    What a joy to watch something so wholesome in a world so full of anger, intolerance and overpowering divisions. In a world torn apart, how refreshing it is to go to this remote place with authentic and unspoiled men to keep one company. Bravo all of you.

      Thanks Kevin. It is indeed so. Completely completely unspoiled and simply a magical place.

      ...."in a world so full of anger, intolerance and overpowering divisions." ...It only appears to be that way, and gets stoked that way because of people like you, who, mindlessly judge it that way, in a fatalistic sense, choose to see it that way and bemoan it constantly. Congratulations, problem.

    Pozdrav iz Hrvatske! 🇭🇷
    Želim vam svako dobro, mira i blagostanja. 🤝
    Ivan, 296. pretplatnik kanala. (20.11.2024.)

    Thanks. I really enjoyed watching that. I was on a ship there in 2023 and we managed to go ashore at Stony beach on 11th April after three days of unsuccessful attempts to go ashore at Edinburgh, which was a big disappointment, but at least I can say I have set foot on the island.

    This is such a wonderfull insight into life on TDC, You have an amazingly beautiful island there, far away from the idiocy and stupidity of the modern world. Thank you so much for showing us this trip. There isnt much video footage from your small but gorgeous end of the planet, I have drempt of a stay on Tristan De Cunha (Glad to know how to pronunce it from the way you say it at the beginning of the video) but am such a landlubber i dont think Id ever make it there unless they invent a long range Helicopter or Vertical Landing Air-Liner. I keep going back there on Google Maps, facinated by the location and landscapes. Keep that place special, keep being your brilliant selves and thank you again.

    The shore looks remarkably free from plastic waste, is this true for the whole island and due to the relative lower population of the entire Southern hemisphere, or is it only true for the sides facing away from the prevailing ocean currents?

    • @alexwonner7469
      @alexwonner7469  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Unfortunately, we do find more and more plastic on the beach. Mainly with chinese instructions…and sadly the fishes, the sealife, the sea birds are getting more and more affected.

    I don't want to cast aspersions but there appears to be something wrong with parts of this video. It appears that parts of it may be green-screened (the onboard boat shot at about 2:30 {and a few others}). Maybe the videographer was using outdoor bounce lighting, but the people in the foreground (in the boat) look a bit odd and too well-lit.
