I think the one time bosses should have a guaranteed drop. Bit harsh to give a 25% drop on a boss you can only kill once.. but that's my view
you could always reload the save if you’re afraid you won’t get it.
@@somerandomguy-yq1ew i only play multi with friends. so be a bit awkward asking them to rejoin if i have to keep restarting cause i didn't get a drop. Personally just don't think it's a good system.

The fact you have to go to ng+4 is just insane. The original playthrough has taken me over 300 hours (just to get 100%, don't know why it won't give it to me since I've done EVERYTHING).
The fact they want you to play this 4 times is just too much without burning yourself out.

A run through new game plus is much quicker, you just do the labs/bosses and get/upgrade gear.

I got 100% with this current update right after patching. You need all ant queen recipes except infected black and fire ant. Don't forget the new scab location and note inside the remixer room. I can send a screen shot whenever
Nah I agree I had fun with the game not rushing through it like all these weirdos in the comments. Like playing the game 4 times just to get a cool weapon is insane. Not cool

i somehow guessed right that tier 4 is going to be infused weapons but i expected only infused boss weapons

I was definitely looking forward to the tier 4 stuff more than anything else in this update, but after just now learning that I can't get them until ng+ ×4? I will literally never be able to get there. I could understand if they were locked to new game +, but all they've done is make it impossible for me to ever use them without cheats or mods, which isn't how I want to play, nor would I know how anyway. So, neat.
Change the settings to bugs ignore player and blow through the first three games. Put it back to normal on ng+5.

If I wanted to replay a game over and over again just to get stronger versions of the same weapons i would play borderlands.

Finished my first game two weeks ago. On easy. Which was good for me.
Never fought the Wasp Queen or the Mantis.
After seeing this, I am gonna uninstall the game. Don't see a point in ng+. Gonna replay it at some point in the future probably. On easy or custom.

you can make a pet house and deposit a pet there, thats not related to difficulty

Any advice on how viable the staves are in ng+ onwards? I know there's the fire ant queen staff now, but not sure if I should switch build plans for ng+
I love the new infused weapons idea. Ive still yet to enter NG+ 😂 but the thought of each weapon/trinket having random effects makes me excited for the difficult fights along the way
I really hope that this update gets a rework, because beating the game thrice, having to do the javamatic defense (with infused black ox beatles and rolly pollys) and having to beat an infused broodmother with more health than all phases of the infected broodmother, just so that you can get a weapon with a shader (that's a reskin if the water shader) seams a bit like fuller content (especially because NG+ through NG+++ are the same except for tweaked stats.

If all tier 4 weapons deal the same damage would it be better to get a lower version say the pebble weapons rather than a later game one so it’s easier to repair or do they require new materials to repair?
I love the fact that you can dupe and have a different role! Grinding would take so long if all you could do is kill for rerolls

Thanks for the videos. I'm playing through this game a few hours at a time with a friend in Germany. It's super creative and we both really like it, but we are super early in the game and not really pushing through the story missions. An issue I'm having is all the new guides and information are for the latest end game things in the 1.4 update. The starter guides are from so long ago, and a lot of the advice isn't applicable because things have changed so much. Any chance of a revamped beginners guide?

To be honest I wish that instead of new game plus you could talk to Wendal and choose a difficulty level that can also be changed back. Also I think for how hard and how long it takes to get these infused weapons you should also get mighty lvl 6 perk with the random perk.

Tbf for the queen bee, u have to kill her to get into the next ng+ so ull get the bows whether u want them or not
Did you test if the scythe gets the perk enhancement? Since it has a different name and item code, seems like it might not benefit from the attack speed enhancement, but I'm not far enough to test for myself yet (did just start NG+1 though!)

I am so disapointed… So Tiers 4 stuff is only for New Game ++++ AND it’s just reskined weapons ?! (With more damage obviously and random buff), wtf…

Heads up for anyone....kill the bosses multiple times during your first play through or second...that way you can just go kill the bosses after starting a new game plus and you don't have to collect the ingredients in a harder world
they need to add infused armor or lower the scaling cause it is literally impossible on medium difficulty to play or even think about beating bosses past ng+4
the scaling of this update sucks and they didn't test anything out, I'm severely disappointed also I'm almost certain apex predator doesn't work with infused boss weapons.
the infused wasp queen bow didn't spawn ads for me and the COTMD didn't spawn spiderlings
People who says NG plus 4 is not a lot to get this. Not everyone has all the time in the world to do this which is annoying
i had larva attack my base yesterday and one of them was invincible..no matter how many times i hit it it would not do any damage..i had to reload my game to get it to go away and redo the raid..ive never had that happen before

same, I had an invincible tiger mosquito attack my base too, after like 10 mins or It got completed and he just left, but still, was very strange, kept aggro so he didn't damage my base or anything n just kept blocking him, so aside from wasting time wasn't too bad, just really weird, and something I definitely don't want to happen again, wondering were you playing solo on a solo world? solo on a shared world? or with people? wondering if that's related to the bug as I was solo on shared world
@@louisthelegend3530 solo on my solo world... Just a regular game nothing out of the ordinary..i guess i could have waited it out but i thought if i couldn't kill it then the raid wouldn't end..
Yep, happened to me. I just kept fighting him and eventually the Raid ended. it's on the known bug list so should get addressed.
I reverted my save back to before I remixed the yard. It was fun at first but then I realized I’m not missing out on much. They need to add a crafting station they can call the fuse station. This station will allow you to break cones and waffles into crinkles and combine waffles and crinkles into cones. It should also be allowed to fuse crinkles onto the infused boss weapons replacing the effect they already have on them. I’m not gonna kill, dupe, or save scum a 0.027522935779817% chance for the cone I want. This station can be earned in a later NG+ and possibly cost some boss infused ooze to fuse crinkles and waffles. I honestly don’t think I want to touch NG+ until something like this is added and Whoa mode actually be fair. If they add a way for me to customize my trinket build then I will gladly grind to the specified NG+ to get it. But until then I’m not touching NG+. I really enjoyed grounded for its strategy and builds but relying on RNG so I can customize my build further is annoying.
Loading saves is your best friend here.

NG+ 4 is beyond ridiculous. Meanwhile, I still can't beat Wasp Queen in base game on Whoa. Clearly I will never see these unless I drop the difficulty down...like all the way to Mild probably.
The Wasp on Whoa is pure Cancer, its not you. She has no Cooldown on summoning Drones, so she heals more than you can damage her
@@fuchsmichael93 Agreed, that seems to be the biggest problem and, of course, the drone stays out of melee range. I'm not out of ideas yet but I am getting closer to that point. After all, I never thought I'd be able to handle the Mantis solo and I managed to beat him finally (Crossbow, not sure it's possible to melee Mantis in Whoa).

So every 5 infused kills is a mantis scythe reroll
After I saw that tier 4 weapons, besides only being obtained in the new game +4, are just reskins of other weapons, I don't think they are worth the effort
cant wait to get these wheni m 80. jokes aside i dont really mind it gives the game tons of replayabilty.

Just duplicate then reload till last save then do it again until you get the effect u want

I mean that's NOT cheating, lol. You just played the developers game against them given they made it impossible to fight an infused boss as they can one hit kill you in ways that make no sense (like hugging a tree and the mantis swipes you through it)

@@TG101Replit there's always complaining when updates come out. sometimes its reasonable, but now its just people straight up quitting the game because of the mere idea of newgame+. lot of people complained about IB's difficulty but you don't really see that anymore
@nightcatnightstalker as someone who hasn't (until this comment) complained but definitely on their side let me just say this. I've never beat the game and am really close rn, but I just don't have the time after ng+ to ever reach ng+4, it's frustrating to know how much content you'll never get because they just keep moving the goal post, if they gave everything in ng+ then most people interested would be able to experience it, but I remember someone looked at it only like 1% of the players have the achievement for beating the game. (Though I'm sure some people just didn't do it though were there or cheated some how and reached it) so not only is all the content for a tiny part of the player base but also Further past that to lengths making it a fraction of a fraction.
Also has lots of new bugs....
So basically everything is cool but because the new game+ is so incredibly unbalanced nothing is really worth

One thing I just don't understand after like 120+ hours of playing since before the game was even finished its story is these bosses. They are just so imbalanced. Having maxed out NG+ health, maxed armor, the best perks, mutations and weapons AND being able to parry quite well the bosses just so so much damage. Getting one shot with a completely maxed build is harder than any Souls game I've ever played. And I play on Mild a huge amount of the time. On Medium its unbelievable. Every boss one shots you, summons adds, debuffs and buffs you and in the Infected Broodmother's case has 3 fucking phases and nearly impossible to survive attacks. Bosses are supposed to be a challenge using everything you've learned put to the test, not a wall of health that one shot you from full health even with damage resistances and the best possible gear and builds.
It’s best to do this in a normal playthrough more of an achievement took me a week of maybe 6 hours each day to get new game plus 1 not bad and once there everything is easier to achieve u need dedication and determination don’t cheat folks ur taking the fun outta the game

Grinding is fun when its reasonable im no gonna spend literal weeks of my time just to get reskinned weapons we already have. Make it ng2 and thats reasonable you gotta beat the game, you gotta beat the game but harder and then you get access to the fun stuff

There’s a point, it’s just that the infused bosses are absolutely high on crack and are basically rng based if they get a staff attack.
I think they were specifically talking about NG+4, they didn't say the bosses were impossible in the first NG+.
I killed the mant and literally got the pebblet hammer, black ox hammer and antlion sword alm at once....

They do spawn but in random places.
Homie that's a personal problem cuz they hella easy to find!! Most are just lying on the ground in NG+ barely hidden.
All the more reason to find them in base first, less hassle than looking in NG+

Yeah it's a tough balance to find tbh, 2 buffs takes TONNES of reloading to get good buffs
Almost impossible to get what you want. No way I'm gonna sit and grind all weapons and hope they get good effects, when I can't when get one good I want. And I've been trying for days. I guess I'm gonna stay with the acid edge, it's a better choice if you don't want to be exhausted of the game

NG+4 is when you get tier 4 weapons
infused weapons are not considered boss weapons. Apex doesnt work on them. its not "infused scythe of blossom" its "infused axe" with random cosmetic skin.
I don’t exactly know if apex predator doesn’t work on them, but I do know it DOES in fact say “Infused Scythe”, you can see in the video itself as well. The stats are different for it as well compared to the other axes
But it works with the infused blaster apparently. Just not the club or scythe. I understand they aren’t boss weapons but they also all technically are as they drop from bosses

Can someone confirm that Milk Molars in NG +1 only enough to maxed out 2 attribute ? I looked for hours and nothing !!
I'm now on NG+4, kn all NGs, I found enough molars to max out EVERY attribute.

@@ahmadalbishe8994As long as you max out HP and healing, you should be OK. Stamina only makes it a bit easier, and hunger and thirst drain do nothing to the difficulty.

He used "Swap To Custom Game" in Game Settings (Creature Health Scaling turned to 0). Makes all creatures a one-shot kill. He still had to play through the NG+ levels.

@@vamadgaming6424 If I can one-shot every creature, the JavaMatic may not even need defenses (If I'm quick enough). I won't find out though, I don't play custom. I want all the achievements more than NG+4 copy/paste weapons.

Sadly, you can't make them. You buy them in the shop for 50k raw science in new game plus 2 they cost 50k per one

As is, it's too much. But 100% Gold Cards was too much also (even though I did it) and they walked that back eventually (AFTER I did it). I suspect they want to torture us for a while then they'll nerf it enough for losers like me.
