    Great Video PJ! Super clever how you offset the profiles by pipe radius to make the piped cage match the bottom surface!

    Hi PJ !
    I was wondering if your lessons In the jewellery package are fast like this one? I can follow but sometimes it's going really fast. For free on TH-cam it's OK, but if I pay for the jewelery lessons, I hope it's more detailed.
    Thank you for all your great job.

    Hi PJ In order to get the wireframe pipes to boolean union I had to delete the 0.30mm piped cross sections and PIPED again with radius 0.31mm and it boolean union. Might help someone else, thought I would mention. Thanks very cool.

    Hi
    Is tolerance had to be doubled for boolean message cause problem while objects boolean after that message?
    Is it possible to explain that in your future tutorials?
    Thank you ❤️️

    • @PJChenJewelryDesign
      @PJChenJewelryDesign  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you have objects that is duplicated at the same place or share seams/edges. You could get the message. however, if the object after boolean is a close polysurfaces, you don't have to worry about it.

    If you want to make this ring in different sizes, do you scale up or down this design? Or do you start over for each size?

    • @PJChenJewelryDesign
      @PJChenJewelryDesign  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you don''t mind the thickness of wire increase or decrease. you can just 3D scale.

      @@PJChenJewelryDesign Thank you for your answer. I guess if it's going to be made from gold that you would redesign it, to keep the material costs down. Can you please make a video on how you make your renders, and also on how to render rose gold?

    but my model show too many wire with ununiform space, any idea how to make the space between the wire uniform and less?

    • @PJChenJewelryDesign
      @PJChenJewelryDesign  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      you may want to rebuild you cross session before making surface.

      Heres how I did it: I made the bottom 2 pipes .1mm larger radius than the other pipes, booleaned them to the vertical pipes, then sliced off the bottom half of the 2 bottom pipes. Then I used the 2 resulting trimmed edges as profiles to Sweep1Rail, thereby creating the smooth bottom half of the ring. Then join that surface to the 2 bottom pipes. Lastly I booleaned the rest of the pipes. I hope that is helpful! Cheers
