I would like to make this as a 5 stone ring and I seem to be running into trouble trying to do a proper curve from 2 views for the additional stones, because it's not a curve I can make from the right side view when the first side stone becomes the reference point. Any tips for using this method to make it a 5 stone? I'm also having one pipe end be, say, .6mm radius and then it tapers down to .5mm radius at the other end of the pipe, etc and so on. Thanks!

Is this a trellis Setting and if yes then why don't you make collate of these stones

I am assuming (roughly measured) that the Main Stone is 5mm (0.50 carat) and the side stones are 4mm (0.25 carat) so the Total carat of this ring is 1 carat? :)

You can use any desired size stone for this type of ring 3D modeling

Hi PJ, I have 6 years experience with 3Design CAD and Zbrush, I want to bridge over to Rhino to increase my knowledge of all things Jewellery CAD. Do you have a video on CADing with cushion and emerald cut stones?

It was long time ago when I made the video. I don't quite remember, but any size around 4-6 mm should work fine.
