    Just a quick comment on used radiators . Get the car hot and move your hand or use an infra red heat gun or thermal imaging camera over the front and back sides of the core . If you find any cold areas , the tubes in the core are clogged . I agree that it's better to use a newer designed dual or triple flow radiator . Especially if you have a large investment . Why cook that engine ?

    I would like to know what radiator and fan shroud that was used on the Nova. I have a BBC in my 1971 Nova and have overheating problems. Any ideas would be great. Thanks

    I’m very interested in what radiator/fan combo you are using in the Nova. My current project is a “driver” ‘69 Camaro with twin S366s and real estate is at a premium behind the radiator core support... Thanks!

    I have a 2006 Pontiac GTO using mishimoto radiotor. Which fans would you recommend? My car gets hot quick. It’s LSA swapped GTO. I have the stock fans.

    What’s the best set-up for a 1995 corvette????? I’m thinking about goin electric pump as well because the mechanical ones don’t last long with the rubber seals always going out and weep hole leaking out all over the opti. Which GM didn’t even design around it so they could make more M.O.N.E.Y out of ya when the WET opti takes a shit due to the water pump dumping out all over it. Not to mention when u sit at a light and your R.P.Ms at idle can’t even cool the vehicle in hot summer environment. Would like to pick your brain concerning these issues. Thanks

    Great videos for me a novice!!!
    Need your help! I have a 95 mustang and I have been trying to fit a 5.3 into it. I have done some notching of the K member and even with a low profile oil pan the factory intake manifold will not clear the hood. Will a aftermarket K-member like the ones from Team Z with the lower steering rack give me the clearance I need.
    I know this is about cooling not K-members or mustangs.

    I have a street car 572 720r do you want to recommend a radiator. No ac, t56 6 speed transmission. I want to use it to drive to shows . Any information sure would help. Do you think pressurized closes system are the way to go?

      5000 cfm it’s a beast ! I don’t think there’s a aftermarket fan that comes close!

      @@leroytapia2596 Where did you get the 5000 cfm rating? I called Dorman and asked them about their 620-118 fan. Its a 2 speed fan. Low speed pulls 2570cfm and 11.2amps speed 2 is 2900cfm 17.5amps. those amp readings are at no load full speed by the way. Dorman guy said this fan can pull almost 100amp spike on start up. Thats why your suppose to run a PWM with it and Mark 8 fan.

      @@nova467spanker those Lincoln Mark 8 fans are the truth...I know guys running them on their 1000+ h.p. cars and they stay cool as ice 8 second 1/4 mile cars

      About to get to the radiator upgrade for my daily street project. Wondering if I should order the radiator without tranny line cooler, or should keep that for warming transmission fluid. I have a large auxiliary cooler (no fan) I also have a transmission fluid thermostat to install, supposed to restrict it until it gets to 160. The reson I got the thermostat to install. Is because takes awhile for my transmission to get warm enough to shift right in mornings as it is. Hate to order a radiator that doesn't have the cooler. Hate to pay extra for the one with the cooler if I don't need it or really want it. What do you think?
