I know after 20 years of fans talking crap about him and that version of the four horsemen everyone thinks it was the worst ever but truth be told that Monday night wars era of the four horsemen was the longest running lineup the four Horsemen ever had. And they were very over with the WCW fans in the 90s. The WCW fans in the 90s treated mongo and Chris Benoit like they were Barry Windham and Tully Blanchard. I’m not saying that bongo was the greatest technical wrestler ever but he did improve over time. If you go look at his first match and then go look at his last match the guy actually did get better. I sincerely hope he overcomes the health issues he’s having now. Get better mongo!
He was 39 when he started. Imagine if he started at 29...

Yes true. Beef was over debra, stone cold's ex and mongos new wife at the time

Wasn't a fan of Mongo at first but I gotta admit he grows on you. Surprised that he didn't go up to WWE
Mongo looked the part and talked the part, but wasnt great inring thou. Still i liked him as a horsemen, he had the spirit and chemistry.
He didn't need to, but he was there for a spell, actually before his WCW run. He accompanied Lawrence Taylor at WrestleMania 11.
@@wolverine6511 I agree. People shit on him because he wasn't some great wrestling technician, but hell, half the guys weren't. He was solid on the mic, had good energy, and had a pretty sweet tombstone piledriver. He wasn't the worst Horsemen, that would be Paul Roma or Dean Malenko.
