    Watched the video initially a while ago as I built a list of jobs to do on the exact same car, used it to get the right bulbs and just spent a few mins making the same pick tool as could not move the cover plate,all worked a treat and another item off the list, thanks for taking the time to make the video. Rich.

    $15 per bulb in the US, since shipping is pretty high. Thanks for the video. Helpful!

    Hi Paul. Pls let me know where you've got the control panel replacing the car radio player. Brand and model? Any video of the panel in operation?

    Hi Paul
    Do you know how to replace any of the other internal lights?
    For example window switch lights or headlight adjustment switch.
    I'm honestly not sure which switches are supposed to be illuminated or not.
    Regards another Paul 😀

    So ive changed all my vehicle lights to blue but T5 and T3 arnt the size that fits. Is there a specific size i need to look for or is it just not possible to change these bulbs colors?

    • @Xpp.

      These bulbs are Honda only so i think the only option is to custom fit some LED’s OR fit some coloured bulb caps ?

    • @pdacollinsgmail
      @pdacollinsgmail 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The bulbs are Т1, 14V, 65mA, ф3.2x6.35mm. But you can put in T3 and T4 leds. All bulbs on the car are 14V so make sure you buy the correct ones.

    Blimey. I need to do one in mine, and also the bulb for the hazard switch. Can you not get the bulbs in halfords? And do you know if the bulb behind the hazard switch is the same as the heater control ones?

    Nice video...As far as the broken plastic, keep some loctite brand or suitable brand "plastic" epoxy in your tool box. Forget glue as the epoxy finished results is stronger that the plastic before it broke!
    I checked ebay prices for a replacement as my 2 bulbs are out and I agree, what a strange abhorrent expense for 2 bulbs! I'm off to my Honda dealership and see if they can beat $9.10 US , otherwise I'll have to pay as turning on the interior light every time you want to alter the blower mode to upper or defrost during night driving is getting real old!! It is blacked out for night driving with those bloody lamps out!

    • @Xpp.
      @Xpp.  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good advice with the epoxy ! I have used it before 👍👍

    Hi can you just replace the bulb without the holder with a lucas llb 286

    • @Xpp.
      @Xpp.  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’m sure it’s possible to solder in a new bulb but these are glued into the holder too so you would probably have to dig out the broken glass from the old bulb ?

    Can i put led bulbs in?

    • @Xpp.
      @Xpp.  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I guess if you can find somewhere that sells them ? They are a special bulb holder so it not something you can get easily , I tried several parts outlets before I went to the Honda dealer . I guess your other option would be to solder in LED’s to the original holder ?
      Hope that helps ?

    Why didn't you replace all six bulbs with ATG Gold LED lights?

    • @Xpp.
      @Xpp.  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because I haven’t got a clue what they are and the dealer didnt offer any alternatives ...... its only the Mrs’s car so didnt need anything fancy

    • @angelisone
      @angelisone 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Xpp. The biggest mistakes from car owners are to go to the dealerships.
      Dealerships WILL NOT provide alternatives because you are in their store/shop.
      When you see those patches on the man's shirt or fancy shop, it means they are certified to rob you blind?
      Beside many have been fully brainwashed to think that China sell junks.
      Remember, not long ago they said Japan were junks?
      Paul, if you need assistant or help, please ask.
      We the people must help each other because the rich care less about us.
      I asked ATG and I saved big time

    • @Xpp.
      @Xpp.  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I couldn’t disagree more ? Genuine parts will fit properly and generally last longer , especially these bulbs ,different if its a gearbox or something thats expensive , its dealership parts all the way for any of my unmodified cars ! And generally speaking LED’s wont dim using the dash dimmer so that would render that feature pretty useless 🤷‍♂️
      Dont take this as a criticism as i know you mean well 👍👍

    • @angelisone
      @angelisone 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Xpp. Well, ATG Gold LED (modified from Cree & Flir) are dimmable.
      But my clients, companies & I preferred LED to be max luminosity.
      As a matter fact even Honda knew that many of their light bulbs are not bright.
      So do you really want to pay an overpriced Condom light bulbs from Honda?
      You can get the exact fit without a Condom and brighter tungsten, but LED is better.
      Paul, you can remove the condom & filter on the instrument cluster & you will love it.
      Like saying do you want to read from a 60watts or 150watts light bulb?
      But the smart one rather use ATG LED (25w) because it put out 150w equivalency!
      So if you time that with 30 bulbs in your home you are using 3,000 watts vs 750 watts.
      Why support the electrical company & store to buy replacement bulbs.

    • @Xpp.
      @Xpp.  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      🤣🤣🤣 blimey is this your own ebay page you’re trying to promote? ..... i dont think you’re understanding my polite answers ? This is a how - to video ! not a ‘what bulbs to fit’ video , I dont want super bright LED’s ? I like fitting original manufacturers parts where possible on my unmodified cars , i probably could of bought 10 of your LED’s for the price of these original equipment ones ! But do you know why ? Because thats my choice !

    Wiggle n a jiggle = Scottish translation- shake n shoogle. has to be the biggest contradiction that mechanics have sausage fingers and so much modern stuff is small n fiddly, lol.
