By far the best Olfa blade disposal case is an Olfa DC-2 (it's called Olfa 158K in japanese market). I recently saw a video from Olfa factory. Where this exact case being used to test how good different blades will snap off. This case is truly a heavy duty. Case features a durable metal slot to easily snap off up to 25mm blade size. The lid can be opened and DC-2 can safely hold even 60mm rotary blades. The stored blades can be discarded separately and reused.

So many choices lol. What would you recommend for a good 18mm all arounder utility knife?

check out the blade disposal boxes DC-2 and DC-5 from olfa instead, they are meant to be emptied though, but better suited for bigger blades.
And for flying blades, just extend only one segment to cut off, not two like you did on the video, and you'll see its better.
For small knives, 9, 12. and 18mm, I also bought the DC-6 case, which is nice on the office desk.

IMO the Stanley quick change is the best utility knife. I pull a raw blade out of my knife almost daily to use as a scraper. It’s great as a sacrificial tool for cleaning off glue, or scraping finish. Holds 5 blades in the handle too, also quick to access.

I found the NT Cutter model A-400GR to be superior to most if not all utility knives. The NT Cutter is made in Japan. Cast aluminum body.

Thanks for the tip. I hadn't ever heard of that brand, but now that I know what to look for I see them on Amazon Japan. I also found the full cast metal one on Amazon USA.

The combination of die cast aluminum, rubber, and stainless steel on the NT Cutter A-400GR is indeed very good but the lock/slider is not as strong as OLFA 9mm cutter knife.
The preset detents on the NT Cutter feel smoother but it also doesn't lock the blade as strong as OLFA especially OLFA XA-1 and the plastic part that hold the blade is also little bit thinner than the one on OLFA XA-1.

I didn't find the 12mm "Slim and Tough" but your link called it the 203BSB "All-Purpose M" which is the same as the Pilot Olfa 203BSB. No links for Olfa 12mm blades are included, only for Kai 12mm blades. Olfa also makes 3 knives for 12.5mm MTBB-10B blades: MT-1, XMT-1, and CS-5. None of the 12mm or 12.5mm knives are found at the Olfa website. The "Olfa Store" links at Amazon and Amazon Japan show products not found at the Olfa website.

Wow, yeah, what did I do here? Description doesn't match item. Fixing this now. Thank you.

@bzeug No worries, man! My real purpose was only to highlight that not all Olfa products appear on the Olfa official website. BTW, the 203BSB is actually 12.5mm also. I'm liking what I see with Olfa, I have a SVR-2 knife and have the SCS-2 scissors on their way to me. Great vids!
