Also Lever Ayush Toothpaste contains Sodium Fluoride (Rock Salt Variant). As clearly mentioned on the pack. And toothpaste q.s. written in the ingredients includes anything from just a white paste, to all chemicals added like SLS and Triclosan. It feels great though.

My Great Grand Father lived for 98 years. He never used any toothpaste. He used to brush his teeth with neem(datun).
That neem datun has a very interesting story, let me tell you. My great grandfather was a freedom fighter. When our country became independent, government gifted him a piece of land for being a freedom fighter. He planted a neem tree on that piece of land (in those days people used to mark their territory by planting tree on that piece of land). The datun he used for brushing his teeth came from that exact same tree. He died peacefully at the age of 98 in year 2008. He still had 70-75 % of his teeth fully intact.
And btw that neem tree still exists today in my village. Perfectly healthy.

Mr Vivek, Due respect to all that you are doing, there is also a catch in VICCO Vajrdanthi tooth paste as well. At the end they say Excipients q.s. that means it can contain any ingredient I listed here. Excipients implicated are flavourings (and their active compounds) - spearmint (carvone), peppermint
(menthol), fennel (anethole) and cinnamon or cassia oil (cinnamic aldehyde) (1,4-10). Also the antibacterial, triclosan (11,12), foaming agents such as cocamidopropyl betaine (13,14) and sodium lauryl sulphate (15-17), and preservatives such as parabens (4), polyethylene glycol (13,18) sodium benzoate (19), olaflur (amine fluoride) (20,21) and tin in stannous fluoride (22,23). By the way I am not expecting one apple to be clean among 100s of rotten apples.

Vicco is hands-down the very best tooth-paste there is. My gums used to swell and bleed when I used to use pastes like Colgate and Closeup. And I also had cavity issues.
But since I started using Vicco, the gum and cavity issues have completely stopped, and I've never had to visit the dentist for any problems.
I do take a dentist appointment once a year for check-up and teeth cleaning, that's all.
I've been using Vicco for 15 years now.

NOWAY!!! It is full of chemicals! Check yourself. VICCO has 80% of excipients q.s which include chemicals like SLS, flouride and other harmful chemicals and only 20% are those herbal ingredients. Check the ingredients yourself. The last ingredient is “excipients q.s” which includes all the harmful chemicals!! Add the ingredients amount and see for yourself.
I'm using Dabur-Red for past 6-7yr, which cured my bleeding gums, over sensitive teeth to ice/cold water.
Your videos remind me of Rajiv Dixit in some way his lectures are not only knowledgeable but rather eye opening for instance our attraction towards western way of life (which i am not qualified to judge but somehow feel is backfiring in some ways in comparison with desi lifestyle) and how the most of MNCs are misleading consumers by their advertisements and what not.

The paste's ingredients also depends upon the small coloured line Which lies on the crimp of the paste.
If it is green it is completely natural
If it is red it's a bit harmful
If it is blue it can be used for medical purpose
If it is black it's purely chemical
Red means it is used for medicinal and treatment purpose

Noo that couloured lines are for printing purpose only. So that machines lock toothpaste at right position.

I used to brush my teeth with Colgate. But my mouth started smelling a few hours after brushing. By night it smelled like as if I have not brushed that day. Then my parents recommend me using their toothpaste which is Dabur Red and yeah I did notice some changes. So yeah Dabur Red is a very good toothpaste. And it broke my vision of seeing Colgate as the best toothpaste.

Iam dental student , as per my knowledge i have studied.....fluoride in small amount is necessarily required in tootpaste .B'coz it prevents Dental caries . But intaking in large amounts may cause Fluorosis.

SLS is what makes the toothpaste foam up so it can spread easily around the mouth, SLS is found in most cleaning products like toothpaste, shampoo, dish soap etc. Fluoride is what creates a protective layer on the enamel and it is found in everyday foods such as tea, spinach, grapes. Mouth sores will occur if you over use these products. The manufacturer legally has to put it as a warning just in case, that doesn't mean it will cause mouth sores. It's the same with cancer, almost everything you use, natural or not can cause cancer or become toxic if used in extremely large amounts.
I made my own toothpaste with cold press coconut oil, baking soda and rose water. It's so safe for our health. Thanks for the video!

When I used to use Colgate, i had to use a mouthwash after brushing my teeth, but when I started using Vicco, i have thrown away my mouthwash. Vicco is worth it!!

Hi Vivek, I follow for tuber closely and even before I watched this video, i switched to pure Indian toothpaste for only one reason “made/make in India” and avoided using foreign brands from past few years and since then slowly I switched to Indian made toothpastes. I remember using vicco’s tooth powder that came in small bottles when I was a kid.
After watching your video, I’m really happy that we should just stick to our Indian roots and not be a self-threat in the name of modernisation switching to “new brands”

Hello friends I really dont know who is this guy but after watching this vdo he said that vicco is the best so i purchased it. I would like to share that previously we used colgate total 4 many years,but few days my 5 year old daughter had tooth problem n she cannot use Colgate total as it is stronger she used to apply very less paste so I started searching best tooth paste on TH-cam so after this vdo i brought vicco tooth paste and believe me I really liked it,my daughter herself said that it dont hurt her teeth any more.guys I must thank to this guy who made this vdo and help us.god bless him

I don't know about other things but toothpaste of colgate, close up are clinically tested and proven. They have FDI certificate also which none of ayurvedic toothpaste has. Yes fluoride is toxic when taken more than recommended amount. That's for everything I know of if taken excess is toxic.

well I m a pharmacist and have formulated toothpaste many times and I want to mention one more thing is that sodium lauryl sulphate is a surfactant it is not as harmful as this man have described in this video
I used Baidyanath Neem toothpaste for 3 days and my gums started bleeding. It has sodium lauryl sulphate. Fit Tuber gives lot of good info. He will live up to 101 years.

I'm using Colgate toothbrush and dabur red toothpaste which is recommended by my dentist and when I checked ingredients I found that 3-4 toothpastes in my house leaving me has SLS.
