I’m still enjoying slowly going through Red Matter 2. It’s sooooo good looking and scary how big the planets look.
Psvr2 without paroles; saving my wallet on the weekly/monthly basis
It's a bit sad actually that most games end up being so bad that we don't want to buy them.

I shouldn’t have laughed so hard at this but good games are on the way crazy yes how we don’t have games like dead by daylight vr , outlast , as marvel ultimate alliance type game , elder scrolls full enhanced for psvr2 with full body also a game like final fight or streets of rage in vr shit I would even like cod to give it a try again I don’t know why they went with that weak ass dogfight in space when they finally decide to try and make a vr title but vr is amazing and just got to hang in cause firewall and hell sweeper going to be crazy

For as much as I liked Sword of Gargantua in which I clocked in like 60 or so hours until I could oneshot the boss, I am happy I didn’t fall for Thirdverse again. Kinda sounds like in comparison SoG even had the better upgrade loop really and both lack severely in support and content, which is rather sad, with more variety and regular updates and expansions these could have been great games as running service for years…
Looked like reused assets too. Some of the swords you can use in SoG

I'd say that Altair is actually 1 step forward and 10 steps backwards compared to SoG.
In SoG enemies were much harder and focused on you and it was mainly about your skill and not your stats. So after level 60 or so it was really exciting and a great cardio too.
And this crap....well, it's just soulless. And considering that for SoG updates were only for Quest version, I'd say there's no point on wasting anything more than a 5$ on a game like that. They should've just add new stuff to SoG and not trying to create some sort of hollow generic universe from scratch.
And yeah, graphics and collision system are more like something they've cooked for PSVR1 or Quest.
Refunded on Steam. You liked it WAY more than I did.
Game difficulty level would be cool to hear in your reviews too 👍.
Like I mentioned in the review Altair Breaker is pretty easy, especially with friends. It's one of the things that feels like a downgrade from Swords of Gargantua. In 10+ hours of playing I only died a couple of times.

I just can't get over how similar the female character(the one from the thumbnail and some promo art) looks like to that Samsung Sam AI thing from like 2020
I own this game already and have yet to play it beyond the first dungeon loop, everytime i say I am going to go back to it, something pulls me in the opposite direction. I'll get around to it when I get bored with everything else since it doesn't seem like a game that I'll need to spend a ton of time with.

You can! And I personally think that's dumb too. Not being able to change weapons on the fly or drop items from your inventory during the levels is annoying... :D
@@WithoutParole Especially after SoG where you could take 4 different weapons with you. And they could also break, which was extra fun.

Bought a psvr 1 and a bunch of games for my ps5 for 150. I believe that was a better deal then going out and buying a psvr2. Its been a fun experience with limited cost investment
Staying a generation behind is ALWAYS a better investment. If you don't care about playing the newest and best stuff for another 5 years then you're gonna save a ton of money. Enjoy RE7!

I really like the core gameplay of Altair Breaker, but its lobbies are too sparse and as stated in review, the levels and enemy varieties are too limited.

The BEST Rally Game for PlayStation VR (and the only one we have!!) is GONE!!!

The idea that I could potentially be locked out of the game in a few years is just not something I want to deal with.

Oh look - another port of a crap Oculus 2 game. What a waste of money the PSVR2 is turning out to be. All this great tech and it gets ports of indie games for mobile chipsets. Faaaantastic.
Sorry you're not enjoying your PSVR2. I have to say I'm shocked by comments like this though. We've gotten 20+ must have games on PSVR2 in less than 3 months. And all the cross-platform stuff is insanely better on PSVR2. Not only that but the PlayStation Showcase is only 2 days away and will be Sony's first big push to show us what they have coming -- I just don't understand the pessimism
