That looks like a pretty good deal. Can you do the ABS bleeding with it? (Like on a Prius where you have to cycle the ABS pump to bleed the brakes)

I am going to try one of these in the near future. I love the fact that it is not a cheap touchscreen android tablet. Regular screen, regular buttons, still a powerful tool. Everything these days doesn't need to be a smartphone.

That scanner is great. The first car you use it on it pays for itself. Is that allowable to be brought to copart. Anyway another great video. Have a good one.

For the Mazda with the airbag light on check to see if there was any recalls done on the airbags has a lot of them had a recall on the driver side inflator and a couple other miscellaneous airbag recalls and underneath the passenger seat check the junction box where the connections go to that and also the airbag passenger control unit underneath the passenger seat that to the sensors for the weight of the seat and all that and make sure every single connection is clean they have a tendency of get dirty / say where you need to clean the pins better and connection in and put it all back together and use some of the grease you use for your light bulb sockets on a connection before you slide them back in when he put it back together and reset it with the scan tool I had to do that on my Mazda CX-7 another word of try to stay away from Mazda that have the 2.3 turbo intercooler motor they have a lot of issues and if you do look at getting one with that motor make sure you check it over thoroughly the Turbo the timing chain and the air ventilation hoses.

Just received this and my check engine light and abs wont go off, abs blinks and comes right back, check engine light goes off then when i restart car comes right back on

I have a question: Im using a Win 7 and can't get the tool updated. Is anyone else having this problem? I download the Fx 4000 Exc file and extracted it. But after downloading it I run the application V2.0 Client update and nothing happens. I checked the box "launch application when finished installing" and nothing happens. I had the scanner hooked up to the computer. What do I do to update it? Also I can't seem to register the tool because I enter the S/n & Product Code but it says that its wrong, its not, I checked. I do understand that it says I need to register it before the update. I tried e-mailing the customer service, they seem to be of no help. Can this tool be used if I don't update it? Thanks
DELETE AND DOWNLOAD OVER THE FILE AND PLEASE GO TO SITE AND REGISTER

So for 250 it doesn't read manufacturers specific codes? Last few scanners I got from China none read manufacturers specific codes. Kind of pain in ass then you have to google the code.

Good question. I want to buy a nice OBD Scanner but I can't because I don't know if I should spend 200+ on something like this or just get the BlueDriver.

I have all the top of the range autel and launch scanners along with my snap on set up and I can't choose between them as they are very good and slightly different areas of specialist performance but my ancel fx6000 is not far off for what it can do for a 3rd of the price of the best known products
Mark Autow hey I came across this. How in depth is it? For instance, let’s say you get a cel for a ac system will it actually be able to give you the actual problem or will it give you a generic code where you still have to guess what the problem is ?
@@zfjohnson0007 it will give you a generic code in the first instance but then it will give you the specific code and information as you narrow it down, for example, generic low fuel pressure code then it will give you the specific code for a faulty fuel pressure regulator.

Yep, this doesn't do anything that a smaller, less expensive Actron can't do, and that's at least made by Bosch. If this thing was 500 bucks and offered bi-directional control, it would be a steal - something to undercut Launch.
yeah i am on a quest even if it costs me a bit to find out, i am wanting to find one that does all of the general stuff as well as allows you to reset SRS,ABS,TPMS and sensor re-learn hopefully for under $1,000.00 and not one that is system or brand specific like the tech 2 scanners are. i think i have a long, hard, on going possibly never ending search ahead of me.
I'll say this. I looked at the features of it and it looks damn good. This really could be all that you need. It has all 10 OBD2 tests and a whole bunch of other stuff. It covers things that your wondering about.
What about the FX6000? It supposedly does all of that and even ecm programming. I can't find any reviews on it or it in action anywhere quite yet.
Ancel FX4000 ans CRP129E all blong of intermediate DIY tool, you should think about Launch X431 Diagun /V and Autel MS908 if you do bi-directional control test or check more live data stream.
Do not buy, if you lose or break the lead or connector in a busy work shop they dont sell spares or give wiring diagrams so you have to buy another scanner
