There are for sure still much more rooms to enhance to perfection as time goes by. It did not occur to me that the "Jet Fighter generation" parameters were not internationally standardised. I've read recently that the J-20 was put into service without the upgraded WS-15 engine. J-20 looks really nice, it has the stealth fighter finesse....with nextgen engines...it will be a great asset for China. Russia should also emphasize a little more on stealth aspect of Pak FA....with stealth coating, serpentine air inlets and single piece canopy...SU57 will a strong competitor to F-22

After checking all 4th gene jet, SU 57 is prettiest( Russian always makes pretty jet fighter, Su27 etc.). Can’t find any detailed information from J20, so I assume the F22 is still the most advanced in server 4th jet. But instead of comparing them, I’d like to see one day all of engineers behind these jets could corporate and design a perfect jet which can represent the most advanced tec of human civilization. By the way, I’m big fan of Sid meier’s civilization

One nitpick however. It says at 0:14 that the J-20 is a 4th Generation jet fighter, but it says on Wikipedia that the J-20 is a 5th Generation jet fighter. Is it because the current in-service model has yet to receive the upgraded engines?
5th gen by the US standard is labelled and called 4th gen by China with her own standard. Both are the same level.
Ah, that would explain things. I guess I should check different viewpoints on before making judgements. It did not occur to me that the "Jet Fighter generation" parameters were not internationally standardised.
I've read recently that the J-20 was put into service without the upgraded WS-15 engine. Coming from US source and unable to find any Chinese sources I could read, I would like to ask if this is indeed the case as it is good to assume bias is omnipresent. I hear the upgraded engine is quite important for the J-20 as otherwise it would lack crucial manoeuvrability capabilities.
You won’t find any solid news about China Military hardware unless it’s close to 100% rate of success. Same thing in regard to WS-15 engine which is “still” under development but “almost” ready.
There is unofficial news from the test pilot who confirmed the testing. China seldom release the result if it is not close to 100% of success rate. But will continue to keep the test result until it is fully secured, despite the success. But from the insider news, it's very positive. China currently has two J-20 production lines, one producing J-20 with Russian AL-31 engines and the other producing J-20A installed with China’s WS-10B Taihang engines. It is said that a third production line has recently gone into operation to produce J-20A.
By the end of 2019, there will be a fourth J-20 production line for production of J-20B using China’s homegrown WS-15 Emei turbofans. Due to the use of WS-15, J-20B’s cruise speed will be Mach 1.8 and maximum speed exceeds Mach 2.2, equal to those of US F-22.
According to the info of Corrine Tsang, a commentator of this channel, the J-20 B with the WS-15 engine can super cruise without afterburner. The WS-15 engine has a thrust of 40,000 lbs. and a thrust to weight ratio of 10. The J-20B has terahertz radar or quantum radar that can see stealth airplanes and four PL-21 VLRAAM that flies at mach 6 speed with a 300 miles range. China is building 500 J-20B and 300 J-31B for aircraft airplanes until the 6th generation stealth J-28 and J-50 come on line.
Either way, sooner or later it will be using China homegrown engine..
On 0:09 the video describes the J 20 as a fourth generation stealth fighter which makes it the most factual statement in this state sanctioned TH-cam video and channel.

Odd how Russia's and US aviation industry is a decade ahead of the Chinese, yet China is capable of putting a 5th gen jet into service, while Russia is still struggling.
But then again, China has the greatest production capacity on the planet ;and a budget 3 times larger.
China makes some good fighter jets but the dimensions on this seem a bit off. Not sure of the stealthiness of this jet.
