Thank you for the kind words🙏 thats awesome that you're shredding again. Keep it going man. Let me know how the progress goes. Hope has some killer stuff i was thinking about getting some of their hubs on my next wheel build 🤟🤟
Sup Eric!!! Glad to hear that you like your Koozer hubs; They look and sound great as well. @ 03:16 - I love casing as well, I look forward to all my casing on the jumps I roll up to. That way I know my rear rim is strong and the rear suspension is working 🤪 , lol!! On a serious note congrats on the new hubs 🤙
thank you for this info. i have found a 26 inch wheelset in on line market. however, i couldn’t find any nice dj wheels. when i found a conversion kit for xm490 with 10x135 axle.
you can buy the conversion kit for 135x10 in aliexpress. i bought it from ali. i am so thankful to this youtuber. i got a lot of ideas and informations from him.
I assembly a Dartmoor Raptor 27.5" 30mm internal, 35mm external, 32 holes with this Koozer Xm490 hubs. I want buy another extra set of caps (9x100mm front 10x135mm rear) for dril from 5mm to 9mm front (DT swiss axle 9x100 or other..) and from 5mm to 12mm rear, because i want use bigger axle for more rigid wheels. For the rear Reverse made a 12x135mm axle with central diameter axle of 12mm and 10mm external diameter axle.
Hi Eric. Fellow Arizona native here and getting into the DJ scene at 46 (never too old)! I really like your videos and I was wondering if you can help. I have a Haro Thread Two And I am having a helluva time trying to get the right specs for the front/rear hubs. I do know that the current hubs that are on it are made by Pivit. I just need to know what kind of hubs they are in terms of specs so I can shop around for some better ones. I would really appreciate it !!! Keep up the great videos!
Yo thanks for the support. As far as the hubs I'm not sure I would have to see them in person to have an idea. Older hubs weren't boost so they are probably 100mm in the front and possibly 135mm in the rear. Not sure about the axle size though. Send me more info on Instagram
Take them to any good bike shop. They can measure the width, confirm the type of axle, and measure the axle diameter. Then you'll know exactly the type and size you need.
Hi bro, could you do a tutorial on the rear hub. Im thinking of getting them as a rear hub and my dropouts are 135x10mm. But i have no idea how to convert them. Please help!! Much appreciated!

How does the hub work on the rear? ive been needing a new hub for my dirt jumper but i really dont want to spend like 400 australian dollars on hub for my throw around bike
Glad I could help. I was looking online for a 10x135mm through axle and what I found were on ebay from China. Im not sure if there are companies about there who make them but I had success on ebay
I ask because I’m in the same situation with a specilaized p3 build. It’s 135/10. I found a smoking deal on a rear wheel that’s 135/12. Then found reducer axles on another site.
@@RydenDirty great, I'm still waiting for mine, i am gonna put them on my mtb as an upgrade from stock freewheel, hope it will last long 😂, ride safe bud
@@RydenDirty ohh, i hope they are still working fine. I've read koozer used to ship the hubs like this but I've bought two xm490pro in the last months and they came well lubricated with light grease. The grease reduces the 'loudness' of the hub but I prefer that to using them dry.

Hi, thanks for the video. I'd be super interested in how you converted the rear hub to a 10 mm bolt on axle!
I actually just drilled out the end caps
@@RydenDirty Can you not just take them off; do you have to drill them out?

Pretty handy trick with the end caps to get them to fit the frame

Please answer.is the koozer hub thus size what you ordered Thru front(100*15mm)+Rear(142*12mm)
Hey there, the front can convert to 100x15mm with the end caps. The Rear hub I got was 10x135mm
originally did the rear hub just come with a threaded and nut axle or can you just put one in there ?
It actually came with a quick release
That’s too cool! It’s looking bad ass
Thanks broskie🤟🤟🤟
👍waiting for next review dude.. stay safe..!🚴🏻♂️
For sure 👍 actually rode it yesterday and it was feeling real good

It's like a thru axle that threads on one end
@@RydenDirty may you send me a link to see how it looks Like? Can any brand fit any 135x10?

I'm not sure to be honest. The shop that did the work closed down😔
That's what up brother 👌🏼😎
They are sexy bro👊
Is there a different link for the hubs? I clicked it and it said product not found :(

Couldn’t you buy a 12mm to 10mm reducer axle?
