Anyway, I still love the Tuatara and I still believe in this car. I don't want to see over 10 years of hard work for Jerod Shelby going down... I really hope they will succeed in the 2nd record run!😉👍
@Boston 508617 don't care if it's not homologated as long as the top speed is real and confirmed. i see this as a win for ssc. Bugatti's 490kmh record proves that you don't need Guinness
He is not going to answer such a question, Christian is a gentleman. Peresonally I think the SSC can do it. The atmospheric conditions during the run -- cross-wind was a problem I heard -- made it very dangerous and is perhaps a reason they went with the unconfirmed/uncalibrated data. [edit:] a typo ..
I would love to see a Koenigsegg supercar in the future (not hyper, not mega) with track/travel purpose with pure petrol engine in large production. I would love to drive a car like this for my whole life before this romantic petrol era will defenitly end... It's not about numbers and performance, it's about emotion. And driving a mid engine car with Koenigsegg tecnology maybe 5/8 hundreds hp perfectly balanced, with no electirc motors, the light speed gearbox, and a trunk for few days travel would be a lovely dream.

One question I would have asked is if FreeValve will be able to be retrofitted on the Jesko engines.
He does have a point. Even in the US how many SSC brand cars are there in the road. Most American hypercar brands like Hennessey are unheard of.
