I forgot to add, the lizard being a family pet was a myth cooked up by a prank from the wiki boys, that aside I had always believed a lizard being killed would be more of an issue with age ratings etc than bugs hence why it was cut showing real blood etc but the game is rated teen so dont see this as issue stopping them adding them
I would like to see the ants getting expansion. Aunt queens, royal guard and egg chamber. Maybe give him some more tunnels too
ok so i tried to look it up and i got nothing but i remember you saying that it might be hard to add the lizard bc it is so big and the scaling would be really weird but aren't salamanders smaller than lizards? so maybe they could add that instead of a lizard but that is just my idea. ( again, i did not see if salamanders are really smaller than lizards but for irl experience i would think that a salamander is smaller)
Maybe they could just add ant queens roaming only in their den, in the deepest of the anthills. It would make going into the anthills more fun and dangerous, having to face an ant queen that is like the third stage ant, the strongest and rarest, kind of like what they did with the termite king., and a cool map change could be that once you kill the ant queen there will be no more ants spawning until she respawns, They don't need to be ''bosses'' just filling out the anthills with a queen, since right now it's kinda empty without a queen in the anthills, but not in the termite den. They could also be different tiers, red ant queen tier 1, black ant queen tier 2, fire ant queen tier 3, and they all could have different abilities like the red ant queen is standard, summoning red ant workers, the black ant queen could call in black ant soldiers, and the fire ant queen could be the most agressive sending both fire ant workers and soldiers whilst shooting acid herself, making all three queens unique and different to encounter, and since they are all tiers, they give respective tier loot, perhaps different kind of bodyparts from each queen, maybe all could be needed to kill for one armor/item/weaponset or item, but the drawback from killing them would be that all ants who dies will not respawn until the ant queen respawns, giving the player a different experience in the backyard, or that you need to kill all three ant queens for all ants to not respawn, like a map changing event but only a temporary one. Also she would only move in her respecitve area functioning like the black widow, But she could also only be accessible by killing a lot of soldiers guarding her den which could have a lot of ant eggs as an extra reward and challenge.
Just my ideas.
I really think the ant queen, or any variation (fire, black, or red) should function similarly to the termite king. It would help to flesh out the hills more, and the inclusion of it could also be used to increase egg spawns. I mean the fire ant and black ant eggs are often never seen during a play through. Upon defeating them they could maybe provide a single drop similar to the termite carapace, and it could be used for a single armor piece or single weapon for each queen.
Yeah maybe black and red ant queen would have individual armour sets to go with termite king chest plate, while fire ant queen has full set. Maybe make red and black non-stationary like termite king
For Sandbox: Mole Cricket
For Upperyard Pond: Betta Fish ( why betta fish, cause in Asian Betta fish is natural enemy of Mosquito larva and Betta fish eat water flea.
For Undershed Sinkhole: Lizard is the best choice, cause the area is Massive for summoning Lizard.
Upperyard Jungle: Weaver/Carpenter Ant Queen, is it good to add another type of ant instead of adding Red or Black Queen.
Nb: Weaver Ant Queen at Vertical Plant on the wall and Carpenter Ant Queen at the Stump.
@@mangacie the lizard, lore wise, is buried under the sand castle. You can see a blocked off entrance to its arena
Edit: the red ant queen (from the old ant hill) and sickly rolly polly’s were fed to the lizard, causing it to ‘die’ and was buried in the sand pit.
I’ve said this on a different comment and I’ll say it again, insect queens DO NOT MOVE. Once they settle down, they put on weight and sit there for the rest of their life, only purpose is to make eggs, not even to command the colony.

Possible Lore of the Ant Queens-
The Black Ant Queen was killed by Wendell while he was constructing the Ant Hill lab.
Red Ant Queen was killed by the dead teen that is found in the Ant Hill.

I think they should add ant queens as mini bosses to every ant hill and make them respawn like the termite king, and lock them each behind a specific room that needs something specific to get into it. They would get progressively harder the higher tier ant hill you go, and once you kill them all, maybe you could get an achievement/mutation, and use parts from each boss to create one singular armor set and/or weapon
Having this system would prevent the problem of too many armor sets or weapons, and making them mini bosses would mean that they don’t have to put as much effort into making bosses

FYI, insect queens are giant, bloated creatures that once they settle down, NEVER MOVE AGAIN. They become literal egg factory’s, thats all they do. (Do not search termite queen online, you won’t like it.)

@astron800 I mean, look at the wasp queen she can respawn multiple times with one meal, so why not make it possible with ant queens
don't see how it would be a good beginner boss...a beginner to the game isn't gonna immediately go straight up to the upper yard to fight the fire ants straight away
Lizard is definitely imminent. You can see the lair entrance on the backside of the sand castle. They had similar rock placements for other tunnels that were later opened upon updates

I'd love to see a centipede or millipede added, more of a boss but not one you have to summon just pretty rare and just have it roaming about, making the ground shake
Even better: Millipede train. Upgrade to the Zipline system, you can instead create a Millipede train railway.
Just add the Centipede as an enemy/boss under the shed.
I think it would be cool to see a frog boss. Also I'd like to see butterflies, grasshoppers, scorpion, roaches, and new story line or some kind of side quest would be really cool. Still super excited if the make ant queens and earwigs and a lizard. If they keep adding I will definitely keep playing
What about millipedes and centipedes?
Maybe the millipedes would be neutral or even passive, but release the poison gas the shield bug does
I think the last boss they’ll ever add is the lizard it makes sense it’s the biggest and probably the toughest
I have a thought about how you can do the lizard boss without the whole killing it drama. Make it so you can only fight it once per 24 hours in game and make it a timed fight where you have to do as much damage as possible and the more damage you do the better rewards, ( more parts, upgrade resources, rare resources such as candy pieces or twinkling shells). I've seen a lot of games do that and it's a fun addition and it make you want to do something in a boring day of grounded.
That actually sounds lika an amazing idea!
Look at breath of the wild. You can attack the dragons in the game but can never kill then. You only need to hit ‘em once and you can get a scale or a tooth or a claw. With this in mind, the lizard can be something similar if not exactly what you said. This would make it fun.
You could also have it to where after you deal a set amount of damage, it drops part of it's tail and scurries off to recover. The lizard doesn't die, but you still get resources from it? Maybe knock a few teeth out and scales off during the fight?
I know the type of lizard they've shown doesn't do that in nature, but hey, it's Grounded.

I still think we need more passive creatures like cricket with those fun quirky items to be utilized like a new pair of boots to enhance jumping... just hold jump to jump higher, and if in motion, hold to jump longer distance

I would love to see some like Tier II Aphid shoes of some sort and I like the idea of your cricket jumping boots. Grasshoppers would be a cool addition as well! I thin the Cricket boots would be great if they just increase your overall jump by like 50%-100% higher/further and it decreases the stamina drain of jumping by like 20% and the SLEEK upgrade could be a double jump.
- Cricket for Lower Yard and Grasshopper for Upper yard: Increased Jump Distance with Cricket, increased Jump Height with Grasshopper. Jump height might break some of the areas, such as with the Stump Lab, you could just skip the whole jumping puzzle to get the Burgl chip. But then again, I personally would just see that as a reward for clever thinking.
-Snail: Creature found along the walls and near water, primarily around/in the pond. Make a place able shelter that you can interact with to get inside of. Where like if you are being chased by a wolf spider, then you can get inside to heal while the wolf spider attacks the shell instead. And you can make a shell horn that your friends could hear from across the map. Maybe even add instruments to the game that give certain buffs/debuffs like a spider web guitar.
Honestly I don’t mind either of these bosses, I just like seeing new content. Although I would like to see a boss in the sandbox so I’m leaning more towards the lizard.
Would the Lizard boss be under that rear inner wall area of the sandbox, where there is a boulder blocking a tunnel? At least if I remember, it was kind of in the back left corner from where you enter the castle walls.
if the Lizard was added, it would likely have its boss arena there
same for how the Ant Queen would be found in the Fire Ant hill
I feel like the lizard would be the hardest because your fighting something about 23 times bigger then you and it would easily swallow the inf brm and maybe it would jump on the ground and either earwigs or antlions would fall into the arena (this was made before all the liziard knowledge was shared)
all of the bosses are bigger than you, and the lizards model is actually about the same size as the other bosses
I think they should put a skeleton in the fire ant queens spawn area with an ominant book explaining that the other queens were stomped on by wendels children
more likely only the red ant queen was...the black ant queen was obviously killed by wendell when building the black ant lab
I think the Ant Queens would be cool for Mini Bosses. Make it so that in order to make the Weapon and Armor set, you need to kill all the Queens. Maybe they also add a Mutation so that if you kill the Queen, you get like the Royal Court mutation that makes Ants passive to you. You unlock the next tier by killing the next queen.
They are passive when you have their armor on.
I actually hope we get neither, a lizard seems out of place compared to the other bosses/enemies since it's not a bug and the ant queen would just be a mess because of different types.
I'd love to see a scorpion boss instead in the sandbox, just as unique as the lizard and fits the bug theme.
As well as a different type of activated thing like when you stop the haze or the wasp nest. Have the player do something that attracts a new and powerful enemy (my pick is a huntsman spider) that acts as a 'blood moon' type of thing that roams the yard randomly each night (with a 7 day cooldown on world start/kill)
I like the idea, but I dont think we need another spider (we already have 9). I could see it being a centipede, as it would be new and extremely terrifying.

Mabye each ant queen boss can have a charm that gives us a effect and similarly to the elf charm pieces we can fuse all 3 to make 1 super strong charm with a powerful effect

Name - (charm of obliteration)
Ability 1 - ( bad ) lower defence by 33%
Ability 2 - ( good ) increase attack by 50 points
Black ant queen charm
Name -(call of the shadow ants)
Ability 1 (bad) lower attack by 30% and defence by 10%
Ability 2 (good) good chance to summon 2 strong ants when parrying
Fire ant queen charm
Name - (charm of the great flame)
Ability 1 (bad) increase aggression by 20% and lower defence by 10%
Ability 2 (good) chance to release a barrage of acid splashes 1-5 doing 20%- of your last hits damage
Now for the fusion
Name- Queens wrath
Ability 1 (good) 50% chance to summon a red soldier ant upon taking damage 20%- chance to summon a black soldier ant upon taking damage 5%- chance to summon a fire ant soldier upon taking damage
Ability 2 (good) chance to permanently increase a stat by 1% (apart from defence) after a summon dies untill combat ends (can also lower the summon time)
Ability 3 (ok) all summons (apart from ants) have a 3x higher spawnrate but have 50% less health and do 30% less damage
Ability 4 (horrible) lowers a random stat by 10% every time you get hit for 1 minute (5% untill combat ends) 15% in total)
Add alterations you'd make in the comments in stats or names!
Okay so here’s a bad idea.
For the attacks of both here’s some ideas that could make or break the fight
Lizard:
The lizard good have a move where is pounds the ground causing stuff to fall from the ceiling, or it could also have a move where it uses it’s tail to attack. Not to mention it could also launch some projectile like the stuff Wendell accidentally had it swallow (as mentioned in the notes on how it got in the sandbox pit). Or having the huge beast roll around or charge at you for one or it’s attacks. Even having it a tongue be an attack could work in someway. I want to know the story of this very badly and see if Wendell has any reactions or special dialogue to it. Same to the ant queen. Which reminds me:
Ant queen:
For her, very simple boss fight mechanicals being calling in drones for back up, launching fire ant projectiles (burning goo) when provokes. But some not so special mechanics could be….having it May eggs and then either blowing up or hatching into more drones…having it use a sonic screech attack like the mantis or broodmother.
Or finally: having it change the cave environment while fighting, like having parts of the arena collapse in on themselves.
Maybe for each ant queen boss it gives you a piece of a armor set like a fire ant queen chest plate, black ant queen helmet, and a red ant queen leg plates and maybe for the weapon it’s a septor that’s takes fire, black, and red ant soldier mandibles to summon soldiers to fight with you

I think maybe a bed bug boss would be awesome if they make the house explorable (which I would also love) or some sort of household bug. Maybe an earwig, cockroach or some sort of parasite?
If they ever add the house, they should add headlice. They're basically a Larva and Mite combined.
Cockroach invasion every 30ingame days.
Would make a nice addition.
Quest: Prevent the roaches from infesting the house reward 5000raw science

If the lizard boss does get into the game they might be strong and hard to beat considering the fact thst lizards ( in real life) can eat bugs like moths ants and others and some lizards have armor like skin so other bosses like the wasp queen ladybug ( maybe mant) and other spider bosses will might lose to a lizard in a fight
I Think the Lizard I'm the excited for because it's the first animal we actually get to fight and is kinda fresh from all the bugs plus the gear of it looks cool but yea imp I think they just say that they won't add stuff in because I think it's to keep his off their backs so they can add in more stuff like surprises like the infected broodmother plus why make stuff look finished and clean then say it's not coming bc of 1 thing? They can get someone to do it for them because they got some help from other companies in the past. That's just what I think
My Fanmade Lizard Attacks:
Tail whip: 25 Percent chance to knock a weapon out of your hand. Knocks You Back.
Slam (with hand): A Powerful Attack From the Lizard. Its Sharp Claws Could Make You Bleed.
Jump: Does The Least amount of Damage, Lowers Your attack By 25% If Not Parried.
Chomp: The Strongest Attack from the Lizard. If Not Blocked Or Parried You Are Practically dead Meat.
Roar: Disrupts Your Hearing And Can Not Predict The Lizards Attacks. You Cant Parry Well.
Boss Item: Tail mix
Boss item Description: Some Type Of Clump Of Food That Seems Like Trail Mix. Lizards Seem To Like This Stuff.
Ingredients: 5x Fire Ant Mandibles 10x Boiling Glands 1x Wasp Queen Head. And I Cant Figure out the Rest.
So, i want a trap door sider in the sand box, were there would be a cutscene and send you into an arena underground. Queen ant abit boring, lizard wont happen 2 big. But i really want a trap door as they live in the sand.
I don’t know if anyone else saw but in the inventory of the person fighting the lizard was the ant queen weapon
OK i think they SHOULD add a frog boss because tadpoles are in the game and what do they evole into. thats correct a frog but if you think of a size of a normal frog they are pretty big so i think they should do like a small frog or a baby or sum like that and it gives like new underwater armour and make the pond even bigger and better and make it able to kill the koi fish because that would be amazing. OR be able to kill the koi fishes children then get the koi fish angry at you just like how the wasps are and it unlocks a cave where the koi fish boss lays and its a pocket of air and the koi fish is in a pool of water and you have to go down to fight it. THATS what i think they should add
If I had to guess, I believe the ant queen will have the different fights and I have a pretty valid reason I think, so there was a leaker not to long ago who made a video on “Veteran soldier ants” and they were fully or almost fully functional and they weren’t in the game until not too long ago, a bit after infected broodmother, and instead of there just being veteran fire ant only, there was veteran ants for each variant, so if I had to guess, veteran ants will either be in some way or another either be in the summoning recipe, or be summoned towards the end of the fight or maybe one for every summoned hoard
Veteran soldier ants have been in the files since grounded released into early access.
The lore for the fire/red ant queen could be it was ordinary size but got sized up due to dr.wendell´s machine and the other 2 queens could be as big as the termite king and be mob bosses and could drop materials for their ant weapon and of-corce they would be in separate positions of the game based on when you can access them or difficulty
It would be cool if they have 3 ant queens but the red and black ones are already dead and you just see it’s body. Similarly to the orb weaver near the Java matic wasp nest. Then as you play through the game you see this huge boss but it’s dead and it makes you wonder until you meet the fire ant queen. That would be cool build up to spice up the ant hills
Feel like a fire ant queen would be cool. But I also think they should add a new spider between the wolf spider and the black widow. Maybe a trap door spider?
As much as I’d like the ant queen since well they make sense since they always have a queen, but I feel like the lizard would be more unique. But logic wise the ant queen is needed do to how ants are in real life but I’d think more than just the fire ants should get one.
Pretty sure the main reason they cut the Lizard in general was because of rating. Basically, if any animal dies in your game, your rating goes up. Because then they are dealing with blood and what not. The rules are more loose with bugs. Thats why, no matter how hard you try, you cant hurt the Crow. They were probably walking on thin ice when they added in Tadpoles.
@@Gamer_G33k think it was more time restraints on designing an arena and the programming of the lizard to make the deadline cause they don’t necessarily need to have it bleed to have it beatable in the game. And I think the crow was un fightable do to the fact I’m pretty sure it’d be hard to design a fight around something that big that can just fly away, sides birds shed feathers all the time so it’s understandable they would just go with that instead of fighting a bird that would be able to eat us in one move. But that’s just my opinion on that.

Back to the ant queens I feel like red ant could give you more eggs that make better bombs, black ant queen could do the same or they just give you a lot of eggs to make meals and give you a better set of thorn armor and the fire ant queen could give you a better armor set or weapons or a new tier 4 hammer tier that make fire ants not wanna fight you on the spot
Maybe make the red and black ant queen bosses like black widow that just spawn in twice the health like the soldiers, make a special weapon for them that has an extra power and that would be ok, or so I think.
The problem for the red ant queen location: ther is a second but smaller red ant hill near the oak tree where it could fit
what they could do to the ant queen is that they add all 3, but you need chunks from the 3 to get the armour, and fire for the weapon. red ant for leggings, black ant for chesplate, fire ant for head.
I think if they added a red ant queen it would be added to the old ant hill by the tree. they could create a new passage to lead there like they did when they added the infected broodmother. then the other spots you mentioned for ant queens would make sense.
Just a theory, but seeing as the summoning recipe for the Lizard contains Ant Eggs....could we possibly see a Queen Ant being added to each Anthill and each Queen will drop a different Egg that you need for the recipe? 🤔
Oh yeah, like having to collect the Royal Eggs. And make them hatch into Fledgling Queens (Basically a reskinned Soldier) if you dont make the food in time, so you have to fight the three queens in quick succession before you can fight the Lizard.
It would also make more sense from where the anteggs appear from
red ant queen would be a crazy and nice early game boss. a tier one boss would introduce new players to the challenges of the game and fighting stronger bugs.
Put the abonomination as a miniboss in the loweryard that drops some of the rarer parts like boiling glands. Takes only damage from tier1 weapons weak against chopping, busting, slashing
One of schmecter experiments that went wrong he released it in the yard because wendell became a threat of exposing his plans unfortunatly the abonomination trapped itself in a hole that you can only acces from the larva cave. By using a splatburst you can enter the tunnel to the abonomination mini boss
It's about time we get an ant queen. Seeing all those eggs respawn but no queen around always made me wonder why they included ant hills at all.

they should tiger beetle as an aggresive predator that drop down from the tops of grass and there nasty bite does bleed damage and its the fastest bug in the game having a decent health pool and upon death drop tiger beetle shell fragment teir 2 and tiger beetle mandibles teir 2 as well which can be made into shears to kill grubs larva mites spiderlings aphids and weevils instantly and do massive bleed damage to bigger tanks btw its a chopping weapon

We could have the fire ant queen which spits out loads of acid, a black ant queen which is just like a normal ant queen and maybe a teir 2 red ant queen which you would maybe kill earlyer than the rest of the bosses in the game
I doubt I'll get it... but I want Centipedes! But here would be twist... you can only fight it at night forcing you to either forego a shield for a torch or good armor for the firefly helmet. And I would put it's location at the Stump. There could be males and a female protecting it's eggs.
But beyond that I would also like Frogs. I mean, we have Tadpoles already. Where the frogs?
Also, with all the rotted food especially in the trash pile, I feel like we should have maggots.
Also, the Orchid Mantis in real life is from Southeast Asia. I think someone said the location of the story is somewhere in the Northeast U.S. That said, it would seem like the Orchid Mantis is likely an escaped pet or lab insect of some sort. Meanwhile we should get the traditional green Mantis variety.

I think the developers must have gotten offended when so many players said the Black Widow was much harder than the regular Brood Mother. Hence, we got the Infected Brood Mother to one up the Black Widow.

They need to add the 3 infected ants,because ants get cordeceps more then any other bug amd since the red and black ant hills are close to the haze it would make sense, they could act similar to a fire ant spitting a mildly explosive acid attack
Lizard would be a cool opportunity to add a Medieval knight style armor set or scale mail.
I think that since they said that there would be blood and scaling issues with the lizard like they said, I think it would be better if they add a scorpion. What do you guys think?

Does anyone else think the leaked stuff would be obvious choices but it's because it's as obvious as it is they won't really be the new in game boss? I mean the antlions they're using are literally just not fully grown dragonflies. So who's to say a new boss wouldn't be a Dragonfly capable of summoning ant lions? I mean the Broodmother summons spiderlings and orb weaver jr and the Queen Bee summons other bees.
They are not going to add any ant queens because the grounded devs found that killing the queen kills the colony.
Looked it up, it is actually true, but maybe they could be replaced by another similar bug that drop red ant parts.
I would want there to be a special tier 4 level weapon/armour for these bosses/other armour reworked into it all.
I think we should have the queen ant, closer to the end of the game they feel like more of a neucence. Another idea I have for a boss is the dragon fly

They should add the Ant Queen Boss for every color IMO ... I dont mind the same kind of boss in a different layer + ants need a queen
i don't think the ant queen recipe will have quartz shards since they're are limited around the map and since it will be a summonable boss you want the resources to be infinite and quartz isn't so it won't work.

I think it would be kewl if the summoning item for the Lizard is too summon a black widow which then gets eaten by the lizard.
Would be cool to have a boss that roams the upper yard and can come down to the lower yard after you blow up the upper yard ascent
also maybe a actual bard class that is able to summon bigger mobs to fight like ants, maybe as a mutation you get after beating all ant queens
or maybe summon worker ants that you can command to gather basic resourses
I’ve always thought about having each queen having one piece of armor you craft from its specific variant and then all 3 of them together are a full set
If they just added the fire ant queen I think the lore of not having the others is that Wendell Tully killed them and the fire ant queen was too hard to beat so that's why it's not dead
I once saw a clip were there were some hunstman spider dialogues in the game files from the characters, I would LOVE to see a huntsman boss, but i dont know how are they gonna balance that beacuse it is one of the biggest spiders in the world but still, i just hope the developers keep updating the game, beacuse it really is a great game, it has his down sides but its just so much fun, hope they add more like story parts, evven like a part 2 of the story, against doctor shmector tiny fied or something like that, i love so much this game

it would be interesting to have to fight a red ant queen to get and eggs for bombs, like a one time fight that opens a hole to some red ant egg spawns. would definitely make the game more interesting early on

i think they could just add all three queen ants and instead of just making equipment for every single one of them just make a “ant queen armor/weapons” and to make it u need to kill all three of them

I'd like queen ants, not only fire ant but also red and black ant queens that aren't proper bosses with a summoning item and what not, but like the termite king, a tougher creature at the end of the anthill, making their exploration that much more worth it; with some sort of unique queen ant part that unlocks some new items, maybe an item with every queen ant part that makes the player the queen ant and makes those pesky fire ants that join in on fights when you're fighting a black ox or widow, but this time join in as in attacking ur enemy as opposed to u😂
I know it’s very unlikely if not impossible but I’d like to see a giant beetle boss like a Hercules beetle or the like. I think it would be cool if it would give another one handed club because the only other one is the salt morning star. It would also be cool if it gave a big shield like a tower shield maybe with a sort of thorns mechanic on blocks. It would also be cool if it also gave a heavy armor set akin to the rolly Polly armor but obviously with new perks. Even though it’s probably not gonna happen that’s just what I think would be a cool and unique addition.

My idea for the fire ant queen would be that it would summon 1 fire worker every second and at half health start spawning soldiers it would spit stronger acid then a normal ant and also a buff to fire ants: fire ants now have a sting attack it would do massive damage and give you max sizzle
It seems a lot more likely that the eggs for the lizard would be black ant eggs or red ant eggs since those are much closer and the black ants are already in the sand box. It would be odd to make you go across the yard to get the fire ant eggs especially since fire ant eggs don't currently spawn anywhere on the map you have to steal them. the black ant eggs are easier to steal and you can **allegedly** collect spawned black ant eggs in the ant hill. (I've never seen them in my world and I've farmed for them several times, killing the entire hill multiple times.)
I think the Fire Ant Queen would be the only Ant queen and I think she would be like the "Brood Mother" in the sense, that she's "THE QUEEN" of all Spiders in Grounded. So Fire Ant Queen is the queen of all Ants in the backyard. Any other Ant Queen would be a challenge to her rule and she'd kill them. It'd be better to change her name and not call her "Fire Ant Queen". Something like Ant Queen.
I wish they would buff the Termite King as well and add full set of armor for the Termite and a Termite weapon!

I think having the Red and Black ant Queens as Mini Bosses needed to fight the Fire Ant Queen would be even cooler, like it could be you angered the Fire Ant Queen by bringing the pheromones' of other Queens. Make the Fire Ant Queen the ultimate boss.
I'm not sure, since Black Ant eggs are nearly non-existent. If they maybe make them easier to find then sure.

Since their the most common bug to get a fungus infection.
Also, I'd love to see some weird Infected Black Widow that looks like it comes straight out of The Last Of Us, they could get really creative with the design.
(also they can’t add an Ant Queen since if a Queen dies, the entire colony will die, But they can maybe replace it with another type of bug that drops their parts, like the Infected ones I was talking about)
they should add all the queens but make it so each queen makes one piece of a armor set. Red ant queen makes leggings, black ant queen chest armor and fire ant queen crown. but i think they each should have there own solo sets too and each have a weapon. they can do a lot but whatever they needs to happen together in this update. a ant update would be cool as shit and if they add the "redstone" or tech that was leaks around the koi pond update with the phenomones all in one update.

I want ant queen. I know people want a new boss entirely like the wasp queen but we have alot of ant hills (red, black, fire) but no actual ant boss or ant queen. I think it would be cool and add more to the ant hills whether its more gear or egg spawns or involving taming a baby ant idk just something we also saw ant pheromone atone point. If they have time and resources they could make a ant boss for each hill. That way theres a beginner boss at red ant hill and so on
I know some people are like it would be no diff from the termite boss but lets be honest that wasnt a boss at best its an elite npc. Either way id personally like ant boss more than a lizard. I just find it silly we have so many ant hills with no ant boss
Doesnt even need to be a "Boss." We could have a unique fight where you fend off waves of worker ants, and once you reach wave 5 (for example) Soldier ants start joining, and by wave 9 its exclusively soldier ants. Then finally, for wave 10, the Ant Queen spawns alongside some soldier ants.
Would add some more unique flavor to a fight without just having a single enemy with a large health bar. The Queens dont even need to have a lot of health, maybe just slightly more than a Soldier.

Not sure how they would put a lizard in. Even the smallest lizard is so much bigger than any of the bugs in the game. It would be massive. I think ant queen(s) would be more likely.
A scorpion. It might of been Dr Wendils pet. It might travil to different parts of the yard it could be like the termite king and that you dont need to get a boss idem.

I want a passive hunt boss. Instead of an arena fight, you find and fight it in certain areas, and instead of phases, after a certain damage it runs to a random point in the yard. repeat 4 or 5 times, hunting it around the yard
that would be extremely cancer and tedious
what if instead of a lizard it would be a type of chameleon. The thing you would put it on would be its mouth and it will snap its mouth down, un-camouflage crawl up the wall and around to the actual battle. and then actual moves, and its health bar is huge bigger than infected broodmother all 3 stages since its a lizard after all, you cant step on a lizard like you can a spider. and one of its moves will be a camouflage then a jump and dealing slow, bleed, attack speed low, health recovery lowered (permanent), attack damage lowered by 15% (stacks) for 30 seconds move can be parried. and a tounge stick move that acts like a orb weaver web but it brings you toward it it stops you from moving for 5 seconds dealing 5% of your health causing slowness 10 seconds, attack speed reduced by 50% due to sticking slime from tounge. and then the basic moves would be bites, lunges, and one more i just thought about, a tail swipe, and tail launch. the tail swipe is when the chameleons tail grows spikes, it jumps to the middle of the arena (jump dealing damage but not the same as the the jump attack from before, but similar) and then it swings its tail 5 times around. It can be avoided by jumping but some spikes down the tail will be to large so you have to move down and up the tail to avoid the larger spikes. getting hit by a spike deals 20 percent of health causing bleed for 10 seconds, attack speed reduced by 50%, movement speed reduced by 50%. And the Tail launch which would be the same spikes dealing the same ammount of damage and the tail swipe, it jumps on the arena wall making it only damagable with a long range or explosive, and launches its spikes into the air. The moves would be spread out between stages, from regular slashes, bites, and lunges, to the super lunge, to spikes (damage is times by 1.5 each stage). i just created easily the hardest boss in the game in a comment section XD

I think they need to add story driven bosses and progression to the upper yard
In my opinion if they added an ant queen they should add another ant type for it to make sense as to why the others don't have one. If they did add another ant type they should add the Crazy Ant. It would be as big as the red ants but as fast as spiderlings and have as much health or a little more than the fire ants. The crazy ant set would have a full set ability called Charge (or something like that) where as you move the armour builds up static and when at a certain point when you hit something it would release all that energy. And the summon for the queen could be some termite pieces a few wasp pieces and a few Broodmother chunks as those type of ants do tend to pick on those bugs for food. Then all the pictures you showed for the Ant Queen boss would make sense. And if they need a place to be that would be the perfect excuse to add in the inside of the shed and the black ants on the outside of the shed could be replaced for the crazy ants.
I’ve been telling my friends the grounded devs should add a grasshopper that lets you glide around the yard in spurts of the grasshopper jumping 🎉
And if they did it right, they could make some very diverse in species. I know we have three different types of ants, but those honeypot ants I think would be pretty interesting for a water source in deep under ground cave exploration just an idea.
