tho. Now I'd probably say the E series sets are my fav. Expedition and the e-reader sets just look so cool and different..thanks for coming to my TedTalk.

Played a ton of Silver as well. That was my favorite Pokémon game. I like fossil as a set, big fan of Aerodactyl and Dragonite.
My favorite is actually one they pulled out of the set to make a box of, and that's the Flareon V. But if I gotta choose it will be the Leafeon V.
I'm definitely a Base Set through Neo Destiny kid. I liked the Gym Leader sets the most. I stopped at that point and got into Yugioh and MTG along with some of the Anime inspired TCGs that came out around those times like Inuyasha and Yu Yu Hakusho.
Base Set was what I grew up with seeing around the school yard but Brilliant Stars gave me an Alt Charizard on my first ever pack back so I'll go with Brilliant Stars.

I'm 1st Gen Pokémon, I'm that old... 😆 🤣 but current fave packs are anything with Galarian or Alolan (especially Ponyta, Rapidash, Vulpix and Ninetales) as well as Pikachu and Eevee & Eeveelutions, also Kanto starters and their evolutions

I opened up a few Brilliant Stars packs that were in a Sylveon and Espeon tin today and 1 of the packs had 6 reverse Holo cards and a Holo Infernape in it… that pack made my day 😃

Im just rly shocked that gyarados didn't get an alt out of this set seems to be common to still include gyarados but not give it any rarity of note. I know alot of people were disappointed pogo avoided the gyarados loading screen as an alt card.
