For such an old game, Starcraft 2 is still so exciting to watch at times. I just wish Protoss was also viable. Stormgate will have a lot to live up to.
The problem of Toss is that it is a very strong race at mid-pro level but when you reach the level of these monsters, the other race are better if you have the APM required. The skill cap for terran is high but the Maru/Clem of this world are so good that they can unleash the full potential of the race which almost no one can. Pretty sur if you let an AI play with no APM limit, terran is the strongest race... but at a human level...it is the hardest race.
@@daominhhuy2011for sur they will be strong but won't obliterate you forget about borrow and medivac pick up. Many shots can be avoided while the blink has a cool down. There will be a tough window for sure but I don't think they would "obliterate everything"

this series was INSANE! game 3, even game 2 was magnificent! like clem was attacking from 3 different spots at once, and then he threw in a fourth prong to the attack for a bit there.

Clem is now the best all around Terran player of all time surpassing Byun and Maru. His game play is so well rounded, whether it be multi prong attacks, defensive styles, hyper aggressive , multi prong harassments while macroing up behind, and you name it.
He is probably playing the best Terran right at the moment, yes. But hes not YET best of all time, because Byun won a world championship and Maru won 7 GSL along with other big tournaments as well. But Clem will have a chance to surpass both of them if he can keep this up for sure.

kinda smart to recruit competitive SC2 players into the army, they have good self-discipline, reaction time and sense of tactics. btw DVA character from overwatch 2 is a little teenage starcraft 2 pro that was recruited to the army to fight in a mecha because of her skills

Please don't have the names of the players when they are at the final stages, just have Semi/Grand Finals (or whatever round it is). Anyway, I will still watch this because all the games between these two are amazing.
I'm uncertain whether players can hear the casters, but it seems they might unintentionally provide one player with more information. For example, during this game, some crucial moments were exposed: At 37:10, after Clem's scan missed, the casters revealed that Serral had a Lurker Den and a Hydra Den. At 40:15, they disclosed information about a doom drop. At 1:02:32, they give away an infestor. Do you think imposing a mandatory delay on casters, similar to the delay used by streamers, would be a solution to avoid giving an advantage to their favored player?
Anticipation. They are high level players and they regularly confront each other. And I'm sure you can find plenty of examples where players don't react to information given by casters.
the headphones nowadays have active noise cancelling , you cannot even hear the person talking next to you , only lip reading , i tried one at home and i was mesmerized by the quality of this feature
Zerg have been seeing success with ultras more recently, probably due to a combo of the snipe damage nerf, smaller model size, and slightly cheaper cost. Plus, T hasn't had as much practice playing against ultras in the past, although that seems to be changing. The meta will probably shift again before Katowice arrives. I wonder if part of the solution will be adding in a sprinkle of broods?

The hardcore Fans don't care. SC2 is a fantastic game,with massive balance issues. Terran has been broken since release in 2011 . If someone can't see that, after game 3, they have no clue about that game. If both play as close 2 perfect as it gets, terrans has a huge advantage.

nah they can't. they have earpieces for game audio.. then mufflers on top to mute out the arena. As you can see, they never take off those mufflers.
