Thanks for your reply Jamie, great session with some great bream. When it’s got a bit of colour in it fishes well. That groundbait mix looks good. Thanks again.
Brilliant video of river fishing. Love your thoughts behind the changes you make to your fishing techniques on the day. Also impressed with that rod and how it coped with the river and your catches. Thank you Jamie.
Hello😃 I have been watching your channel for a long time ... there is a lot of knowledge in it and you show how to effectively catch fish. this episode ... great🏆 Greetings from Poland
I caught 5 really nice bream at my local pond. First time I fished there. Absolutely loved it. I caught them using cage feeder with a 6mm pellet on the hook. If you didn't make these videos I wouldn't be catching anything. Iv learnt a lot from you jamie. Thank you
Great Video, used to fish the trent when I was a teenager, remember bagging bream and Chub with the odd shock when I hooked a Carp or barbel. I live down south now but makes me wanna organise a road trip 🤔 😎😎
Nice 1 Jamie a fantastic 2 hours fishing at any time of the year. keep them coming, got out for the first time this year on tuesday had a great day fishing with my son, we both caught some nice carp and bream, tight lines!!!!
With the conditions right this can be a brilliant time for them waking up hungry river bream. it's been a horrible winter all round it's great to see you into some proper fish well done. Laters
I was thinking I was the only angler in the country that was actually following the lockdown, seems I am not the only one after all.No one really should be fishing unless you actually live on the water because you are supposed to be staying local, not making unnecessary journeys & your exercise period is supposed to be an hour-long. I feel what should have happened is that fishing should have ceased completely so that when the restrictions were lifted the close season could have been done away with for this season only allowing everyone a decent chance to fish. Seems to stay local is being generally abused but I have heard a number of fishermen have been issued with £200 fines.
Stay local applies unless you have to travel for work. So it's possible he had to travel near there and was able to stop on the way. Also there's no limit on outdoor exercise duration, 1 hour was under the first lockdown. Clarification would help though, to ensure people don't interpret this to mean the unnecessary travel ban has been lifted
I think you'll find this is all in order as its classed as work as Jamie makes part of his living from this channel, I can't fish as there are no waters local to me either but I'm glad Jamie is making these videos to keep me entertained and educated during lockdown
Hi Jamie, you know what's so nice. you have already had so many successes. But still happy when you have had another successful fishing session. nice man 👍👍👍
Great dangling, Jamie! 🎣 Looks like those Trent bream have been feeding well on all those pellets intended for barbel 😂 Really looking forward to your future river feeder fishing videos. Thanks for the upload.
fantastic film jamie I learn so much off you. Will try that ground bait mix on the river Barrow in Co. Carlow when I can get out again. Please please keep films coming.
You with that bream haul on that match on the trent.takes some beating but what you caught in that short time.imagin a five hour match and you just started to really get their heads down.jamie brilliant video mate 👍
Another top notch video I love your channel tips are priceless been a subscriber for years and never been disappointed in a video thanks for sharing especially in Arctic conditions lol stay safe all the best
@@CatchFishingChannel question about rigs for the river. Could you use a helicopter rig with a long hook length on a river to make a sort of bolt rig for self hooking the fish? I've only really used it on lakes before.
Good stretch ,chuck right over to wall it's a big cast but carp barbel hang around ,note the power station if u Google earth on stretch its not there strange 🤔
Well done Jamie another brilliant video ,nice and simple tips and a fantastic 2 hours for you on a bone chilling cold winters day.Always well explained to make it a great watch.Having a week on N broads in middle of June so hopefully catch some bertiebreams on the tidal bure on similar tactics you've shown us today.cheers pal.
Very good video jamie mate i dont no how you managed to pack up and go home when you was catching slabs like that i can't wait to get my tackle out and on the river
Way back in the day on the Trent you would catch decent Chub on worm and sizeable Gudgeon...Im astonished that you were able to target Decent bream so exclusively with not a single small Perch either.
Absolutely stinking net in that short of time well done ,I'm impressed by that rod. Look forward to seeing it in the shops ,need a could of good f river feeder rods admins are getting long in the tooth
wow 2 hours nice catch i counted 12 so 40lb ??? great catch i would have stayed longer till dark if i was catching bream like that wd jamie but is it a renowned bream stretch ??

Interesting scissors solution... Duplicate single blade? :)
Jamie, maybe there is info from Matrix when x pro distance rods will be available to order? I am looking into 13ft/14ft, first for testing if they will handle continental river flow (80-150g cw needed all year long). I see 12ft rod seems to be more towards fast action, am i right? Will the rest of rods will be faster than usual UK market rods too?
hi Jamie great video. I'm wondering if you could help me I'm wanting to try river trent after it opens in middle of June but I need some where with easy access and where I can park car close due to low mobility. so I'm just wondering have you got any postcodes I'm from Doncaster so this of Newark if possible thanks.
I only had those with me as I would have used them fishing for roach if it had been clearer water mate, I just prefer bronze when fishing for roach on there mate
Been going to Ireland 🇮🇪 for nearly 40 years and can’t remember seeing a bag of bream like that for years. Is it a day ticket stretch and who has the fishing rights? 🐠
Morning Jamie. Couple of questions please..how do you know where to fish or distance and how do you know that you've got enough wright on the feeder ? Would you add more weight on to make a running line, stationary bait or just hold bottom?. Another great video with loads of info. Thank you. Hope you're dads ok and wanting the warmer weather so he could get out again.

I thought we was in lockdown?! We would all love to go to trent like but its tough shit for now. Well thats what I thought anyway.
