I hadn't used my Brother machine for several years because I had lost various parts when moving house several times. I searched on EBay and Etsy and gradually replaced the missing parts, including my ribber, last summer and I was so happy to find your video instructions for assembly because I was clueless, and the guidebooks were missing. Thanks very much to both of you! It was very clear and even I could follow along!😏
This is a lovely machine. I was fortunate enough to buy a motor for my chunky machine and ribber as I found it a bit heavy for me to knit with following surgery on my arm. I also follow Diana Sullivan’s TH-cam channel on machine knitting. Kindest regards.
Thank you so much for your video!!! Please can you show the distance between ambos carriage? Because when I move the palanca P/H the needles crush between them. Hope my English can you understand me. God bless you!
I think, if I understand your question. The answer is.. you must not have the needles out to move the levers. Or handle as they will Crich and damage. They can only be in working position
I looked the carriages were too much closer. I separated both carriages and the needles not touched the other carriage and I can move the palanca P/H with the needle up and not touched the principal carriage. Thank you again.
Hello Scarlet, I am so disappointed. UPS delivered my KH260 machine totally damaged. The side of the machine bed is totally broken off and cracked. The machine carriage is stuck on the bed, I cannot move it at all, with the needles twisted into the carriage, I fear that under the carriage is damaged by the needles. The area on the back of the punch card apparatus is bent outwards and separated from it's compartment. I have even purchased a spongebar for the machine and cannot use it. I removed the old spongebar in order to see if I can remove the twisted needles, but the needles will not budge and the carriage cannot move, either. Is there any hope for this machine, Scarlet?
I've set my ribber up and I'm puzzled. When the Pitch is set to 3, the needle bed number strips don't match up (knitting bed and ribber). I have to turn it to P5 to have the zero positions on both beds lined up. What am I doing wrong?

Ooo I have a motor. I have no instructions to work mine. I might have to pick your brains.
Very helpful video, thank you so much! Am finally getting to use my KH260 and KR260 machines and looking forward to more of your valuable instruction.

So sad but I thi k it can be salvaged
I bought my knitting machine 20 years ago. I didn’t know I needed a ribbing attachment. Do you know where I can get one?
Hi there. Try Facebook. Great deals there or eBay. X

That is correct it will only march up at 5. On three it is 2 needles sideways.
