Queen getting to work. Keep going down the queen rabbit hole there catalog is huge and there live performances are incredible R.I.P FREDDIE WE MISS YOU GOD BLESS
I was lucky to see Queen many times from their first show in Boston to their last show with Freddie here. I even saw them two or three times in one week when they were doing shows with in driving distance. I did see them after Freddie passed away with Adam Lambert, he did a good job but just not quite the same. IMO one of the greatest rock bands ever.
I haven't really heard anything good or bad about Queen with Adam Lambert. It probably isn't the same. Linkin Park is doing a similar thing with Emily Armstrong as the new singer due to Chester Bennington passing away, although they are still writing new music. Is Queen doing any new music or are they playing the hits?
Brian started writing this when he was studying for his PHD in Tenerife he wasn’t sure about using the line Tie Your Mother Down but Freddie convinced him to keep it brilliant song love this version ❤
An aside, during the rehearsal of this song for 86 Wembley concert show the explosions at the end we nearly loose Brian,as he stops right by where the exposions are, thanks to Freddie's quick reactions disaster is avoided, thus available on TH-cam xx
I want to share with you one discovery of a young talent. This girl amazes with her voice from a very young age. Many reactors have made thousands of reactions to her amazing voice. React or discover this phenomenon. To get acquainted, I recommend making a reaction to her performance at the age of 10. If you don’t see that there is a little girl in front of you, then you hear the voice of a professional vocalist with 20-30 years of singing experience. So, Diana Ankudinova (10 years old) - Oh, Darling! The famous hit of the legendary group The Beatles.
I love this song written by Brian May. It is a good solid metal song but whether or not it is one of Queen's heaviest I am not certain. Brian likes heavy rock and roll so a lot of his songs lean in that direction. This song was released in 1976. Queen formed in 1970. The reason the audio and video are so crisp on this is because this was originally filmed on mm film and was intended to be shown on a big screen, one that was much bigger even than IMAX. The company didn't make it but earlier this year, the Montreal concert was shown in IMAX theaters around the US and in a few other countries. It was not advertised at all and wasn't even listed on the theater guides. I would have never known if it had not been that I follow Roger and Brian on social media. I had to go through the back door just to find out which theaters were showing it and because of that, the theater was practically empty both times I saw it. It was fantastic, though to have a whole Queen Concert in that huge IMAX format with incredible audio. It was a total flashback to the Queen live concerts from my past. Thank you for your reaction.
@@AceofBadeReacts It was on purpose, I think. Queen released the IMAX DVD shortly after the movie was shown in North America, and Japan, perhaps a few other places. It probably had to do with some sort of contractural agreement. It is too bad because I think that so many people really would have loved to see it in IMAX. It only showed for a week or two and that was all that was ever planned for it. Sony just bought the entire Queen catalog along with all their videos, etc. so it might have been some sort of legal showing of the film by Queen Official, so Sony could use it later on. The fact that it was filmed on 8mm film makes the footage timeless...and the audio was incredible as well.
@@sherryheim5504 Well if Sony's stint with Marvel is any indication on how well they manage things, they should probably sell it to someone who can actually do good with it. But yeah I mean they were thinking way far in advance with this performance for sure
@@AceofBadeReacts Sony is paying 1 billion dollars for Queen's catalog so that is kind of an offer they couldn't refuse. Also, Brian, Roger and John are getting on in years and I can only imagine the fighting that might go on between their kids (John has 6, Roger 5 and Brian 3) with the music after they have gone, so this ties it all up neatly in a bow and all that needs happen after this is the money be gifted to each of their families/charities, etc. by the individual band members. Freddie's all goes to his estate which includes the Mercury Phoenix Trust. There will still be royalties but that too will be coming from Sony and not from the business "Queen Official" so that will also be tidier. This takes John, Roger and Brian out of the business end of it all . Brian has been uncharacteristically quiet on social media since the signing of the agreement with Sony. Somehow I get the feeling that to him, he is selling off a bit of himself, a lot like selling one of your children. When Brian is going through depression I have read that he says he doesn't shave and lets himself go and sure enough a few weeks ago he showed up on social media with a scruffy beard and saying that he was sorry to have gone quiet but that he had not been happy with his looks as of late. I am an amature writer and an amature artist and I find it difficult to part with any of my paintings or my writings. Each one is like a child to me because in some obscure way, there is a little bit of my DNA in each of them. It seems that Brian may regard his and Queen's music in the same manner.
@@sherryheim5504 That's valid. It's just Sony has not been making the best choices with how to do things. Queen made out like a bandit there, no doubt about it. I just feel like Sony is going to fumble it so hard and not do really anything with it like someone else could have done
I’d say their heaviest song is Gimme The Prize from the Magic album. Also written by Brian, it was included in the sound track for the Highlander movie. It’s a brilliant song. 🤘🏿

Oh for heaviness, this isnt really on the books for their heaviest tracks. They have more metal sounding tracks like The Hitman, Gimme The Prize, Stone Cold Crazy, Father to Son has a few heavy parts, Was It All Worth It, Ogre Battle, White Man, i can go on and on, but Queen is a very diverse band obviously, and they for sure have a heavier side they tap into here and there through their whole career
React to More Of That Jazz. Another song of Queen. And this time, it might be the heaviest song of Queen. Written and sung by Roger Taylor, the drummer.
"Their Heaviest Song?" LOL! Not even close! Try Ogre Battle, Stone Cold Crazy (the live version), Gimme the Prize, The Hitman, Modern Times Rock & Roll (the live version). Those are heavy metal songs by Queen.
Heaviest no way, listen to some early Queen like Liar, Stone Cold Crazy, Great King Rat, Ogre Battle etc. I Want It All is one from later years that is heavier.

Queen have plenty of heavier songs, check out; Stone Cold Crazy, Death on Two Legs, Ogre Battle. Even later tracks like I Want It All, rock hard.

Freddie loved having cord to the mic, and it always amazes me how he was able to avoid to get entangled into it.
