    Love the slop cloud when its hard or right at the start of a session. Feeder fishing has defo come on over the years including utilizing your mix and these tricks do make a massive difference.

      @@CatchFishingChannel Hardest, thing i found fishing braid direct is not striking. Just lift and wind. Its, a natural instinct to strike

    Sometimes putting bigger feeder on and packing it with bait can work when bites slow down.

  • @davep6286

    Another great upload, thank you. Looking at your rig, what line is your 8lb link, as pro micron is pre stretched, is it the horizon pro or similar? One more question if I may, would two parts F1 dark, to one part Thatcher original be a good mix for this style. Many thanks.

    • @CatchFishingChannel
      @CatchFishingChannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Dave! It's a prototype line so I'll let you know about it ASAP ;) Personally I'd just use the F1 as it's not as strong as it would be if you introduced Thatchers mate

    Great,very helpful video as usual.
    Apologies if this has been asked a hundred times before but I've noticed your now using the Pro rather than Comp seatbox, was there a reason for the change Jamie? Thanks 😊

    • @CatchFishingChannel
      @CatchFishingChannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Vince 👍 The comp is a brilliant box but the only reason I changed is because on lots of the venues I fish I need to be sat out in the water using various box attachments so I need to be able to use all of the box leg if that makes sense mate?

    • @vincesmith9138
      @vincesmith9138 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes totally understand, I have the comp and it's 90% the box l need but sometimes trying to jiggle attachments above or below the H frame is frustrating. Thanks for replying. 👍

    A great video Jamie. I remember many years ago if you didn't use VDE Brasem your catch went down drastically. It seems to have fallen out of favour at this time, why do you think this is.
    The bait additive market is flooded with all sorts of potions. I would think you would say no need to use them if your catching.

    • @CatchFishingChannel
      @CatchFishingChannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Malc and yes I remember! I think it just went out of fashion here in England I think mate

    • @davep6286
      @davep6286 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Malc, do you think it’s demise corresponds with pellets being used now. I loved the smell of Brasem, and as you walked along the bank you knew who was or wasn’t using it🤔👍
