Thank you Luli, I have made lots of notes. my son has been really sick with a bad cough, I mean awful bad chesty can't stop coughing type cough, He couldn't get a doctors appointment, I made him some tea with Mullein, echinacea, nigella seed, clove, ginger, thyme, bay leaf, tumeric, when cooled added juice of orange and lemon. he drank 3 - 4 cups daily. After 2 days he felt better and day 3 after starting the tea he went back to work. Also I patted his back and sides and told him to pat his chest and sides firmly to break up the phlegm, this helped him to cough it up. I started him on mullien and honey tea right away, but had to up the anti as his chest was so bad.
Hu Luli! Yes, my youngest daughter has a persistent cough that is lingering. I will have to make her some of this so she can get better. I have her taking elderberry, zinc and vitamin C, but she still has that cough. Thank you for sharing this recipe with us. Have a blessed evening!
thank you for another great and informative video. I had to laugh as your syrup ingredients are quite close to what I put into my extra large morning tea bags lately! I think I need to get myself a bigger mug! Better yet, just take a bit of this great syrup everyday:) I was so happy to see that you didn't deseed your rosehips. I picked many wild rosehips and the thought of deseeding them almost made me not want to partake in these treasures! I felt that if I always use a fine mesh bag that I wouldn't have to worry about the hairs. I use this same principle with mullein. Has this been your practice with herbs that might have hairs or something else that we might not want to ingest?
Thank you so much for this recipe! I only have Ponderosa pines in my area to forage from. Can these pine needles be used? Also when the needles touch me I do get a prickly red raised area reaction…will this recipe with the needles cause a problem internally? If so, what could I substitute for them for additional vitamin C?

Great home therapy!
With everything you put in that, I would want to take it everyday just to keep the immune system healthy. Thank you.
Not a bad idea

I don’t remove rosehip seeds, just have to make sure to strain them out not to ingest

For herbs that you grow or forage yourself, where do you purchase from? Are there key things to look for when looking for herbs online?
I grow many, as many as I can. Also forage for some and when need to purchase always look for organic or wild
