This information literally saved me $150 for new hoses and hours of work swapping them out. Picked the O-rings out and replaced them and it fixed the problem for sure. O-ring size is 7/8 OD standard or 22.6 OD metric.
@@rams27I have a 2013 Ford Focus Se 2.0L. Mine are left right, not up down like in the video. It was definitely my O-Ring. Just stress tested my vehicle and it worked beautifully. I bought Storehouse brand, item 67677 Nitrile O-Ring Assortment, and used A116. It is a 3/4 ID 15/16 OD x 3/32 thickness O-Ring. On the quick connect there are two tabs. If you press them GENTLY you can remove the upper grey part of the connector. The O-Ring is found just below where the grey parts sits. This allows for easy removal and easy install of the new O-Ring. Hopefully this helps.
My o-ring was leaking and I broke the twist connector. Dorman 800-411 is a replacement connector - I cut back the hose and clamped it to the Dorman connector.

Did you cut the hose connector off? How did you do it? Need help as I couldn't find the right oring and I ain't going spend on a new hose just for that.
This is a criminally underrated video. Thank you for the information and effort.

What year/model vehicle? I have a 2012 Ford focus and need to replace the o-ring
I've got a 2012 as well. I just got the O ring out by removing the gray locking part from the black connector. The O ring is definitely shot.

If it was leaking at this connection would it translate to my carpet below both front seats feeling and looking greasy from fumes or very slight drip?
Thank you for the video really helps.

Wish I had that much space got the ford focus mk3 ecoboost no space to get to it 😕 bloody nightmare.
Same what a pain...
You manage to do I've still not got around to doing mine think I'm going to remove the cover under tge window see if it gives me more space
Fix it permanently without the silly clamp. No more clamps no more o rings. Simply connect the hose directly.
