  • Force USA has just announced their new all in on trainer- the C10 and it has some features that, seem to, trump all other all in ones on the market.
    In this video, I give my reaction to the announcement and take a closer look at the features of the C10.

    Rep fitness’s new Ares 2.0 definitely missed the mark not doing something similar with the adjustments on the functional trainer pulleys. Great feature.

      Any idea how much the bench is?

    It looks like the construction/metal quality will be more in line with the lower end models than the G15/20. It doesn’t say specifically but on the comparison tool the others say “commercial” and this doesn’t. Would make sense with the lower price

    Love to see a fly / peck deck attachment that hooks into the stack on the sliding bench!

    Great video Steve love your content! The question I have is why would some go for the C10 over the new G12 v2. Do you know why the C10 comes in cheaper than the G12 v2? I am torn between the two and don’t know which to buy!

    I was waiting for your review 👍. I literally just bought a G15 too... i hope the bench is compatible with my G15 lol.

      The G15 is still a great choice and I stand by my assertion that's it the "sweet spot" of all in ones.

      I love my G15, and as you know I bought it with your recommendation. I've chased up jammer arms as a standalone product but heard nothing yet. I'm really hoping that the foot plate could be used for the bench.. as this seems like a really nice feature. Keep up the good videos, Stevie... 👍.

    Hey Stevie, I’m having a difficult time trying to find out how to add a 2 1/2 lb plate or any fractional weight stack plate to the C-10. Customer service didn’t seem to know. You know the guys there, can you ask them how I can add an additional small amount of weight to the weight stacks?
    Thanks

      I’ll definitely pass this along and do my best.
      That’s one thing I didn’t test when I was out there. Sorry about that.

    Wonder how you can do pulldown with this.

  • @dgfreshx

    does the 1:1 on the low/high pulleys mean you get (2) 2:1 stacks for a total of 220 pounds, or (2) 1:1 stacks for a total of 440 pounds? 220 pounds doesn't sound like a lot for a hack squat, but 440 would be more than enough by far.

    • @StevieRichardsFitness

      On the bottom, the company stated you actually get a 1:2 ratio, making it the heaviest stack in their lineup.

    • @dgfreshx

      @StevieRichardsFitness I asked them directly and they confirmed its a 2:1, making it a total of 220 pounds. Food for thought. Still looks like an amazing system.

    How do you think the C10 compares to the Tytax S7?

      I’ll have to take a closer look at that product and will try to upload a comparison.

    What's the difference in commercial grade and non-commercial grade? Is it referring to the steel? I think commercial is 11, what would this be? Just got an email (5-14) that the C-10 is back in stock and ready to order!

    • @StevieRichardsFitness

      I believe the c10 is 12, but I’ll try to confirm with the company.

      @StevieRichardsFitness Will do!! Just watched your video on it as well! Very nice! I'm 6'2 as well, so I'm going to wait and see how you fit on the bench and inside. I'm pretty excited to see the bench in action!

  • @DrGordo33

    I am 6ft 2, do you think I would be able to do a lat pull down and get full range of motion on this machine?

    • @StevieRichardsFitness

      I don’t think if you are sitting on a bench to do them.
      When I had the G3, G6 and G15, I almost got full range, but not quite enough.
      The C10 has a little more height since the attachment point in the center is higher, but I’m still not sure it’s enough.
      I will have a hands-on review with the C10 soon and test that out.

      @@StevieRichardsFitness thanks for your comments! I really look forward to your detailed review of the machine for tall individuals. I will hold off on ordering my equipment until you have reviewed it, it would be great if you could comment on what would make you go for the C10 over the G12v2 and vice versa.

    A quick question about the pullies on Force USA products. Do you feel an aluminum pulley upgrade would be worth it? Thanks

    • @StevieRichardsFitness

      I’ve never personally tested that upgrade. Is there any insight you can give? I’d try my best to answer that in an upcoming video.

    • @anthonybrown5177

      I have been looking into a few diffrent brands, and a few of them offer what they call an "aluminum pulley upgrade", and from what I can gather, it's a wider and deeper pulley to keep the cables from slipping out and "quieter" than the nylon ones. I'm trying to "buy one, cry once" and this looks like the ticket. So just wondering if you have heard of such an upgrade for Force USA? I'm wondering if it's possibly a sales pitch because the pullies provided might not be the best with these other brands. Thanks for the reply

    • @StevieRichardsFitness

      I’ll ask the company if they have plans to offer that upgrade.
