wow amazing man keep it up and look for more places to play drums
🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁
That's great news: Hope those cymbals will help you out.
Congrats! I upgraded mine a little over a year ago and I know exactly what you mean about the difference. I run a 20” Dream bliss crash/ride and a 22” Dream vintage bliss crash/ride. They sound amazing! My hats are a 16” vintage Zildjian on bottom and an 18” Sabian B8 on top. I also have a Zildjian splash use as well
Sound great. I do love my setups.
I have a bunch of Vintage A Zildjians, and Vintage Paiste 602s. All work so great. O also have a set of the reissue Paiste Giant Beats, 24,22,20,15. They sound killer!
So awesome!
Let’s gooooo
Looks like im not the only one who got new cymbals! 🥁🥁🥁
I use Sabian Stratus cymbals, and have been drumming for 6 years
Nice!!
I took a look at your older videos to see why your cymbals were cracking,
It's cause you have the crashes at head level. You want to hit your cymbals with the stick almost parallel to it VS angled to it. When cymbals are placed that high,
unless you angle your wrist, it's harder to hit the cymbal with the right angle. Solution is to lower crash cymbals or angle it lower.
Thanks for your help! Yea I’ve done a lot of research over the past couple days because I’m paranoid that I’m going to crack the new ones😅 That’s what I’ve found though, you have to angle them towards you and hit it about parallel instead of “reaching for it” and striking it at a sharp angle.
I think I have them angled correctly now. If you don’t mind, after I post my next drum cover, could you let me know if they’re at the right angle or I still need to change them?
I wish.. I drum in the garage so I don't want to get cymbals that would crack, and then washy buttery cymbals probably would 😢.
Thinner cymbals are harder to crack than thick ones! They flex more, don’t resist the stick as much, less brittle.
@@Frroggg but I've always read that medium cymbals can crack less because they're more durable? But that's a good point..
Technically, thin cymbals move more when struck, they are more susceptible to fatigue over time, especially if played with excessive force or hit repeatedly in the same spot.
@@Frroggg but tell me if I'm wrong
Where can I get really nice Sabian Cymbals for a Decent price I live in Canada 😊
I suggest websites like reverb! That’s where I’ve gotten all of mine
We use Sabian B8x and Don't have any Crash Cymbals except for one I got for $18 and it Sucks!
