@25:16 The veneer labels I have seen, top left number is the log number, does not mean much, top right number is the bundle number, looks like 19. Bottom left is 24 slices, then 300 is length in centimeters, next number 13 is width in centimeter and last number is total area in square meters. The veneer industry is quite metric. As you know 1/42" is 0.6mm for the standard thickness nowadays.

Hi Scott, The universe is expanding. Amazing possibilities. My veneering has been two dimensional til now, but I would love to venture out of my depth! Go bills! (Midland, Ontario)

    Hello Scott,
Regarding your ImagineGrove lightbulb logo that I saw inlaid into the corner of the chessboard, did you send your logo design out to a company to make them for you (maybe in groups of 100) Or did you hand cut or scrollsaw all the veneered pieces into a marquetry packet and inlay that into the chessboard veneer? I have a logo of my own that is about 1” x 2” and the pieces are pretty small to do by hand. If you farm your logo out can you tell me who they are?
    Thanks,
    Rick W in Santa Rosa-Calif

You could hand cut very small pieces using a double bevel cut method. I rub a little PVA glue into the grain first. OR you can laser cut them. easy peezy either way.
