    Extend fear ratio, probably eliminate the torque steer. That’s definitely smooth the power band.

    the crab walk issue is the viscous center coupler; it only sends power to the rear when the front is slipping. pinning the rear diff probably made it do worse in the turns too.

    I built a 250k 2jz tiny turbo swapped 4x4 4runner with 250k and with auto trans. Can shift to 4x4 on the fly. Super budget project but waxing v8s and mild built hondas is an absolute blast. Cant wait to get my hands on some 5.29s and a 100 shot.

    I've got an '05 CRV that i really want to boost. But, no one makes ECU mods for this specific model, as in 05+ Honda switched partially to CANBus and a fly-by-wire throttle. K-Pro and Hondata says they don't make anything for my ECU.
    That said, the only way i know how to boost it (while keeping it emissions compliant) is via an FMU.
    Is there any better way to tune it? I want to be able to adjust fuel and timing tables.

    Anyone knows if it's worth putting a turbo in the stock K crv engine? With the 157 bhp. Where I live is very expensive to import an engine and parts. So looking for the cheapest route to 300 bhp

      Considering the power, height, and tire profile it actually corners fairly well. Just the power-on that's a bit touch and go haha

    It's a cute build. I'm a fan of sleepers. I actually swapped a gen 2 small block 5.7L Chevy V8 into a 1986 Chevy Blazer 4WD, THEN added TWO T3/T4 Turbones from Amazon and a CSU 750CFM Blow-through carb, modified the HEI ignition to retard timing with boost instead of having vacuum advance. The result? A sleeper Blazer to smoke that CRV with 600-700HP through the snow tires.

    • @shaggyanng8768
      @shaggyanng8768 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not a sleeper build you got as in every body ever swapped a Jimmy or s10 with v8s

    It's like crabwalking, wanting to pull wherever?
    Yeah, sounds like my 1st gen HRV which if I'm not mistaken is about the same years as the CRV you were driving.
    When I was cruising down the interstates here in Iceland at 90-100mph the car literally felt like a small boat. Smallest uneven surface made the car wiggle and I believe that's just a symptom of the awkward tallness. Never felt this before with lower cars, nor after.
    This feeling is completely gone for example in the 3rd gen CRV.

  • @AdamNZ
