My parents were married for 17 years, they divorced when I was 16. It wasn't very pretty for a year or 2. But with determination, on my mom's part, to let a lot of things go and only fight about what was important for mine and my brothers sake...they became better friends than when they were married. They're both remarried and my dad had 2 more daughters. My parents get along so well that when my stepmoms father fell ill from a brain tumor and my stepmom needed to help take care of him, my mom stepped up and offered to help watch my little sisters. And I can't express enough how good it feels to have your divorced parents get along so well. I understand not everyone's experience can allow for ex's to get along so well, but for the sake of your kids involved and for the sake of your own sanity, just try to let the small petty stuff go. Fight for the big, truly necessary things. ❤️

In Lewis Capaldi's song Forget Me, a lyric reads, "I'd rather hear how much you regret me And pray to God that you never met me Than forget me" "Even after all it'd still wreck me To find out you'd know how to forget me Even after all this time" It's just as easy to put our guards up than to let them down. I think that the speed and momentous nature of our society has affected that within so many of us. It's always sad to think that friendships within relationships continually die without true closure, so it was heartwarming to watch this interaction.

He's really grown on me over the years, Barbarian was his best performance I've seen, but he was great in Tusk, and Drag Me To Hell, and even Jeepers Creepers. A scream king. But his cameo in Zack and Miri was amazing.
