10:48 well actually Jingles a few year a go you posted video title “of secondary importance” we’re someone in a GK got a kraken using only hi- Jingles why are you holding a shot gun
One fast battleship screaming around the edge of the map to force the enemy team into a brutal crossfire is definitely a foolhardy and outrageous idea that relies on almost the entire enemy team being committed to pushing forward into the centre, AND demands serious survivability from the battleship in question just to pull it off as well as coordination from the rest of the team. Now, _two_ battleships doing this shit simultaneously from both sides in a pincer movement might just be crazy enough to work. If you got the right BBs. And players with nerves of steel.
true - put the other team between a hydraulic piston/hammer and something unmoving and relentless, That Annapolis moved from a place there it was protected from being shot at by multiple players to somewhere he didnt have any protection..... That together with the Chiang Mu's big miss at the beginning did decide this.
"The difference between a bold attack and a stupid attack is that a bold attack succeeds." Not sure where I've seen that line - might be somewhere in Hearts of Iron IV?
I mean comparing this to that legendary reply with the t95, it lasted about a month that not just 95s, but pretty much evey heavily armored td charged across the field, trying to replicate it. (hell I saw a death star try once) So jingles, if its a true repeat of history, its not just the schlieffens, its gonna be any secondary focused bb you've inspired hahaha!
You know, this might have been a foolhardy way to play, but it was effective. The enemy had to re position themselves to deal with this Schlieffen and some appear to have been caught off guard. Too many games (almost all) involve ships being stealthy, using islands as cover and generally trying to be sneaky. This leads to long boring games. Instead, Tweak took the fight to the enemy, caused chaos and won the game. Brilliant
It helped he wasn't doing it alone. If the Izumo and others hadn't followed him, it would have been a lot shorter. That said, he certainly inspired his team.
Actually Jingles the real T95 *is* the T28 with or without the extra set of tracks. The T95 Gun Motor Carriage was renamed to Super Heavy Tank T28 in 1946 since self propelled guns were normally light. Edit: Also Jingles, GK is now a special ship as she was replaced by Preussen
True mate, a great analogy for the US economy, massive lumbering and combat ineffective but still enough to make any enemy shit their pants and the glorious sight of the red white and blue painted 86 metric tonne freedom delivering doom turtle lumbering across the field at 12 KPH.
To expand upon this, the T28 was the designation of the vehicle when it was classified as a heavy tank. It was then renamed T95, which was a SPG designation, then renamed back to T28. This is from wikipedia: "The near 100-ton vehicle was initially designated a heavy tank. It was re-designated as the 105 mm Gun Motor Carriage T95 in 1945, and then renamed in 1946 as the Super Heavy Tank T28."
T28 as portraied in WoT is stupid. The secondary tracks where only removed for transport. Driving around without them would severly damage the drivetrain from excessive weight.
The greatest thing about Schlieffen is that it has Graf Zeppelin's entire secondary armament, on each side of the ship. Schlieffen is the apex predator of secondary builds, a call back to the olden days of brawling. Imagine if this thing had come out back before WeeGee gutted brawling?
Wg gutted AP.... which negated the entire benefit of outpositioning your enemy so much of the time... it used to be...get caught broadside = death... nowdays its often better to turn broadside than be angled slightly... sad.... Schleiffen does bring some of that back, on SEA server most plaers just dont know how to push and use angles, so you are almost always alone doing it, but still fun! :)
Wow.... the stars aligned for this one. But, ,,, do you remember when Jingles said "Never go up the middle on the Two Brothers map." Then that whipper snapper went and made a meme out of doing it. You can bet,,, someone will be trying this.
An alternate way to look at not maneuvering to avoid the torps: those torps seemed to be aimed to catch him coming tight around the island and were spotted far enough out to be able to tell. By not evading, he DID evade!
What the heck have I just watched? That was the most entertaining WoWs battle in a while. Also, there were seven tier 9s on the enemy team. You made a video a while ago called OF Secondary Importance where the same thing happened by the way.
An easy to explain how the T95 succeeded in that match is explaining what it was built to do. It was designed to go up against the Siegfried Line a giant defensive line of bunkers, cannons and other defenses on the German border. The T95 was meant to bust through that.
Actually Jingles, you showed a G.K. replay that also got a Kraken with only close quarter experts in the past. Video is called "of secondary importance" and is from January 4th 2019.
Proper way to Schlieffen is to play it exactly like this, full secondary/stealth build, with the Brisk skill, so it can do 39.4kts on a straight line while undetected. I've had some absolutely disgusting games in it, like a 300k ranked game.
He wasn't suicidal Jingles, one of his Crew just happened to break the accelerator in the "all ahead Full" position at the start of the match, and they needed a dry dock to fix it.
This is how you properly drive a German BB, the captain wasn’t suicidal he knew exactly what he was doing. It started when the enemy destroyer smoked up next to the island, that dictated everything. It gave him a path, cover, and the ability to get close unseen. The enemy destroyer gave him an open and he exploited the hell out of it. Very well played o7
and he used speed to deny the other side time to adapt and so creating confusion in the enemy team (and on his own side too probably .) Hey team : the train leaves now !
yeah i remember that WOT game, i also remember the Doomturtle player posting in chat "witness the worlds best scout" right before he made the dash through the field.
Best thing ever. A Div of 3 secondary specced Schlieffens.... 3 matches, just push W and watch enemy team run away as fast as possible, showing briadsides to rest of your team.

I set my German BB up for secondaries after getting slammed by too many DD and Cruiser torps. I think this guy was thinking the same thing. You can't dodge, outrun, or shoot down torps, so you have to kill them before they launch. Now when you see any German BB rushing forward you should assume he's trying to kill you with his secondaries. The only thing I'm scared of is the British DDs with the single fired torps. The can line up on your bow and take you out.
I already donated to Ukraine through UNICEF (there was a matching offer too good to pass up) but I am glad to see content creators I go to for entertainment also stand up for what is right. Thanks, Jingles!
Yay! Another Jingles video! Also, without getting into those fiddly details, thank you for the fundraiser option Jingles. I've donated before, but I'm proud to donate again.
A perfect example of using subversion of enemy expectations to completely flip all strategy on its head and use the ensuing chaos to create an advantage.
Jingles, I’m only coming back for a second comment, post-video, to say that your video will only INCREASE the number of Schlieffens suicidally pushing the flanks like one did on my team only a few hours before you posted this. 😂 German BBs amirite?
This is actually the exact way how I play my Gneisenau. In my defenition "works out" is if I get at least 1 kill and 50k damage. With these results it works out about 75% of the time. Just charge, never stop.
4 enemy cruisers and DDs on 1/4 health (and they don't have heals at T7) in exchange for your one ship often is enough to win the battle - and it's stupid fun as well. The trick is figuring out where a clump is hiding and hitting them broadside.
@@juriszzzgaming8837 Well, Scharnhosrt, but essentially the same ship in terms of point-blank secondary fun :) When in doubt in an online game, just ask yourself, what would Mr. Torque do? ;)

that was glorious. I have done something similar with my Bismarck. LMAO this is exactly the kind of crazy nonsense I love to do. And have done on a regular basis. I have to say though, Jingles is right - 90+% of the time you will melt away having done very little damage. But when it works, it is GLORIOUS! I blame my habit of pushing in and brawling, even in inappropriate ships, to the fact that my first tier 10 was a GK… And picking a Paolo Emilio has only made things worse!
Sometimes unconventional plans work out really well. I was playing the 2 brothers map with a clan mate. I was a Prinz Eugen and he was a Baltimore. 3 seconds before the match started he said "let's go down mid" and me looking for some entertainment said "sure why not XD". As we approached the middle canal our team was clearly concerned "Isn't it a bit early for mid?" And "you both are gonna die". Anyway we reach the enemy cap and just dip towards the edge of the cap enough to take it, as we do their whole team is broadside to us firing at the left and right flanks. So we load AP and I sunk 3 ships. Was getting about 9k salvos on battleships all while bow tanking their entire team I did die but my buddy kept going and I think got 2 ships. The rest of our team was like "god damn I didn't think that would work". Both the left and right enemy flanks we're retreat img back to spawn to reinforce their spawn cap but our team was pushing both flanks simultaneously and just obliterated them it was a great game.
I do remember that battle on Malinovka. But IIRC, premium - or Gold - ammunition was actually available. He was just lucky that 1. the enemy team was, well, suffice to say that they weren't the best. 2. There was no artillery in that battle. Nice battle in any case.
What an incredible replay! Probably your best one ever, Jingles! This guy has a set of solid brass balls as big as cannon balls for pulling off a stunt like this! As Jingles say: If it is crazy and stupid but it works; it's not crazy and stupid! 😆😆😆😆 Poor dutchie got bitch slapped so hard, his grandmother is going to feel the pain!
well this one is a mixed bag. on one hand, the minn, sort of blew that fight, had the minn, been halfway capable, the schleffin, would have been dead before he rounded that island, however he kept shooting at saturated ship with that ap, which kept the schleffin in it, i know, I've used the saturation mechanic in the schleffin's favor vs overmatch, the minn should have tried to alter his aim a bit, a good volly against non-saturated ship probably would have finished him. I can't blame the chun mu too hard for those torps. usually people turn into torps, he aimed those expecting the schleffin, to turn in the moment he saw the launch. what he didn't expect was the schleffin ignored the launch. the rudder shift is pretty poor on the schleffin, so had he started a turn in before seeing the track of the torps, he would have died to them; once the minn was dead this thing was basically done. the schleffin played the rest of the match correctly. when you get on the flank in one of these german bbs, use that speed and just mow em down. still the italian bb and annapolis were the last ships who could have stopped him, and with the annapolis showing terrible situational awareness and the italian bb trying to "close" the distance to the schleffin both of those fights were basically predetermined. both should have tried to kite him, the sap on the italian and the he on the annapolis would have ended him in
I do in fact remember watching that OLD video of the t95 Bonzi charge. DAME this guy just GAVE ZERO FUCKS about what was in front of his ship. And the more surprising thing in this video is HIS TEAMMATE FOLLOWED HIM! Seriously try this in a random battle and you wil look behind you to find all your teammate still bunkering in their positions and then you get REKT by everyone all around you.
Asia server - guaranteed you won't make it half way to the cap before being melted into the water. And your entire team turning around and racing for the other side of the map.
I believe the Schlieffen has become my favorite. The torpedoes seem to take a lot by surprise. I do well with them and the guns are nice. You just have to realize that it can't do much tanking at all.
You featured a GK replay a long while ago that got a secondary kraken back when manual secondaries only targeted 1 ship. Still good to see German engineering at its finest.
This kind of game is the dream of all German Battlecruiser/Battleship captains with secondary builds. It makes us happy in our pants when we get all our secondary batteries firing. It honestly makes me sad more battleships don't have this kind of bliss connected to them (I'm looking at you, Italian BB's). The only other thing I can think of is one of the Japanese BB's with super large caliber guns deleting someone across the map in one salvo.
What jingles forgets to mentions, is that T-95 battle came out maybe 9 years ago, and there weren’t that many tanks that can pen its armor as there are now
This seems to be the current meta for schlieffen play, as I have seen too many schlieffens attempt to do what tweak did. It is not surprising given the range of the secondaries compared with the low consealment of the schlieffen..
Jingles: "Don't attempt this at home!"
Schlieffen captains: "You need to speak up. Can't hear you over these 2ndaries!"

LMAO this is exactly the kind of crazy nonsense I love to do. And have done on a regular basis. I have to say though, Jingles is right - 90+% of the time you will melt away having done very little damage. But when it works, it is GLORIOUS!
I blame my habit of pushing in and brawling, even in inappropriate ships, to the fact that my first tier 10 was a GK… And picking a Paolo Emilio has only made things worse!
i don't play either game. I just like your commentary on a match. You make it way more exciting than I thought it could be to play.
I definitely still remember that legendary T28 Super Heavy 105mm Gun Motor Tank Carriage T95 game.
(Bases covered, hopefully)
Das war ein besonders schöner! Danke, Jingles :-)
Jingles: please don't play like this
Schlieffen: haha secondaries go brrrrr
The player has balls as big as the atonium in Belgium 🤣🤣 love his badass tactics
Well jingles, now you'll see many schlieffen's, GK's and Preussen's charging the flanks
I do remember that battle on Malinovka. But IIRC, premium - or Gold - ammunition was actually available. He was just lucky that 1. the enemy team was, well, suffice to say that they weren't the best. 2. There was no artillery in that battle. Nice battle in any case.
This is exactly how I attempt to play every game with the Schlieffen. I get 25% ish good games and that's worth it for me.
Thanks Jingles
I'm more impressed by the 22 to 1 hit ratio between secondary and primary guns.
Glorious secondary Kraken!! Very nice!
10:00 - like 20 seconds later.
Thats why I love that man :DDD
What an incredible replay! Probably your best one ever, Jingles! This guy has a set of solid brass balls as big as cannon balls for pulling off a stunt like this! As Jingles say: If it is crazy and stupid but it works; it's not crazy and stupid! 😆😆😆😆
Poor dutchie got bitch slapped so hard, his grandmother is going to feel the pain!
Ahh Campinovka. I did do that more than once with the Doom Turtle and its tier X sibling. Works more often than it doesnt.
well this one is a mixed bag. on one hand, the minn, sort of blew that fight, had the minn, been halfway capable, the schleffin, would have been dead before he rounded that island, however he kept shooting at saturated ship with that ap, which kept the schleffin in it, i know, I've used the saturation mechanic in the schleffin's favor vs overmatch, the minn should have tried to alter his aim a bit, a good volly against non-saturated ship probably would have finished him. I can't blame the chun mu too hard for those torps. usually people turn into torps, he aimed those expecting the schleffin, to turn in the moment he saw the launch. what he didn't expect was the schleffin ignored the launch. the rudder shift is pretty poor on the schleffin, so had he started a turn in before seeing the track of the torps, he would have died to them; once the minn was dead this thing was basically done. the schleffin played the rest of the match correctly. when you get on the flank in one of these german bbs, use that speed and just mow em down. still the italian bb and annapolis were the last ships who could have stopped him, and with the annapolis showing terrible situational awareness and the italian bb trying to "close" the distance to the schleffin both of those fights were basically predetermined. both should have tried to kite him, the sap on the italian and the he on the annapolis would have ended him in
Thanks Jingles.
It's about time for jingles to watch and hear history about the Schlieffen and the German Schlieffen plan at the same time 🙂
If this was NA, I used to be in that clan when I was playing. A great bunch of insane guys.
You just have to realize that it can't do much tanking at all.
yeah the torp angles allow for some sneaky fun... i dont think people realize how great the torp angles are
@@martinpalmer6203 imagine a Grosser Kurfurst with Schlieffen torpedoes.
What jingles forgets to mentions, is that T-95 battle came out maybe 9 years ago, and there weren’t that many tanks that can pen its armor as there are now
Pretty sure I did.
This seems to be the current meta for schlieffen play, as I have seen too many schlieffens attempt to do what tweak did. It is not surprising given the range of the secondaries compared with the low consealment of the schlieffen..
its the 400,000 dps secondaries that sort of encourage it, your mains are the complimentary damage
Haha I knew you were going to make a video with this title! wp old man!
