It’s easy to judge once the full outcome is known, but those who comment only afterward often miss the nuances and pressures of the situation as it was unfolding. True insight and respect for others’ decisions mean recognising this reality and resisting the urge to armchair quarterback. Judging others after the fact doesn’t contribute anything meaningful. @lfk5599 so does that mean jose didn't deserve to lose his job? Jose getting sacked has nothing to do with Ten Hag, Ole took over from Jose. It was a different ownership running the club, and the only thing that saved Ten Hag is the fact that only Pep has won more than him since he's been in the Prem. Had Ten Hag lost that final he would have been sacked. Nobody would be surprised if Ten Hag lost his job.
@lfk5599 Jose has achieved far more in football than Ten Hag ever will but that doesn't mean anything. He sabotaged himself, fell out with everybody and deserved to be sacked. Who's in charge now doesn't change that.
Biggest mistake was not appointing Mourinho right away after Sir Alex retired. He came in at the wrong time, but still did better with a worse team. Manchester United was the club Mourinho wanted to commit to a long term project. Everything him and Ronaldo said about the club is true. United is rotten within.
