Yu-Gi-Oh GX is unironically my favorite Yu-Gi-Oh series because of how dark it gets. There's also surprisingly good character moments and trope subversion in the Japanese version.
It's a serious trip how utterly wacky and bonkers GX starts off and how dark it gets by the end. The show went from an episode with someone playing a wedding themed deck in season 1 to genocide in season 3. That's an even bigger mood whiplash than Zexal.

To be honest Jaden just didn't really connect with people during his time at the academy. He was already a traumatized kid with trouble at making friends because of Yubel basically killing anyone that made him sad. Then his friends pretty much used him as a Fix It Guy because they were busy with their own problems to really connect with the guy. I don't blame the guys that much but until Johan came nobody really wanted to get to know Jaden for being, well Jaden. On season 4 I think Jaden just let them try to fix their own problems because he was tired of being unintentionally treated as a plot device. Everyone in GX needs to have a heart to heart with him to Start being friends like what he had with Johan. But that's just my opinion :)
You can say anything about Jaden but remember he was the MVP in the duel against Paradox, in a tag duel WHERE Yusei, Yugi AND Atem were also part of it.
Funny thing about Jaden's hair looking like a Kuriboh. Kuriboh is the first hand trap, one that stops you from taking damage from an attack. Kuriboh is a hero.
Never understood how BBT worked. Jaden can use Yubel and the Haou, indicating it’s post season 3 and that it has to be after season 4 because Jaden likes dueling again, yet he doesn’t seem to know Yugi.
Yugi still had the ability to become the Pharaoh in the Jaden vs Yugi duel, which is why the duel most likely didn't happen for real, and was some sort of hallucination.

I know LK originally came up with the joke about GX being a bunch of rap artists, but who started the "absolutely flawless" line? I know a couple of DSI's running jokes made it into BBT Abridged, like Jaden's Cheetos. (Still one of my favorite moments in YGXTAS.) For some reason I thought George Michael was one of them, too, but I can't remember for sure.
The first reference was when Jaden fought Crowler and said that he had the power of George Michael when using Skyscraper and Absolutely Flawless started playing.

I already love GX, regardless of dub or sub, but I'd also love it if we had a GX-series based on the abridged version. The English dub is basically already an abridged, so the biggest difference would be more TheLonelyIsland and more raps.
I don't remember every detail, but I did see some things. For some years, a couple of small random accounts on twitter were suggesting LK and others like TeamFourStar knew about Chris Niosi and covered it up. They were using LK's real name and everything. Apparently that kept boiling up to the point where people in the extended abridging community took notice and called out LK and TFS. However, it seems as though this was all misinformation pushed by ShadyVox. This did pretty significant damage to the reputations of those who called out LK. But with this, it was learned that ShadyVox is weird. Kind of a stalker and made a rap about killing LK. So yeah, not exactly flawless. And yeah, I saw the tweets. They seem to be still up. ShonenOtaku. I'm just a viewer and this is like the 200th time since 2019 I've seen people suggest content creators are secretly garbage. I'm not numb to it, but I just waited to see how things played out. I didn't even notice this came to a head until a week after they exposed ShadyVox. Now I'm open to the possibility there's even more levels of gaslighting going on here. But for the moment, what they say about ShadyVox lines up, and that ShadyVox rap is still on his channel. It's called Joker. The fact he would do this while LK was literally fighting for his life medically, is unhinged.

He doesn't become a bad student anymore, he's smart now! Being attractive and kind, he may not be afraid to show any interest in girls, like Alexis [Rhodes]! Jaden can be very dreamy up close, since many fangirls would find him absolutely flawless. When he's not dueling, he usually could sing and perform songs, just like Atticus did. This is because I have ever heard of KENN (Ken'ichirou Ohashi), his Japanese voice actor. Update: I changed Jaden's look into a punk one if you want to see! I designed it for DNAction, a main spin-off of the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series that is a co-production between Japan and the USA. If you want to know, DNAction is the first spin-off series whom the manga isn't being serialized in Shueisha's V-Jump, but rather Weekly Shonen Jump. It is also the first series in the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise to lack censorship that 4Kids had ever done. The series takes place in Sigma City (a fictional Japanese city and a bustling metropolis).
