When i saw Nia fade away at the wedding after the destruction of the anti spiral, i almost felt like crying because Simon had lost another one who was close to him. But when i saw him delivering the badass exit, the tears stopped and i instead felt like saluting Simon

I don't do mech animes and the like but this makes me so inspired and convinced that the plot is worth it so I gotta give Gurren Lagann a try. I get chills and cry every time I watch this. It definitely deserved its win of the Drama/Romance category in the AMV contest at NDK
Important thing to know going in, it starts off childish, that’s not an accident the show literally starts you off in a world of innocents and has you grow up with the cast as they mature. Some people don’t realize this but ask anyone that’s seen the whole show and they will in retrospect realize they where played.
This video was what got me into Gurren Lagann in the first place. Before I wasn’t so sure about watching it, as I wasn’t really interested in mecha animes and ecchi, but here I am, binging the entire series and the movies while screaming along all the iconic lines in the show. I’m so glad I came upon this video, because Gurren Lagann absolutely delivered. This anime was absolutely amazing and it really inspired me to push forward with my life and improve and do better and better. Because that’s Tengan Toppa! That’s Gurren Lagann! And that’s the way Team Dai-Gurren rolls!
This was....to be blunt...fucking amazing. Its beautiful, colorful, emotional, heartfelt and you PERFECTLY nailed the use of "A Million dreams." I am so THANKFUL someone finally used that film's masterpiece soundtrack in an AMV. You put real heart, effort and connection into your videos. Man, around 10 years ago I started watching anime and as far as I remember it all started with this one. It has been so long but I still remember the pain of how unfair the ending was and I still get sad thinking about it, yet I am glad I did, because this made me watch and read a lot of stories I love and enjoy up to this day. It is sad how much I already forgot about the story but one day I will take my time and rewatch it knowing it will hurt as much as the first time, but I am sure I will just love it as much as the first time. Fantastic job with the editing and the fitting nature of the song and how it connected to the progression of the story, the AMV really shows the scale of where Simon came from and where he ended up. My friend and I saw this at Momocon 2018 and voted for it. We both love greatest showman and neither of us know the anime yet this completely made us both feel something. Which is insane considering we know nothing about the show and characters. This is seriously the best amv ever

I saw this AMV at Anime NYC and it incentivized me to finally get to watching Gurren Lagann, and it was totally worth it! Fantastic job with the editing and the fitting nature of the song and how it connected to the progression of the story, the AMV really shows the scale of where Simon came from and where he ended up.
