  • Loading out the last of the concrete and finishing the demo job. Today I took the pad up the concrete block building was on and we finished hauling everything off. It was 42 loads total 27 loads of wood and debris and 15 loads of concrete. The concrete went pretty quick we were just hauling to the road over. Then I just bladed off the site to the basement hole of the house to help fill that area in and clean the site up. I'll be back soon to get rock on the drive coming into the property then probably start the clearing for the new house. Thanks for watching! #EliteEarthworks #Takeuchi #LoadingConcrete

At 68 years of age I do not know why I am enjoying watching you tear down buildings that are my age. However, I definitely do and I find it interesting. Most definitely I find your ability to use your large equipment to be fascinated. You use tractors and grapplers like I use a calculator. Simply amazing and I want to see more. Again I am watching you tear down an old barn from a year ago so my apologies for giving you old kudos. I'm sure you deserve them for what you're doing a year from these videos. I will be watching and subscribing. And liking of course.

That’s exactly how my dad and I did it… dug a shallow trench around the perimeter with a shovel and pickaxe. Nailed up some old 2X4’s for forms… threw down some Visqueen. Loaded the pickup with chat from the lead mine spoils and started mixing. Took all summer to pour… because we had to wait for the next paycheck every time we ran out of cement!
The only thing we did better was to strip out some hog wire fencing and lay it in for reinforcement mesh. As far as I know… the barn is still standing today!
I would tell you where it is… but, using that chat ain’t legal today. The EPA might be monitoring TH-cam to find their next Superfund cleanup site!
I’ll call my buddy at the wrecker company and see if he still has that old forklift he wenched out of a fence row. It used to sit by his shop with the trunk of the tree still wedged behind the mast. I Haven’t been there for a while… but, I’ll check.
I have a video coming out about how we named Sassafras Valley. Hope to have it out this week.
I enjoyed the concrete mayhem! Nice job shooting it… better pack your rubbers and slicker. Looks like we’re gonna get wet!

I would not put a hammer on it either nothing ages equipment faster than banging the guts out of it. Not to mention the sanity of the operator, teeth chattering eyeball rolling hard work doing that shit for a few hours. What a waste of a good flat work area, the house could go anywhere on that 15 acres, just push it back 10 yards use the hard standing and tear it out later if needs be. Good work though, 42 loads of rubble for landfill.

Heyyyyy Brandon!!! You NEED a hammer. About a 15 lb sledge hammer and start swinging away!! No more need to go to the gym!! Hahaha.
You do what you do,,,,,. No problem. I can see a counterweight from a forklift working very well. Like you said, it won’t bust apart. Something tells me the 21t0 is strong enough to just pull that slab apart without dropping anything on it. Since you don’t mind pre-fracturing it,,, look like you did very well!! It’s gone!! Hahaha.
