I love how they’re not only timing it back to Eddie’s unseen jealousy towards Barry, but Eddie’s own bloodline. Every thing about the colbat blue arc has been so amazing. They haven’t just made nostalgic references to season 1, they’ve actually been tying seasons 1 and 9 together in such a way. The night Nora died in the post crisis timeline, Eddie being re-incarnated in the future to then obtain his past memories in his other life and travel back to the present. I can’t wait until Colbat Blue resurrects every staple villain like Zoom, Savitar, etc, and I want to see a scene where Eobard Thawn is proud of Eddie for continuing the Thawn legacy and maybe Eddie sabotaging Thawn’s plan one last time.

What a shame Eddie sacrificed his life to erase Eobard, only for Eddie's evil decedent to come back repeatedly. That noble sacrifice, only seemed to be in vain. The singularity that Eddie unintentionally created, also nearly destroyed Central City. When looking back on it, guess that was an event where two noble sacrifices were made. Ronnie Raymond made his, just to ensure the singularity got closed up 😢

Yeah that was nonsensical asf, having Eddie's hypothetical daughter with iris look just like Nora, it makes no sense. Nora is a result of Barry and iris's combined DNA, not Eddie's.
The way I see it that was just the Negative speed force creating illusions. If the illusion looks like Nora, when Eddie sees the Real Nora he will constantly think of all that he's lost.
That wouldn't have happened if there was a more realistic fake daughter.

This season has been giving us good episodes but bad episodes, the difference is that the good episodes ARE REALLY REALLY GOOD (9x09, 9x10 etc) but god damn it why Cecile, Allegra, khione, Chester etc, the new team is just terrible compared to what it was, Cisco, Caitlin, Ralph, Harry

Isn’t Eddie suppose to be Barry’s twin brother that was adopted into thawn family. To Nora, Eddie is uncle Eddie. If I remember colbolt is uncle Eddie. Real name Eddie Alan. The evil twin of Barry. Nora and Henry gave up Eddie. He was adopted into the thawne family. Which would make reverse flash part Allen family timeline but would be under thawne because uncle Eddie was adopted into the thawne. I think reason Eddie was given up was Eddie tried to kill his twin brother Barry. And Nora and Henry saved Barry to send Eddie into foster care system. Reason reverse flash hates Barry. Is his ancestor is Barry’s twin brother Eddie who is colbolt.
