I remember when i was 9 i went too the 1999 silverstone gp. Me and my dad were at the corner before the Micheal had his crash. I always remeber the sound of those v10s

That sounds like a mix of good and bad memories. I'm thinking that's the race he broke his leg. The sound of those engines though

I wish I was in Europe because that much to get the chance to visit the Mecca of F1? Honestly over here that would be a downright reasonable price unfortunately. I guess I’m saying it could be worse. Shit I’ve paid 2500 on just hotel and ticket fees for the Austin GP so far! Also you can be a filthy pirate and watch the race online free pretty easily if you are really hurting for cash. I have F1 tv and still do it occasionally because the app is god awful and vexes me so. Great video! Keep up the great work brother!

Right. The US prices are insane. And the best part of the Europe races is the train. From Detroit, a flight, room, and tickets, would run me and my son over $12K for garbage seating.

The quality of your videos are always on point. Great breakdown and hope you get to a race soon. One point regarding ticket choice, Silverstone GA's value for money vs grandstand is a no brainer. So many excellent vantage points and space for everyone.

Thanks for the nice words Aaron! More to follow hopefully. Yeah the m ore I thought of it, GA is the way to go. For me that freedom to roam is so valuable.

Another reason they charge so much is because they can. They always sell out and the sport is gaining tons of popularity sot the prices are just gonna keep on rising

I can relate to your thoughts regarding the cost of F1 tickets, and the potential barriers to entry for new fans. From the moment I tuned into the first practice session of the inaugural F1 Singapore Grand Prix, I already wanted to attend the race in person. Except, I could never afford the tickets.
And on the TV side of things, we only get 1 race (Singapore) on FTA TV, with no highlights for the other races. We're even set to lose our cable broadcaster (Fox Sports Asia) later this year, as they'll be shutting down. F1 TV Pro isn't available here either.
That said, I did manage to win tickets to the pitlane experience for 2018 though, and for the 2019 edition, I wound up camping by the side of the track on Saturday.

Yeah this is a massive shame that they are reducing coverage in certain areas. That is very good luck though, it must have been a great experience

@@RACINGHOUSEUK Yep! It sure was a special night for me. To see a car wheeled into the FIA garages for scrutineering, getting to see all the aero bits up close, and even getting to hold a transport tyre (courtesy of the Williams mechanics!). I didn't stay till the wee hours when there was more activity though, had to catch the last train home 😅😅

Elite sport without a shadow of doubt
It would be great if you went and came back with a review video
I hope you get a sponsor one day and do go

@@RACINGHOUSEUK I wonder how much Melbourne tickets will cost when it eventually does go ahead again. Current goal is to attend at least 1 race weekend in my lifetime. Hope Lewis gets a win, they keep showing him sat in his car after a "bad" result and I feel sad for him

I hear all of what you're saying ! I really want to go to Silverstone and maybe another circuit abroad. It might have to be a one off splurge. Hopefully you get the chance soon.

I'm surprised how good your content is with the subscriber numbers you have. Good work and I hope you will get bigger. I'll share your channel with my F1 friends.

I passed on going to the Miami GP even though I'm only 150 miles away. I'm not paying $1700 to $2500 for one race. Never will happen.

    Hey there.
Could you do a video about whether it’s possible for Grosjean to make an F1 comeback?
Or if it’s possible to have other teams in F1?

I am in Portugal and got a good F1 TV deal with 11 channel. Great coverage of the 3 days. Are they in the UK?

    • @RACINGHOUSEUK
      @RACINGHOUSEUK  3 ปีที่แล้ว

Yes they are, but it is with SKY TV. Monthly cost just to sign up and then I believe you have to pay extra for things link F1. So doesn't sound as good for us here

I got really excited about Melbourne Grand Prix this year just to look at ticket prices and go yikes, I can buy a ticket but I can’t get to Melbourne by myself I’m 16 and no one else will want to pay for a ticket as they have never even heard of Lewis Hamilton let alone seen a f1 race, and they only show highlights on channel 10 and j don’t wanna pay for a subscription just to watch f1 as I’ll probably fall asleep watching I just want to see the cars in person ugh

Well, now they're coming to a 3rd World country.. We're very happy and excited to be getting the South African Grand Prix 2023, but I wonder how many of us South Africans who love the sport will eventually be able to get the full experience.. It's going to be very tricky!!
