    • @corndoghead1
      @corndoghead1 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      All that you said didnt really make an impact to me but when i got to "fully crewed tardis"
      It really made me feel happy.
      We know the doctor is alone even with companions but a fully manned tardis meants he trusted all of them to man the tardis and there is enough of them to man the tardis.
      At that moment he wasnt alone..

      Yeah man, i struggled all the way through Smith, haven't bothered with Capaldi.. hear he is okay though.
      Only two Smith got close in my view was his Rings of Akhaten speech, that had some real deep emotion on it and the Fields of Trenzilor was okay.

    • @gawabatnight
      @gawabatnight 7 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      +Jeffrey Sinclair capaldi is amazing. A bit rocky in season 8 because of bad writing, but really shines in 2-3 episodes in that season. Season 9 is just incredible, and season 10 is pretty good so far.

    • @amiraitallouache4377
      @amiraitallouache4377 7 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      The Moffat era doesn't really have that family-like feeling in my opinion, but Smith was amazing in his own way (even though I didn't like him at first) and Capaldi portrays the Doctor very well, but in Series 8 and 9 the writing was mostly pretty bad (with some amazing moments like the speech in The Zygon Inversion), but Series 10 was definitely the best of Capaldi's era for me.

    My favorite moment is at 2:16. Rose and Martha are hugging and the doctor breaks in for a three-way hug. It's so great to see Martha finally overcome her jealousy of Rose and it really feels like she's stopped living in Rose's shadow in this episode. The "Oh my God, he found you!" from earlier on always makes me tear up, too. I always wish we'd gotten a scene of Rose and Martha sitting down and having a nice chat over a cup of tea. :)

    "The music played in this section is a new arrangement of the 'song of the ood' composed by Murray Gold. Although this is not available to buy on cd yet the previous series have been released and it would be very likely that this would be the case with this series. However in previous series the release of the cd has waited to include music from the Christmas special." Many thanks to the BBC National Orchestra For Wales for the info listed above.

    No matter how many times I watch/ listen to this scene, it always makes me feel so happy. The TARDIS, pulling the earth back home... absolutely amazing :')

    Think about the complexity it took, to bring the earth back not only to it's exact position, but return it to it's precise orbit, and rotational speed, and keep it stable the whole time.

    Honestly, if the show would have ended on this episode, I would not have been disappointed. This was the best episode of the entire show, and if they ever do a grand finale of doctor who, I don’t think they’ll ever be able to do anything better than this episode. It is sheer perfection.

    I always fid it weird when scenes like this are in shows and movies, just imagine how it actually is, no music, nothing actually happening but you need to cheer and laugh and all that shit.

    Nothing screams "family" more than this scene. So much heart and soul were put into these episodes. The show really hasn't been as good since RTD left, although Moffat did occasionally come close like with Series 10, and Chibnall seems to be doing pretty well with how much of an improvement Series 13 has been so far. I'm just so glad that the best writer and showrunner has decided to return. Here's to another fantastic era!

    The best moment of all time. Of all the moments in the show, this was by far the best for any era. And the music Song Of Freedom made it so touching. Nothing can beat this victory, nothing.
