Dr. Taylor, you are so right about questioning why people turning to celebrities for guidance on anything other than acting. Ugh. Unless they can prove how they have credence, there's no reason to believe, follow, or change your beliefs because a "celebrity" says so. Yes, you are so right that education is the best source of information so we can each come to the best course of action for ourselves!

It would be confusing if it were not for you and this education! Thank you Dr. Barbie! Last night my hubby and I were looking at our subscriptions on youtube and nobody had any new videos. He said lets watch Barbie! I told him her videos come out on Tuesday he was disappointed! :) You are making an impact to so many people! I agree about the celebrities! I don't get it! Women do act like I am on heroin when I tell them I am on HRT! Only my husband is supportive! But women treat each other that way in general. I always had more guy friends partially because of that. Also because I was a dancer. In general also in modern culture people act like an enemy if you disagree with them you are a "hater" Thats just self love.I cant imagine being friends with a bunch of robots who agree with me. Glad you are so rational!

Aww! Such a blessing you are Dr. Taylor!💖
You are so right! I have seen during my menopause years such negativity in the groups you described. It's sad when women do this to eachother. Luckily I am surrounded by pretty positive and encouraging sweet ladies, including yourself. I know my worst enemy, and it's my specialist who I truly put my faith in only to end up with rejection, insinuating I was crazy, and most of all not caring at all for me! I am appalled by the physicians who push women out their doors with no options, no sympathy, no help what's so ever and blame their menopause on themselves. I have never in my entire life been treated un such a horrible manner. With all of your education you have been a beacon of light and hope for all of us women going through this time in our lives. I am still struggling with my menopause, but have gotten some positive people in my corner. I am still working on what HRT is going to work the best for me. There should be a charm school for doctors to attend on how to treat their menopause patients!!!! And I dont say that lightly! Truly it needs to happen. Too many women leave a doctors office just feeling defeated, and hopeless. I pray this changes soon! Much love to all you ladies!!! Stay strong! You are all beautiful inside and out!
Thank you Dr. Taylor! We love you!💖💖💖💖

I am so thankful ! Dr. Taylor, that I’ve found you! I got sucked in to the advertising Industry. One popular celebrity that started writing books. I was trying to do, what she was doing. Thought that it was the only way to manage my menopause. Then, I got sucked in too, being a lab lover. I was so confused. The doctor I had never asked how I was feeling or even cared about me. It was all advertising. Every time I walked out the door, my wallet was much lighter than when I walked in. I felt humiliated and angry. I went back to my primary doctor, he has helped me get back on track! Thank you! Again! For educating us!🙏❤️

I've hit a referral request for a NAMS gynecologist. I hope she accepts me....

As one who researches with an opposing view I really appreciate the truth exposed here. Monsanto FDA and those guys playboth sides. I really didn't know about these negative attitudes women have toward others and their management decisions because no one talks about menopause. So not cool. What I do see is many women I know are on non hormonal medications and a small handful using whatever alternative options work for them. This is good. It's probably due to my role in the community as an advocate so I run with a very non judgemental crowd that I see more encouragement. However friends can still be enemies for me as I also know people surviving on alcohol and junk food who really want to share.

I have just sent this to my two daughters in their 20’s and asked them to listen not just for their future menopause choices, but also to listen substituting the word menopause for any subject they so wish. I fantastic lesson in life to understand that (informed) choices are yours and your alone. If friends do not accept you have the right to make your own choices, which may be different, radical or minute from their own, then they are simply not friends. Good morning Barbie! I went to my hormone replacement dr yesterday & felt so much more knowledgable & prepared & less terrified...due to you & your book! My dr recommended testosterone pellet first (due to libido being non existent & causing issues & testosterone being low & estrogen & progesterone almost non-existent). I'm 5 yrs post menopausal & she said wait 2 weeks to see how much it raises my estrogen & if it's not enough, to eliminate all the symptoms & prevent disease, she said we'll add estrogen & progesterone. I wasn't prepared for that...I thought I'd probably get all 3. What do you think about this protocol? I was thrilled to hear her say I'd have to be on replacement for the rest of my life.

I feel them starting up and it is curious to me how it could be weather related? Any thoughts?

    • @MenopauseTaylor

There's no way to know if this is a transitional matter or a permanent one. It's also important to distinguish hot flashes due to menopause from thermoregulatory issues due to a thyroid problem.

If you’d like a more efficient delivery of this menopause education, you should (1) Get my book, or (2) Watch the webinars, or (3) Watch the DVD entitled Your Menopause Your Way. They all give you the complete education without the fluff of the videos. You can get any of these from my website, MenopauseTaylor.ME. And if you want the fastest track, schedule a consultation with me, and you'll get the education along with tailoring of it specifically to YOU. You can schedule a consultation at MenopauseTaylor.ME.
These videos cover only one piece of information in each video. That’s intentional. If you only use these videos to get your education, it will be very complete, but it will take a looooooong time.
