would you ever use the 'mother' from commercial organic ACV to boost /strengthen it? there's the phase where alcohol is produced, then it goes to vinegar.. -have you increased sugar & gone longer w/ fermentation to make a stronger vinegar? = if it has gotten too cool, and as well, to have a controlled fermentation: a large plastic picnic cooler, with water and an aquarium heater does great for consistent results; I use that to make consistent kombucha (1st & 2nd ferments).. most $10 aquarium heaters should do the job ; some people can use their seedling heating mats inside a cooler as well, as long as it's got a thermostat on it. I've used various but the water bath & submerged heater seems to give consistent kombucha results, & it's basically going through the same type of process.
Thank you for sharing. I do not use any heating or cooling devices. My mother is strong! After several months it literally turns into a beautiful scoby. I simply keep it on my kitchen counter for the first fermention. Later, strain and let it sit in the cool basement temperature around 55°F.
Thank you Cookie Home! I love it too! It is not too late. As specially if yo are baking with apples this winter and have lot of apple peels. Keep the fermenting jar in a warm place. Best wishes!
16 min video of useless blabbering...NO..!!! that's not how you make ACV..the apples floating on the top and would be covered with mold.. the same will happened on second fermentation...
Thank you for showing us how to do this. What is your opinion about using a organic mother to assist fermentation?
Thank you.
I would think that it would help. I have never used it. Let me know if it works.

Hi, thank you for showing how to make apple cider vinegar. I love apple cider vinegar! Do you think its too late to make it now, in December?

@@lulishomestead6767 Thank you!
Stir every day, mold won't form. See Heidi at Rain Country on youtube.
Honestly, I don't have the time. If there is any cloudy -milky sediment on top, I just remove it
ПРЕЛЕСТЬ, БЛАГОДАРЮ
Congrats on the next mark😀
Thanks!😘 I hope you can post more soon
@@lulishomestead6767 I’ve started a video and been editing for a week now, it’s just toooo long...
Do you need help? 😘
I’m not sure my acv worked. There is a little bit of white stuff on top of it
How has it been since you started the fermentation?
I came from rebel canners. I forgot to weight mine down when I tried to make it. Hit green mold :( hopefully I’ll have better luck next time
Hi! Welcome! That is a common issue. Somebody told me they forgot to weight down their sourkraut and it went bad. So sad.
