Gotta agree with Brianna future Barry's message probably has to do with the 4-way crossover. Whatever threat is big enough to unite the Legends with Team Arrow, Team Flash and Supergirl must be serious that future Barry sends them a warning message. Probably because he learned his lesson with flashpoint Barry's not willing to time travel again so instead he sends the warning to Rip since as a professional time master he would know how to deal with the situation but is unaware Rip is currently missing. So when the crossover does happen Jax and Stien will share what they learned to everyone and they'll all unite against whatever future Barry told them.
"Why don't you just stab him in the face?" "It's the CW, we don’t do that..." Someone clearly hasn't been watching the 100 where they have done far worse things.😂
Join the club, ladies; I ADORE the Samurai. Kurosawa movies, Samurai Pizza Cats, Rurouni Kenshin, Samurai Jack, The Last Samurai, Momotaro. All that is what got me into loving Samurai culture
I think this was probably one of those predestination events though, because they more than likely saved the ancestor of Maseo Yamashiro as well as the Katana sword, which we were introduced to on Arrow S3. Besides, isn't the shogun sort of a local warlord and not a major historical figure? (only known to super history nerds like Nate) I'm sure the power vacuum was just filled without too much disruption. I wonder if the history books record that the shogun was killed by gaijin who came out of nowhere and if Nate knew that.
I would assume since Maseo Yamashiro and the Katana sword existed before they went back in time that them killing the shogun had nothing to do with that. On the other hand the shogun's death could cause a lot of problems. Like does someone worse rise to power. The whole first season they were talking about doing as little as possible so as not to mess up the timeline. Now they're killing people who are at least important enough to be written about in history books.
Shogun is a pretty big deal. A Shogun was the defacto ruler of Japan, not just a local lord. And Tokugawa Iemitsu was a pretty big deal. Ruled long, and well, and started the policy of isolation. And killed his gay lover. Yeah, this dude was gay. Also, he made his brother commit sepukku, AFTER he (Iemitsu) was on the throne and Masako was his sister (married to the Imperial Prince of Japan). This would be a blunder of outstanding proportions for any time travellers. Without him, Japan never closes off its ports and modernises much much earlier. And Japan would be Christian.
What if the outsiders killing the shogun causes his replacement to also start the policy of isolation? What if his gay lover somehow became the new shogun instead basically ruled it the same way? At least now we know why the guy killed all his wives.
The Disco Stu The Shogunate was hereditary, and Iemitsu never killed his wives. His son inherited the throne. No one else apart from Tokugawa clan could become Shogun at that point, and if Tokugawa fell (it was likely) then there were enough people at that time who remembered when Tokugawa weren't Shogun. Most likely another Civil War would have had broken out causing horrific causalities on the local populace, just like it had in the Sengoku Jidai (2 generations earlier). These first 3 Tokugawa Shoguns were smart and had laid out policies to ensure that civil war never broke out. Iemitsu (the third one) had implemented the final policy which finally destroyed any chance of civil war. So much so, that Shoguns then ruled unchallenged till 1868.
You would have to be a complete "Baka" not to enjoy the FR Girls' reaction to the Chuck Norris episode of Legends of Tomorrow. The LOT crew visits ancient Japan to rescue a couple of "idiots overboard" namely Ray and the new born Citizen Steel. Nick finds Ninjas are real. Ray discovers his suit is too user friendly and must sacrifice his claim to be a superhero to save Japan from a mad man. Sarah and the stowaway Vixen show they are more than a match for Samurai. Stein and Jacks discover a secret compartment and an ominous message from Barry 2056. Great fun for our reactors and especially Hana who is the resident expert on Japan. Shout out to you girl!
When Ray said he designed his suit so that any idiot could use it, did anyone else totally flash back to when Felicity uses his suit to save Oliver? Felicity is an idiot by association lmao
I don't know if there was any point of Stein and Jax telling Sara about Barry's message. She is the only member of the original team who has never met him before. Not as Barry nor as The Flash
i have a few issues with Steel/colossus rip off... He seems far too clean and heroish for the Legends. So far with every character on the team they've worked really hard to make them nuanced and individual compared to superhero cliche's. Everyone is A: Very human with human weaknesses B: Have clearly defined personality issues that make them more fallible, more messed up and more entertaining and C: Avoid going into areas which have already been seen before with other superheroes (The only exception I can think of is the atom suit which is basically walmart brand Iron man most of the time and Ant man is they have the budget but they hold back on its use for exactly that reason and now have blown it up so he can probably build a better one) Now the problem with Steel is that he doesn't have any of this. Starting off with A, while he starts off with the clotting problem thats gone now and basicly follows the line of every superhero who was "i was weak and now I'm strong" and his only personality weakness is niavity which we already get in spades from Ray. B: he gets control he is a super strong, super resistant metal guy with no downsides. Even in human form he now has aparently got a healing factor. This is sad as from the wealth of source material on this version of the character they could have given him more downside and personality and fallibility as in the comics he was metal ALL the time (ok don't have to follow that bit) but also with the metal and the fact his organs were metal too he weighed so much he crushed floors under him and he also had no control over his strength so crushed anything he touched and therefore needed a special suit to contain his strength. He also couldn't feel anything through the metal (hot/cold/pain/human contact) any of those could have made him much more interesting and fitted in better with the crazy nature of the team... C: colossus rip off says it all
Maybe we'll see more of him as the season goes on. We've only known him for literally 3 episodes. The other characters we've known for several seasons.
R.I.P Snupe it was more therapeutic than anything. Like the girls I reacted to the episode and the whole time I was thinking... This guy doesn't mesh for some reason. Square peg, round hole etc. Just putting it into words... Tbh they could have grabbed Girder from the Flash and it'd be the same character with more personality
HexBug 97 This guy is basicly Girder, who was beaten by Flash, under the instruction of Reverse Flash posing as Wells. So what threat does he actually pose to Reverse Flash who's already experienced that AND seen Girder die and doesn't have to pretend to be in a wheelchair?
Isn't Caity Lotz a Legit Badass? omg she did everything herself no stunt double
She's amazing.
now that Sara is the captain of the waverider, that means one thing..
"Captain Canary"
Dang, I love Sara as a samurai. She kills it.

+nightwingman666 and here we are now 3 months later with your prediction right
The Japanese family they saved are ancestors of Katana
Masako is the descendant of Katana (Tatsu Yamashiro).
Thanks for clearing that up.
JIVOTH MasterMinds Ancestor* im sorry it just really bothers me when people get descendant and ancestor mixed up
haha yes Ancestor.
We're professionals. NOT! XD
***** HAHAHA!
3:20
"Ahm givin' er all she's got, capt'n!"
XD
"Why don't you just stab him in the face?"
"It's the CW, we don’t do that..."
Someone clearly hasn't been watching the 100 where they have done far worse things.😂
1:35-2:37
Is it just a trend now for Ray to get kidnapped every episode?
Join the club, ladies; I ADORE the Samurai.

Ughhh I wish I had a girl like Hana that watched these shows with me :(
Hannah's face @4:34 hahah she's lost in another world
Awesome 00:01 of the video
Why did Ray design his suit to be used by an idiot?! You're travelling to times filled with savage idiots!
Also, I love that Mick can kick ass.
Something you ladies should know. The old man in the episode...is Katana's ancestor
Lost was not all a dream, Everything that happened happened.
How many years later and everyone on that sofa thinks Lost was ALL a dream 😓
These guys are fucking up time so hard. Killing the shogun seems like a pretty big deal.

Also, the man playing Masako's dad is Uncle from Jackie Chan Adventures :)
Steele reminds me of the silver surfer and Colossus combined only better.
When Ray said he designed his suit so that any idiot could use it, did anyone else totally flash back to when Felicity uses his suit to save Oliver? Felicity is an idiot by association lmao
Barry's message, to be continued.
I don't know if there was any point of Stein and Jax telling Sara about Barry's message. She is the only member of the original team who has never met him before. Not as Barry nor as The Flash
Hadn't noticed that.
Ashwin Swamy doesn't matter. what matters is the content of the message, not weather she knew him or not. And she's the captain now, she should know.
No one reacted to the fact that the Japanese family are Katanas ancestors?!
This show now has two Rays.
u guys should react 2 the short film "sidekick!!!" Tom Cavanaugh and Emily Bett Rickards are in it and it's a really good/emotional short film!!!
too bad they didn't catch that the sword is katanas's sword

Callum Armour was writing all that necessary? 🤔
Callum Armour plus they need someone that can stand up even a little to reverse flash
R.I.P Snupe it was more therapeutic than anything. Like the girls I reacted to the episode and the whole time I was thinking... This guy doesn't mesh for some reason. Instead of steel on maybe hard on? LOL
I'm at work rigth now, but I'm not working.... I'm watching your reactions. yeah!
Atleast u girls call em HARAMBAE
why did you cut the Yamashiro scene out?😮 I cant imagine that you didnt care about it...
If it's because she's supposed to be the ancestor of Katana, I think maybe they just don't realize it yet when watched the scene
So when you all stop talking, we for once learned nothing. How ironic.
I'm early let me say something......Hi
