I have one of the original ones where the battery compartment is on the bottom. The original model came with the low level pic rail mount and I see this does not. Price is still the same though... Remember this because in a couple years when you pay the same price or possibly more for the "newer" 507C it wont have the extra screws or the tool with it and you will have to supply the battery from the get go. Good optic though as mine has been through a lot and been on several weapons.
@@vazcota101 The original one switched from dot with ring to just dot to just ring. Basically is the same as the gen 2 but with the battery compartment accessible from the side instead of the bottom. I have no idea why they would design it like that but my RMR battery is located on the bottom and its new so I guess they like to mess with us.
I agree, I skipped ahead the other day on a 2min video that had over 1min of blasting into a dirt birm at 3yrds. I think the creator just liked to look at himself shooting.
For some reason I’m having an issue with mine not turning off after the 10 minute auto shut off. Another issue I’m having is when I turn it off and back on the reticle is way to dim. I have to adjust it myself. This is all on auto mode as well. I have another Holosun 407k that does not allow me to adjust the brightness in auto mode but my 507c does.
So I’m having issues putting back my Holosun on the 10 min sleep mode I hold it for 10 seconds and blocks 4 time I don’t know how to activate it back any tips ?
So I have a glock 17 with an RMR cut and I just ordered this holosun 507c . Will it screw directly onto my slide right out of the box ? Or do I need to buy a plate first then screw the plate to my slide and then the red dot ? I'm new to all of this pistol red dot stuff . If anyone can let me know it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for the video !

You will need optic plate. Recommend CHP optic plate
