Great video Jamie, I have filed some of the ideas away for an upcoming match on the road stretch, so perfect timing, 👍👍 For anyone that is interested, I can thoroughly recommend a 1 -1 or instruction day with Jamie & Dean Barlow. I learned so much including a lot of things I wouldn't have worked out for myself and has given me feel a lot more confidence when river fishing.
Nice video Jamie. Does the wading rule only count when you first set up or could you be legal from the start and then breaking the rules later on in the match if the river was to considerably rise?
Great vid as always, mate :) Just wondering, what the reel is? You've said it's a 4000 reel but no brand mentioned? A secret Ethos XR development, maybe? :D
@@CatchFishingChannel That’s cool in a match, but on a pleasure/recon session clearing it out would’ve give more uninterrupted test time, sometimes ya catch them instantly too…. Tight lines
Great video Jamie, always lovely fishing rivers.
Thanks to you, I have been catching feeders for two years. You are my big fan. Greetings from the Czech Republic.

A great vid Jamie, used to fish there on Wasp gub in th Autumn months, when the place was full of chub some time in the 8os dave
A different river back then wasn’t it Dave!
Great film Jamie, seems your luck with the weather doesn’t alter. Would you always take bronze maggots?
😂😂😂 it wouldn’t be one of my videos without rain in it would it Stephen! We just prefer them on the Trent mate
@@CatchFishingChannel cheers Jamie think the Patreons need to club together to send you back to France to find the sun 😉

Really good info in this video would you have had any better results if you tried a lighter tip ?
Loved the video 👍
Thanks mate and possibly but it seemed about right for the amount of flow mate
Try a no.8 on book length......
Are you using a go pro or phone to film?
This was on a GoPro Matthew 👍
which reels are these?
New ones coming in January 2024 mate 👍
If you getting plagued by pike on your swim would it not be feesable to alternate on a second swim
Yes that can often work 👍
I always carry a few spinners and the ability to catch the pike and move them down the stretch, why don’t you ?
They’re just not allowed in our matches so we never really bother with them Tim
