Google Says Blue Ants do exist - "The wingless, ground-dwelling female Blue Ants are bright metallic blue or green, and can sometimes be mistaken for a large ant. However they are a solitary wasp species, with fully winged males, and can often be found on flowers."
However they a solitary was species.. The bluebottle is a parasitic wasp. too dont forget that

I think the blue ants could be a mutation, when you kill the broodmother you get a mutation called mom genes which allows you to summon spiderlings mid battle. How ever the spiderlings are blue exactly like that ant which could mean that in a later update you could get a mutation that summons your own ants. That’s what I think atleast…
Edit: maybe when you kill the ant queen you would get this mutation.
Worker ant spawn? I don't hate the idea. They'd for sure be a good bit sturdier than the spiderlings. A soldier ant spawn would be even better lol

Ant queens do have wings, but it is only to leave the nest, mate, and find a new home. But they lose the wings once they find where they will start their colony. So the fire ant queen wouldn't have wings.
a Centipede roaming worldboss that could travel "anywhere" in the upper yard areas, from Moldorc to the termite area would be a super cool but super threatening encounter cause of how crazy they actually are
this is something i have always thought about. Maybe you would have to attack specific weak segments of the boss to whittle it down to be killable. I was also thinking about a harvestman spider roaming boss, they have small bodies and huge legs so something like attacking each leg individually to knock it down would be a cool idea. They would both add that unique weakpoints mechanic and I would say could make the exploration more threatening.
@craxolotl3680 I think they could replace the wolf spider in the sand box with a scorpion roaming boss.

There are actually many species of "blue ants" but most if not all are just a metallic blue that comes from the way light interects with hairs on their body, a great example of this is Polyrachis cyaniventris, a gorgeous blue species of ant. In addition, it is true Solenopsis invicta (the red imported fire ant) queens do indeed have wings like many other ant queen, they are only used to reproduce when they perform a "nuptial flight" a flight when young queens and males leave the nest, reproduce and then the queen drops to the floor and sheds her wings and then starts a colony. It is also completly plausible that the red and black ants we see in game don't have queens, as many ant nests are called "sattelite nests" where a nest is further out from the primary nest with the queen. The satelite nests are used so the colony can expand its terratory.
Anyways that is my ant nerd facts that I think should be a bit more helpful so you don't misidentify the tiny dots called ants.

Hey jade! I work in pest control! Silver fish don’t necessarily like cold areas! They like moist humid areas with about 70-85 degrees Fahrenheit. Then there are the Firebrats which are similar to silverfish but like it a little more warm like near furnaces and stuff. Thanks for the content!

I work for family in a small store.. building is like 100 years old. Basement is mostly paintings and prints etc. I see them all the time on the floors or in carboard boxes full of paper bags. always assumed they like glue or starch ? is that at all possible ? lol
I do know they are tough little things, they can definitely take a hit and keep on moving. I watched my brother-in-law tackle with one once, I thought it was pretty funny to watch it play out although I don't think he did at the time lol.

i reckon the majority of these creatures will be added, silverfish and water striders have had code for ages so why update and give them new animations if they dont have some ideas to add them
I think they should do a dlc that opens up to a part of the basement in the house or just the house in general and add all these new bugs to that area and they could even do the lizard by adding a tank that it lives in
The fact that how well the lizard and the ant queen look with their animations could mean it could be added soon
Edit: also leaks were found for the Ant Queen and she has sounds, if you go check out a person called Chillax24, thought he doesn't have many subscribers he does have some good leaks, even Jade seen the Ant Queen one and replied!

Yeah! I totally have to agree with you there Spicy. But I honestly think the silverfish’s fur is the best detail.
So the lizard is actually a toad the Horned Toad and looks pretty much like that. If they made it completely realistic it would probably be a bit more mature rated, as they squirt a foul smelling liquid that looks kind of like blood out of its tear ducts firing it pretty far I think three feet.

I don't see why that couldn't be implemented. It's not exactly a game meant for young children, in spite of the rather cutesy art style. Though my 6 year old nephew does love the game. Also, I seem to remember hearing that they were venomous as well. Admittedly, I haven't even thought about a horned toad in probably 20 years so I could certainly have that wrong.
@@joolsmacgrools1288 so I believe the secretion has some type of toxin in but it's just really foul smelling and tasting you could have an allergic reaction I believe. But the color red has always signified blood in every genre of media when gushing like that so they could still bring the rating down if they wanted to. The esrb is tainted anyways.
Did you know that earwigs can glide their backs open up with fan-like wings one flew right at me it reminded me of those parasites from extermination❤

Not sure if you've mentioned this recently. I believe you showed off the clover glider in the past. But at the time, it was a melee type item like an exe. I spawned it in and was able to equip and use it as a glider. It does now glide horizontally. Though still quite broken lol. Take a look if you haven't alreay done so.

The blue ant is probably a ally like the spiderlings there blue so they might be sticking with blue for allys now
Maybe those ants consumed some Raw Science and turned blue? Raw science does do some weird stuff to things.
idea: after a specific amount of time in your world (maybe like 200 days) the season will change from summer to winter and everything is frozen and you get new stuff like snow, ice shards to make weapons. the res ants could turn into that. not sure how you would get the other parts if you are in need though. maybe you could have some kind of event that could warm up the ground in the winter seasons like some kind of electric heater. maybe when the heater is off you could even go inside it and find new weird materials. who knows
maybe the heater could take you to the front yard
The animations for the eariwig and silverfish are the animations of the larva so i doubt it's close to being finished
I think they’ll add the lizard because they said they didn’t want to add ‘blood’, but they have the healbasas and when your character gets hit blood kinda sprays

I love grounded and I’m waiting for two things RUGS for Homebase’s as well as a tameable creature to ride! Like a snail or even the already in-game insects like ladybugs! I think having a cool little saddle for them as well as buffs for different rideable creatures would be super cool in the future
I just want a pet jumping spider that hunts down orb weavers for me. If I could throw a saddle on it, it'd be even infinitely better.

The reptile shown is a 'Horny Toad' also known as a Horned lizard. They are from western United States. They are small in size. Making them suitable for the setting. A bearded dragon would be far too large.

all ant queens start with wings for their nuptial flight. this is the time in which king and queen ants fly to find a mate and a new home. however, upon mating the males die and the queen drops her wings.
Blue ants do exist though. They called Blue Polyrhachis ants.
Ant queens only have wings before they mate. When they do mate they break off there wings and burrow and begin there egg laying

Australia has an ant called a blue ant and it tends to look like a metallic blue or green shade
If they do add the silverfish they should add the inside she’d as a place and add them in there and underneath the shed as silverfish live in wet, damp places.

The blue ant is actually an insect but it’s not an ant. It’s a large and rare type of parasitic wasp sometimes known as a bluebottle or flower wasp.

You can’t get eggs in any anthill but the redant hill so it makes sense for the queen to be a redant

All ant species have a type of ants with wings there called repletes basically virgin queens and males
I think that if they bring the lizard to the game have it be when you defeat it it passes out that way it takes care of the whole don't have to show blood and it could changed the ending a bit show the lizard with the damily photo

I would not want to fight one of them; they're poisonous as hell. However, i could see some seriously awesome and powerful gear being crafted from them. They're very sturdy creatures. I could see one playing the role of a local boss in the sandbox.

- Leafbug
- Stickbug
- Grasshopper/Leafhopper.
- Mole Cricket
- Fly
- Black Flies
- Sand Flies
- Pine Beetle.
- Flea's
- Ground Hornets
- Millipedes
- Centipedes
- Earthworm (Bursting from and burrowing back into the ground while traveling and stops randomly.)
- Horsehair Worms (moving like a snake on the surface.)
In the caves:
- Mealworm
- Earthworm (Same as on surface)
Spiders:
- Jumping spider
There are so many insects they could have done many things. I guess we need a dlc or grounded 2.

The lizard will never come to grounded sadly thr developer's confirmed it was to big and anooying to defeat and didnt have good drops
(My thoughts about it)
They could probably rework the boss instead of scraping it and make it have its own cave and boss fight area (like hbm and ibm) but with no needed summon item. This would be a one time boss like the (ast-manager) and defeating it would give you the scale key instead of gear. And using the scale key you can unlock a door thats in the lizard den.
The door unlocks a super tech chip that lets you buy the zipline ascender upgrade
When bought if you already have the basic ascender then it adds a small booster made of scales and evercoal bits.
And it makes zipline faster slightly.
And EVERYONE WANTS THIS
Maybe even make it so you can build a zipline booster control station.
You can change the speed of all zipline ascender
Make them slower or way faster
At the cost of 1 evercoal every 5 ingame day and you can put an entire stack in there so you dont need to return to it every few seconds.
If someone places a second one then it says (booster control station already activated) and then if you turn of the old one you can enable the new one
Any suggestions?
