I bought the Airpulse A100's based on your videos and I am really happy with the transparency and the spaciousness at the highs and mids. The tweeters are remarkably analytical and precise and I am rediscovering all the music that I love. Negatives: They really only come alive at somewhat higher volumes for nearfield listening I feel. And I do find that they are lacking a little in the lower frequencies. While they never sound thin, you feel that something isn't there that you get with a bigger speaker on the music which does anything up to a 90 hertz. I did do a listening in the shop with a big subwoofer plugged in and that simply added another dimension. So right now I'm waiting on a sub to arrive so I can try to augment them to create a perfect sound bubble when I am working at my desk. I know the highs and mids are covered extremely well with the A100's. Thanks for your videos!

First set. 3. Original track. 4. Second set. 5. First set. I think it would be the best way to hear the difference between original tracks and both sets. edifiers S3000 are more full bodied in the bottom end, but bass is considerably slower in its attack. the airpulse have a faster bass attack making everything more cohesive and natural. i prefer the airpulse.

S3000Pro has better bass for sure. but compared to A100 it seems there are something missing between the mid/bass driver and the treble driver. i.e worse crossover transition.
As my previous comparison between Edifier S3000Pro and Airpulse A100 was skewed due to my mistake (S3000Pro was recorded in "Classic" mode that boosts treble significantly colouring the sound signature) I decided to do a second take. This time S3000Pro is recorded in Monitor mode, which is much more neutral and natural sounding, and in my opinion better represents S3000Pro's capabilities. Let me know what you think about results of this comparison. What it helpful to redo it or was it a waste of time? Cheers!

Very very close! In metal head the A100 tweeter sounds slightly better. Bass obviously lacks on the A100 but it's not too bad. I wonder how the A300 would go with bass. The ribbon tweeter is slightly better I guess. But not noticeably.
The Airpulse A100 is a much more versatile and agile-sounding speaker, but I suspect that the tweeter will get fatiguing after lengthy listening sessions at moderate to high sound pressures. The S3000 is a little less exciting, it seems to me, but much more long-wearing.
2:06 there's a good deal here for vocals and highs. I'm not sure I can tell the difference in either through my current listening source. The bass on the S3000 comes through much fuller though. In the metal head track @ 6:29 the S3000 seems to lose a little in mid low muddiness, perhaps not as quick. Again I don't notice much difference in the classic wood track. Could be my listening source though.
if you are into music, it's a good choice and maybe you'll good to go for years without changing your system if you are contented with its performance and not bored of its sound. As for me I only use the R1280DB w/c I guess the entry level of monitor speakers made by Edifier but still loving its sound w/ a little tweak of eQ on my pc using equalizer APO.
I’ve heard people say that R1850db passes low frequencies even after attaching a sub to it. They say that at least this was the case with Edifier T5 sub. Is this the case with you also. What sub are you using fro Yamaha? What is the cut off frequency set?

so, after a few moths of experience with s3000 pro I decided to return to s2000 mkiii. I was so eager to advance to a300, but looks like I can't handle this price barrier in my head, that's just way too much for me and they're not that easily placed in a room which brings me additional business.
Don’t lol I just bought the a300 and they are not that great and I’m coming from s2000mkiii. The a300s are going right back. Very underwhelming speaker.

@@ЄвгенійЯкименко-с9т as I’m understand it now the bass on the airpulse line isn’t low I also returned a100 recently and the a300 today they both don’t have that boom in bass it’s tight and controlled obviously it has some bass but it you want that loud boom I wouldn’t recommend them. I can’t speak on the a300pro but I would imagine it might be a similar situation. Now the sound on the a300 was clear which was the only thing I liked about it but to me it wasn’t worth it. I spent 550$ USD on S2000MKIII. And to compare what edifier was charging 1500$ I was expecting to be wowed but not even close… it’s a shame. So I’m still on the search to replace my current speakers.

Napewno w jakis sposób opóźnienie jest kompensowane, ponieważ podczas odsłuchu nie ma żadnej różnicy pomiędzy zwykłymi systemami połączonymi kablem i bezprzewodowo połączonymi S3000Pro. Wszystko działa sprawnie i bezproblemowo

Czy jednak szukać czegoś z połączeniem "tradycyjnym" pomiędzy kolumnami? PS opóźnienie wynikające z przesyłu sygnału pomiędzy kolumnami wg testów jednego gościa to ok 30ms.
Не сильно круче, по отыграности + - так же, по характеру да, здесь это заметно из за того, что s3000pro в режиме монитора, этот режим самое сильно из всех 4 режимов урезает верхние частоты, поэтому тут они менее острые на фоне а100. Хотя отыгрывают всё ноты полностью. Для дома для компа предположу что для 99% пользователей s3000pro будут более предпочтительны, даже кто тут пишет за а100 уверен при лобовом прослушивании в живую не задумываясь возьмут s3000pro.
@@back_to_life0 Я уже почти скопил на s3000pro, они немного в цене подскочили за последнюю неделю, жду пока опять упадут, в магазине где покупал колонки до этого постоянно так, s2000mklll наоборот упали в цене, я их брал за 30.5к ру. А сейчас они чуть дешевле 27к.руб. что просто шикарно для такой техники, и А100 сегодня упали в цене до 48к.руб. вот стал думать может и а100 протестировать перед s3000pro, боюсь что обратно сдать не так просто будет, они лакированные и только в белом цвете там есть, будут заметны любые косяки, где-то налажаю и обратно не заберут. Интересно насколько отличительно играют а100 от а80, по размеру они не сильно отличаются, а мощность вообще таже 100ват. Басовик на пол-дюйма больше только и всё и ленточник чуть длиннее, что очень хорошо, так как направленность ВЧ излучателя в а80 оставляет желать лучшего, не знаю это беда всех ленточных твитеров или нет, но а80 должны были чётко играть тебе в уши, чётко направлены на тебя и на нужной высоте, повернул голову не так и стереопанорама рушилась, чего не происходило на s2000mklll вообще, они отлично играли в любой точке прослушивания, устал сидеть у компа, лёг на диван и всё замечательно, хотя разница в динамике всего пол-дюйма в сравнении с а80 ну и планарный твитер который похоже имеет куда большую направленность. Что даёт ему огромный плюс. Думаю тут история примерно аналогичная, только разница в динамике уже в полтора дюйма, и мощности более чем в 2 раза, думаю они очень объёмно и глубоко должны копать. Что даст им значительное преимущество при просмотре фильмов и некоторых музыкальных направлений.

To my ears via ATH AD2000X open back headphones:
s3000 win in the bass,
a100 has slight advantage in staging.
I concur using Focal Elear headphones.
S3000 cost nearly half the price of the A1000 making the 3000 a win win in my opinion. Also not need to purchase a sub and saving even more money.

AirPulse is also a sub-brand of Edifier, A100 line suppose to be superior in high frequency area, but they sound almost identical in this test.

On metal head song, A100 highs much better. Analytical and more resolving. Listened on my IEM.

T5 is 70w rms while the woofer of s3000pro puts out 120w rms each with same freq respnse of 38hz as T5

The one with separate subwoofer always sound better closer to source than standalone stereo with only woofer and tweeter
S3000Pro. It has presence in the midrange (forward vocals). The A100 sounds flat and boring.

And how would you outline the main differences between 2000mkiii and a300, and why do you feel a300 is not, perhaps, worth its price? I also had 3000 pro and 2000mkiii sound morepleasant to my ear.

@@ЄвгенійЯкименко-с9т as I’m understand it now the bass on the airpulse line isn’t low I also returned a100 recently and the a300 today they both don’t have that boom in bass it’s tight and controlled obviously it has some bass but it you want that loud boom I wouldn’t recommend them. I can’t speak on the a300pro but I would imagine it might be a similar situation. Now the sound on the a300 was clear which was the only thing I liked about it but to me it wasn’t worth it. I spent 550$ USD on S2000MKIII. And to compare what edifier was charging 1500$ I was expecting to be wowed but not even close… it’s a shame. So I’m still on the search to replace my current speakers.
@@ЄвгенійЯкименко-с9т yeah to me it seems like it’s either the s3000pro or the s2000mkiii which ever is people’s preference. I’m actually thinking about buying the s3000 pro again. Only reason I returned them the first time was because I felt the highs were too overly done but I guess I’ll just download an equalizer to rectify the issue.

a80 и а100 сильно отличаются по звучанию ? верх, середина, басс ? насколько они уступают в звуке более крупной модели ? если к а80 купить саб T5 это хорошо компенсирует басс ? а80+Т5 обойдут по звучанию s3000pro и s2000mk3 ?
Да а 100 ярче и чище играют в этом их прелесть если уж камуто будет мало баса сабвуфер в помощь, думаю будет лучше чем напольники за такие деньги. 😉

Czy ktokolwiek mierzył opóźnienia w S3000 w przesyłaniu sygnału pomiędzy kolumną główną a podrzędną? Czy czujesz różnicę w głośności grania kolumny nadającej sygnał a odbierającej? Przecież musi tutaj występować opóźnienie (latency).
Napewno w jakis sposób opóźnienie jest kompensowane, ponieważ podczas odsłuchu nie ma żadnej różnicy pomiędzy zwykłymi systemami połączonymi kablem i bezprzewodowo połączonymi S3000Pro. Wszystko działa sprawnie i bezproblemowo

A sprawdzałeś może jak to się ma z synchronizacją odtwarzania filmów przez połączenie przez optyka, USB albo rca z np. ruchem warg aktora i głosem jaki jest potem odtwarzany? Czy występuje opóźnienie z audio? Generalnie jestem z nich bardzo zadowolony i nie wiem czy dokładnie wszystko przetestowałem, bo mam jeszcze czas, by je po prostu zwrócić. Czy jednak szukać czegoś z połączeniem "tradycyjnym" pomiędzy kolumnami? PS opóźnienie wynikające z przesyłu sygnału pomiędzy kolumnami wg testów jednego gościa to ok 30ms.

Верха у а100 прям заметно круче!!!!но баса меньше сказывается литраж и размер динамика, но до оригинала обоим далековато, но а100 ближе))
Не сильно круче, по отыграности + - так же, по характеру да, здесь это заметно из за того, что s3000pro в режиме монитора, этот режим самое сильно из всех 4 режимов урезает верхние частоты, поэтому тут они менее острые на фоне а100. Хотя отыгрывают всё ноты полностью. Для дома для компа предположу что для 99% пользователей s3000pro будут более предпочтительны, даже кто тут пишет за а100 уверен при лобовом прослушивании в живую не задумываясь возьмут s3000pro.

@@back_to_life0 Я уже почти скопил на s3000pro, они немного в цене подскочили за последнюю неделю, жду пока опять упадут, в магазине где покупал колонки до этого постоянно так, s2000mklll наоборот упали в цене, я их брал за 30.5к ру. А сейчас они чуть дешевле 27к.руб. что просто шикарно для такой техники, и А100 сегодня упали в цене до 48к.руб. вот стал думать может и а100 протестировать перед s3000pro, боюсь что обратно сдать не так просто будет, они лакированные и только в белом цвете там есть, будут заметны любые косяки, где-то налажаю и обратно не заберут. Интересно насколько отличительно играют а100 от а80, по размеру они не сильно отличаются, а мощность вообще таже 100ват. Басовик на пол-дюйма больше только и всё и ленточник чуть длиннее, что очень хорошо, так как направленность ВЧ излучателя в а80 оставляет желать лучшего, не знаю это беда всех ленточных твитеров или нет, но а80 должны были чётко играть тебе в уши, чётко направлены на тебя и на нужной высоте, повернул голову не так и стереопанорама рушилась, чего не происходило на s2000mklll вообще, они отлично играли в любой точке прослушивания, устал сидеть у компа, лёг на диван и всё замечательно, хотя разница в динамике всего пол-дюйма в сравнении с а80 ну и планарный твитер который похоже имеет куда большую направленность. Что даёт ему огромный плюс. Думаю тут история примерно аналогичная, только разница в динамике уже в полтора дюйма, и мощности более чем в 2 раза, думаю они очень объёмно и глубоко должны копать. Что даст им значительное преимущество при просмотре фильмов и некоторых музыкальных направлений.

Всетаки отдельный саб дает куда глубже бас и куда проще его добиться, не нужно выкручивать регулятор низких и включать колонки 2.0 громче. Саб есть саб. Просто читал десяток комментов , что edifier t5 , отстойная гуделка, а вот про 351,360 таких комментов не было, хотя на аид сабы одинаковые по размерам и конструкции
