I’m more interested in Kale as Vegetas kid. Perhaps Vegeta could be disappointed that his daughter is a timid weakling only to have an “OH YEAH, That’s my little girl” moment when Kale goes berserk for the first time
In all honesty I can’t imagine why Gohan would be there in the first place (aside from obligation). Gohan isn’t a fighter and u6 seems like the kinda place he’d be allowed to just study what he wished without having to do any fighting
@@triforceofcourage100 I think Universe 6 Gohan would be less averse to fighting, actually. The events in canon probably traumatized him and made fighting seem terrifying and barbaric. Growing up in a more peaceful environment, with role models like the Sadala Defense Force (if he's swapped with Caulifla then he has an older brother pretty high up in the Force's rankings), I think things could go very differently for him. Not to mention he'd probably be fascinated by the idea of seeing people from an entirely separate universe.
@@epickduk that’s also a possibility. I mean Gohan’s introduction to fighting was pretty traumatic. I think that he’d be more like a squad leader giving out strategies and orders not the strongest on the team but definitely the smartest.
This series is just so outstanding. It fits amazingly, flows very smoothly, and if someone didn’t know better, they could think this is how dragon ball Z actually would go. Good on you Masako, great content as always!
This series slaps. I don't know why people have a bone to pick when what-ifs get "too fanfiction-y" as if all what-ifs aren't fanfiction to begin with! All that matters is that it's a good story.
Even if it got full on fanfiction mode I wouldn’t care, I would actually be all here for it, there can be some cringy fanfics out there but there are also some very well written ones out there and just means more structure to the story, it’s part of the reason why I like Masako X’s what if, they take it more slowly and more in the narrative stand point instead of this part of the what if is gonna be more action pack than before or look at this crazy thumbnail it’s ssj4 ultra ego Goku with Kaioken stacked onto of it, Masako takes it slowly for parts to feel more natural to the story and hardly ever misses in a story some from before yeah it could use work but even those were more interesting than some I’ve heard from other what if channels the only other I have seen that gets close to good writing is Seth the programmer to me. Masako X takes the time to flesh out the story, have really cool unique ideas that keep the ideas interesting Other what ifs just gets straight into the action right away and always feels repetitive to previous what ifs and gets boring
Well the point of a what if is to just change one thing and keep everything else the same. I don't have a problem when creators don't do that but I can see why people would.
This one is proving to have a lot more potential than I thought it would. Not only is Caulifla getting proper development, but so is everyone else thanks to her fiery personality. I hate to say it, but if Masako pulls this off well, *Caulifla just might do the story more justice than Gohan ever could.*
"And basically puny-godded him into submission" Good one Masako. As for the next part, I'm more than sure Caulifla will have to trouble being part of the crew. She'd either confront her mother about it (like Gohan did in the original series) or just sneak into the spaceship with the help of Krilin (him still wanting to be called uncle by the young girl). Tho, her brashness might cause some troubles once on Namek, I think that she'd know from her experience with her uncles' sacrifice when to back down to fight another day
This Caulifla has Goku's pure warrior spirit and a healthier version of Radditz's Sayian Pride, her potential is insane in this story. Surprised Radditz and Piccolo didn't survive because their power is higher than the Official Timeline plus they both took the blast and Nappa was more worn down when he fired.
Yeah I only put it to both of them bring to distracted since Raditz in this could have just counterattack with a blast of his own given their near equal power.
It'd be REALLY interesting if in this What If, Goku gets more defensive for Caulifla against Chi-Chi. Basically putting his foot down more often and maybe try to help remind Chi-Chi of her old martial arts spirit she lost when she became a mother Plus this could help Chi-Chi develop a better and more healthy relationship with Caulifla!
For real that would be awesome. I always thought it was kinda annoying how anti fighting she was, considering it's how she met her husband and she eventually lightens up about it anyway with goten.
Honestly, the April Fools what-ifs are some of my favorites because of how unique they can be. That Nappa death is definitely colder than in the main canon tho. At least Vegeta PRETENDED to help Nappa. He just left him to get blasted by the Kamehameha
I'd said it and I will say it again, these April Fools What-Ifs always end up being part of the best ones of this channel. And this one has amazing potential. I hope we see more about U6 Saiyans in the new DBSuper series (whenever it comes out)

i think that caulifla would go with goku, not just to spend time with him but to maybe learn some of those super cool moves he did, and for the first team i see it mostly the same but maybe chiaotzu and tien, chiaotzu could help a lot with gathering the dragon balls due to his psychic powers

Honestly I don't see them developing the Gang boss attitude needed for that to happen since Caulifla and Kale are not actually sisters but more like a Gang leader and her closest ally, Most old school delinquent stuff from japan reffer to each other as Brother or Sister despite no familiar relationship heck in a lot of those cases some characters are romantically involved yet still reffer to each other as Aniki/Anego/(name) Nee-san (name) Nii-san. Considering the basis of Gohan's he might be similar to his Ultimate persona from the buu saga and might still associate with Kale.

You'd think that in at least *one* of these wonderful timelines, Chichi would learn to lighten up at her children following their not-human father's footsteps. Or that she'd remember that she *herself* was a fighter. As for our little cauliflower munchkin, the only outcome I can imagine here is she demands to go to Namek with the others in a way similar to DBZ Abridged Gohan did. I for one absolutely can not wait for the next installment of this one! Make your Uncles proud, Caulifla!
unfortunately toriyama has admitted he has no clue how to write goku and chichis relationship...so he just resorted to the nagging wife routine which was he usual go to
Finally, a new part for this What If! Also... Raditz and Piccolo fighting/arguing/bickering like an old married couple over who should sacrifice himself to save Caulifla, is not something I was expecting to hear. Surprisingly amusing and moving at the same time!
I seriously cannot wait until (if this happens given we're going through the whole Saiyan Saga) to see how Caulifla does again Frieza's army as well as our galactic emperor himself. When you get an April fools What If that turns into a series, THATS when it gets really interesting! Let's keep it going!
So it seems like in this timeline we’re gonna have Bulma, Caulifa, Krillin, and Yamcha head to Namek. Tien and Chiaotzu will probably stay behind to make sure that the planet isn’t completely undefended while the others are gone and Goku is healing. Namek is shaping up to be very interesting indeed.
A thought I had was when Goku told her to leave, and she said no which caused Goku to go "Yeah, I didn't think you would leave." This scene is going to have a nice contrast when he goes Super Sayian, and tells her to leave. She's going to refuse, and Goku is going to stare with the power of a thousand suns and say "I wasn't asking."
Vegeta: ENOUGH! YOU ALL OF YOU ARE BENEATH ME! I AM THE PRINCE OF ALL SAIYANS YOU LOWER CLASS SCUMS AND I WILL NOT BE DEFEATED BY- Great Ape Caulifla: Puny prince.
that was great, it shows Caulifla is indeed learning fast. so, I now wonder; can she learn the powerball technique for herself? and how quickly will she become a super saiyan? will it be her or Goku on Namek? looking forward to finding out
Well actually the fact Raditz kind of told her to use it like a special move does kind of implie that she may know how to use powerball, afterall there was no guarantee that Vegeta as strong as he was would have needed to use the move unless Raditz knew Goku was strong enough to force him to, and he also didn't know when Goku would even show up given he can't sense him.🤔
Will we get any sort of "meanwhile, in Universe 6, a gentle soul had just been born" intermission? I know we don't see Caulifla until well into Super normally, but she seemed to be about Gohan's age, so surely she was up to *something* in the intervening years?
One critique, assuming Piccolo is stronger here, I’d think he’d survive Nappa’s final attack. I get story wise why he didn’t, but an explanation of some kind would be cool.
Well, with Piccolo and Raditz trying to shove each other out of the way so just one of them can take the blast, I'd assume that would have distracted them enough that they didn't have a proper defense up. Think of it like - and I hate to have to use this as an example due to recent tragedies here in the US - a gunshot to the heart. If you have something that can block the bullet, such as a kevlar vest, it'll still hurt A LOT, but it more often than not will stop the bullet, whereas without adequate protection, that bullet's going straight through.
You know... Gohan having his potential unlocked means he sadly would work very well as a u6 character. Also explains why he could get so strong and not stumble across super saiyan form.
Feels like Goku and Chi-Chi might end up getting divorced in this scenario if she keeps up her attitude and refusal to accept her daughter's desire to be a fighter.
Call them The Wise, and gave them a ridiculous amount of Ki and Ki efficiency. They aren't super powerful, but they are able to fight for weeks due to studying how ki works and problem solving until it worked like a well oiled machine.
I think that Goku having done the deed of executing Nappa felt off, almost wrong even. He showed no mercy to him and while you could argue that he was angry over the deaths of Piccolo and Raditz, Goku is infamous for giving even the most despicable of foes an opportunity to better themselves. Now I could pass this off as a simple one time thing that might not be properly explained, but it got me thinking. Is Caulifla encouraging Goku's recklessness and will Goku become more callous as a result? Maybe not in the sense that he becomes antagonistic but rather more morally grey, if that makes sense.
A interesting thought that Caulifla who acts a lot more saiyan by nature is influencing Goku, and since Goku has some positive examples of saiyan attitude isn't as closed minded to it as he was when all he saw was negatives in the original timeline with OG Raditz, Nappa, and Vegeta. He saw his brother actually care and protect his daughter, and has a connection to her himself that he didn't with Gohan because they were just to different and Chi-Chi influencing.
I think Goku wasting him is colder, but maybe that is okay too. I wonder if Goku/Caulifla sayian spirit would cause goku to fight to the finish more often. Now, does Raditz and Piccolo do real king kai training? Instead of, for Piccolo, just meditating the entire time. I know Piccolo isn't one for following other people's training but Raditz being there to spur him on and at the very least spar against might change a bit of his general misgivings.
I think Caulifa should be kept behind since there are more Z fighters to go to namek but sneak about goku's ship when he leaves to train with him the gravity room
I love these "what if" stories... I grew up with DB and DBZ so the world is very dear to me and the playful changes you and your team construct sit well

As mntioned y others, this is a great series! With Nappa's deat, I think it might be even colder fro Vegeta - it makes him come as completelly not caring for Nappa's life, not even worth punishing for his failure, and if anything, being amused by it.
This What If is one of the best I like hearing. It makes Caulifla a better character and a likable one too even more. I wanna continue hearing more of this what if because it’s so good. Also the original Vegeta offing Napa is “colder” *wink wink* than Goku offing him. Still pretty good though
Do you know for a moment I thought Nappa Mike survive. Given her strong code of honor oh well can’t have everything. I really love the puny god joke. Of course in this case it was purely Prince joke. I’m looking forward to the shrimp to space. A lot of thugs are going to go splat. Maybe the overgrown pink gumball will get blasted by her. It would be nice. Especially since it would be by Bardock’s Granddaughter
Does anybody else feel like Goku will say, at some point, 'Chi-chi, we need to talk'? Seriously, she has such bad trust issues with Caulifla, nor will she listen to her daughter. Even when Caulifla is trying to explain what's going on or happened.
Funny thing, don't know if this is touched in the next one yet or not, but the Dragon Team not only have Kami's old ship. They still have both Nappa's AND Ratiz's too (unless Bulma accidentally destroyed Nappa's still). Not to mention Goku's old one
Love caulifa in this series and chi chi definitely not getting any sympathy from me in this what if, curious how this will play out, especially with gotten and 7yr time skip
Here's an idea: Have Caulifla go with Goku to Namek instead of Bulma. Father and daughter will train together! And to make things a bit easier for Bulma's journey, have Krillin go with her like in the original, but since they all survived this time around, Yamcha, Tien, and even Chiaotzu can all go with her. They'll have the numbers game against Zarbon and Dadoria (especially if the Vegeta alliance still happens), and while they probably won't outright beat the Ginyu Force, they'll have a better chance of surviving till Goku and Caulifla show up.
So with caulifla’s tail seemingly still intact as of right now does that mean that there’s a potential possibility of a super saiyan 4 in the future of this what if?
Its worse in the original cuz here u had him ask "why aren't u helping", b4 he's out...but in the og...he asks..."why after everything we've been through why are u betraying me"...see the difference in sentimentality...one shows how he won't lift one finger...while the other does show he does, but with it he gave Nappa fales hope...and with end results
This series is great I love how goku is a better father now to caluifle and radiz gets to survive again yeah but there 1 question I have, why did Goku finish nappa and not Vegeta. If the rest of the story played out like usual then why is nappa's different just wondering why

Not caring about an ally’s death is one thing, purposefully being the cause of said death is something else

You'd think that in at least *one* of these wonderful timelines, Chichi would learn to lighten up at her children following their not-human father's footsteps. Or that she'd remember that she *herself* was a fighter. As for our little cauliflower munchkin, the only outcome I can imagine here is she demands to go to Namek with the others in a way similar to DBZ Abridged Gohan did. I for one absolutely can not wait for the next installment of this one! Make your Uncles proud, Caulifla!

So it seems like in this timeline we’re gonna have Bulma, Caulifa, Krillin, and Yamcha head to Namek. Tien and Chiaotzu will probably stay behind to make sure that the planet isn’t completely undefended while the others are gone and Goku is healing. Namek is shaping up to be very interesting indeed.

A thought I had was when Goku told her to leave, and she said no which caused Goku to go "Yeah, I didn't think you would leave."
This scene is going to have a nice contrast when he goes Super Sayian, and tells her to leave. She's going to refuse, and Goku is going to stare with the power of a thousand suns and say "I wasn't asking."

Well actually the fact Raditz kind of told her to use it like a special move does kind of implie that she may know how to use powerball, afterall there was no guarantee that Vegeta as strong as he was would have needed to use the move unless Raditz knew Goku was strong enough to force him to, and he also didn't know when Goku would even show up given he can't sense him.🤔
Will we get any sort of "meanwhile, in Universe 6, a gentle soul had just been born" intermission? I know we don't see Caulifla until well into Super normally, but she seemed to be about Gohan's age, so surely she was up to *something* in the intervening years?
One critique, assuming Piccolo is stronger here, I’d think he’d survive Nappa’s final attack.
I get story wise why he didn’t, but an explanation of some kind would be cool.
Well, with Piccolo and Raditz trying to shove each other out of the way so just one of them can take the blast, I'd assume that would have distracted them enough that they didn't have a proper defense up. Think of it like - and I hate to have to use this as an example due to recent tragedies here in the US - a gunshot to the heart. If you have something that can block the bullet, such as a kevlar vest, it'll still hurt A LOT, but it more often than not will stop the bullet, whereas without adequate protection, that bullet's going straight through.

Call them The Wise, and gave them a ridiculous amount of Ki and Ki efficiency. They aren't super powerful, but they are able to fight for weeks due to studying how ki works and problem solving until it worked like a well oiled machine.

She’s going Super Saiyan on Namek after losing Uncle Krillen.
I think that Goku having done the deed of executing Nappa felt off, almost wrong even. He showed no mercy to him and while you could argue that he was angry over the deaths of Piccolo and Raditz, Goku is infamous for giving even the most despicable of foes an opportunity to better themselves.
Now I could pass this off as a simple one time thing that might not be properly explained, but it got me thinking. Is Caulifla encouraging Goku's recklessness and will Goku become more callous as a result? Maybe not in the sense that he becomes antagonistic but rather more morally grey, if that makes sense.
A interesting thought that Caulifla who acts a lot more saiyan by nature is influencing Goku, and since Goku has some positive examples of saiyan attitude isn't as closed minded to it as he was when all he saw was negatives in the original timeline with OG Raditz, Nappa, and Vegeta.
He saw his brother actually care and protect his daughter, and has a connection to her himself that he didn't with Gohan because they were just to different and Chi-Chi influencing.

I think Goku wasting him is colder, but maybe that is okay too. I wonder if Goku/Caulifla sayian spirit would cause goku to fight to the finish more often. Now, does Raditz and Piccolo do real king kai training? Instead of, for Piccolo, just meditating the entire time. I know Piccolo isn't one for following other people's training but Raditz being there to spur him on and at the very least spar against might change a bit of his general misgivings.
That Gohan interaction is going to be interesting when it happens.......This story is great as the usual ones you do Masakox!
I think Caulifa should be kept behind since there are more Z fighters to go to namek but sneak about goku's ship when he leaves to train with him the gravity room

As mntioned y others, this is a great series! With Nappa's deat, I think it might be even colder fro Vegeta - it makes him come as completelly not caring for Nappa's life, not even worth punishing for his failure, and if anything, being amused by it.

Here's an idea: Have Caulifla go with Goku to Namek instead of Bulma. Father and daughter will train together! And to make things a bit easier for Bulma's journey, have Krillin go with her like in the original, but since they all survived this time around, Yamcha, Tien, and even Chiaotzu can all go with her. They'll have the numbers game against Zarbon and Dadoria (especially if the Vegeta alliance still happens), and while they probably won't outright beat the Ginyu Force, they'll have a better chance of surviving till Goku and Caulifla show up.
