Hi Sara! I'm happy for you and also for your new experience "the boat" in 2019/2020 I had a kind of same experience I invested all my money in a Jamaican restaurant in my home town the business was doing very well but the COVID-19 destroyed everything so it was so hard to raise again but everything happens for a reason so never give up and fly high wish you the best and say hello to Aitor I had the best time in Mexico with you guys good luck
Wow, great video! Long time subscriber and fan of your channel here, and I applaud your journey. It makes me rethink my corporate life in Manhattan to just follow my passion and take risks and endure it all, the good and the bad. Thank you so much for sharing 🙌
Thank you for being here! It’s definitely scary to take the leap into inconsistent pay, challenging work environments, etc, but it’s an interacting path, for sure!🤣😅
Hi Sarah - what a poignant and beautiful video. Thank you for sharing your heartfelt thoughts and experiences. You inspire❣️ Please name your new boat: Abby … got to get my name vote 🗳️ in each and every opportunity! lol 😝
Life is one step at a time. It is ok to fail. The only thing we can’t do is stop. Life does not stop, if one stops, life just drag you with it. It does not need to be fast, we just need to continue moving.
Thank you, Sarah. It's truly tragic that you lost such an amazing dream. Stories like yours need to be told. So many people lost their life dreams due to the oppressive measures. I also spent the lockdowns in Indonesia, and it was very difficult for foreign investors. Only the larger dive centers with reserves could survive two years without business. It's only this year that things have returned to pre-COVID levels. I admire your strength and positive attitude-you still have plenty of time to realize your dreams in an even better, more exciting, and fuller way.
Seriously... I always thought the saying was: "Don't fall in love with a ski instructor" !! 🤣 As always, nice dive sequences...👍 Putting the COVID pandemic aside... two questions.... 1. Anything you would have done differently when starting the dive business? 2. Ever consider starting a new business venture where you would need to hire employees? Hasta La Vista!
Haha I think the same applies to any nomadic soul 🤣 as for your questions… I would’ve been more discerning about who I go into business with. Money changes people and you need to know all business partners are on the same page with how finances are understood and budget is followed. That being said, no I don’t plan on opening a physical location again.
WOW! your creativity is definitely on full blast right now...awesome flick! Glad you made it thru that rut...finding that low stress job has always been my goal...I feel like I wasted so many years chasing my career job yet I just wanna slow down & try to enjoy living life in simplicity. I don't think it is possible in the US, but maybe it is...seems you can never get away from untimely expenses, stress, or the hate...SIMPLE living is what I need, but with all of my projects I will probably be too old to get it all done. LOL! Anywho, cheers! ;)
It's definitely not the norm in the US, but it is possible if you're interested in alternative housing options. Rent is just too crazy in most of the country to get out of the rat race...
I am so sorry for this project to go haywire. I had the idea of building an eco resort on a Panamanian island and also had to digest this not working out as planned. I am still having this crazy island dream - don't you, too?
@@AzulUnlimited thanks for the answer, appreciated. I was irritated that the friend could not make time for you, that would have hurt me, if I was you in that situation. I keep recycling the idea of my own dive shop, but I fear to lose all my savings (maybe I don’t even have enough and I am delusional…lol). I feel so caged in the office job, but I have no pension so I have to find something I can keep doing beyond the typical “we don’t want you anymore” age. 😬

Great story, you were never lost, you didn't pay attention to your inner self
No but sometimes it’s hard to see/understand the path when you’re sad 😊
So moving, the story and the images.

Hola! What kind of regulator are you using?
They are from Nex Underwater Products!

Nope. That situation was traumatic enough to get it out of my system🤣💙
