Nut Stab i was 5 and i were kinda playing you feel me? I was like messing with the controler and i were playing campaign the most cuz it was the most fun and cuz it was ez too..
I never played mw2 well never played cod but didn't this come out in 2011 if so damn graphics, connection and sound effects is shit compare to bf3 but this game is a good game just do like cod just only for campaign
It came out at 2009. MW3 came out at 2011.. Still these graphics are better than today's shitty CODs and even other games as well.. MW series isn't just a game, it is a movie, an emotion and a necessity. RIP the good old days..
Something I like about this campaign is that after the American storyline ends, the narrative becomes more and more personal. Loose Ends is the last mission where you're fighting as part of an army, and The Enemy of My Enemy is the last mission where you fight Makarov's men. At this point, the story becomes only about you and Shepherd. The game doesn't want you to save the world, it just wants you to save yourself. And that's what makes it such a great ending.
I think the reason why MW2 had such a grasp of a real modern war and made it look convincing for the most part of the game was because they consulted with experts on what a modern day simulated war between two super powers would run like and/or reviewed footage of modern day wars from the 2000's. Not once have I ever seen a game depict a Homeland invasion on the US and made it feel realistic without putting in at the end murica' beating off the enemy in flamming glory like most other FPS's do.
ebolian. I get that but yes I agree ww1 or world at war was good ,WW2 wasn’t good for many reasons which is obviously and we don’t know much of Cold War yet and I also said Trilogy .
The COD Franchise is such a successful series of games yet they are so focused on the multiplayer that most people see past the story, which in my opinion was the best thing the games had to offer specially this masterpiece of a trilogy. I wish more people stopped and saw COD the way I see it. Mad love for the game. ❤️
Most things I never even noticed even after 5 playthroughs. The Cargo plane crashing at 7:55 and the harriers taking off at 8:01. Seeing them now makes this game look even better, when they put effort into making a good story and cared. Brilliant.
Also in the house your about to walk in after that there is an enemy russian looking around in the fridge for something to eat lol. You can just pass him or kill him.
Yeah these newer cods are too...how do I saw babyish, I know they are still violent but they don't really feel brutal. This game was just violent war...brutal smack in the face war...and it was just so epic...gave me Goosebumps and also like you said made me feel like a fucking marine.
Just bought this game today and im so happy I got it on a sale, games like these don't deserve sales, they deserves full price, 10/10 I would wipe my memory just to play this a second time
My all time favorite Call of Duty period!!! MW2 has a very special place in my heart, I'm talking about the Single Player Campaign here yo, multiplayer ight, but the campaign was and will always be the absolute best!!!! change my mind
There's always thrilling atmostphere when doing Task Force 141 missions, all the stealth and clean and sweep operations. Minus the advanced tech since Black Ops and so on, this game really tests the skill where every bullets count👍👍👍
There are a few "fuck yeah" moments that I remember to this day: 1. Jumping over the cliff with the snowmobile at the end of cliffhanger. 2. Jumping and catching the ladder during the favela mission 3. Grappling up after saving captain price 4. Killing Shepherd 5. Driving the car into the airplane
I hope that at least someone noticed that Cod took some inspiration from the movie Red Dawn (1984 or so) because in the movie, the Russians parachutes down, like the game, and the mission is called “Wolverines!” and there was this militia group called the Wolverines
12:50 i love how the p.i. that you had to rescue help's you get out... price is op...best cod, and first person war game ever.... 27:45 what i like about this scene is the fact that the game tells you to press a button but you are very much aware of whats happening in the background 29:30 when nikolai says i know a place... i was like... yassss... you better know a effing place.....
The series of missions where you fight off Russians on US soil was honestly amazing. This game portrayed modern war, on a grand scale, without the use of nukes.
18:23 - "...shit's falling from the sky. We're screwed man!" / "Shut up! [...] Our weapons still work, which means we can still kick some ass." Hell yeah
Captain John “Soap” MacTavish the man who was able to tackle someone through a window, from the 3rd story balcony and onto a car, gets up unscathed and draws his weapon on him. Fucking beastly May he R.I.P
The Wolverines mission was fucking epic. Just the music, the parachuting, the radio chatter in the background, the airstrikes and tanks, I just live for that Oh yeah and escaping the villa was really good.
notice: no exos, no shields, no super guns, NO BULLSHIT. this game is golden

I think we should thank Hans Zimmer for composing the amazing music that goes with these textbook momemts in Call of Duty.
All abord the hype train for codww2.
Hans zimmer did lots of good soundtracks, especially in Dunkirk
Wrong. Hans Zimmer only composed the main theme. Lorne Balfe is the one responsible for all the other music.
i was just about to say that !

It's sad that the majority of the remaining community don't even know any cod games before Black Ops 2.
Jayden Yen Bo1 and MW2 were the best cod known to man kind
Bo1 sucked dick
Jayden Yen I'm a part of the more "traditional " community
COD Civil War what the hell is that
What is the name it better not be Call of Juarez series cause that is not related to COD in anyway.
