The Most Expensive F1 Merch

  • We all get that urge as an F1 fan, not I'm not talking about the urge to tell F1 management to listen to fans more.
What I am talking about is the urge to splash some cash on F1 merchandise or memorabilia. Or just dedicate way too much time to anything related to F1. A big part of the F1 and Liberty media revenue stream comes from selling, signed items from drivers, merchandise on their website. You have the F1 merch, team merch, experiences related to F1 and even games.
It really did get me thinking though. If I had all the money in the world to spend, what could I buy? What are the most expensive items that have been sold or currently on sale relating to F1?

I have a race used and signed rear spoiler of Vettels Helmet with which he won the 2015 Malaysia GP (1st win with Ferrari) - the heart of my F1 collection as the helmet is the drivers most personal item imp

I do have a few items from F1 authentic but tbh it's things like wheels and a lamp similar to that I've won in various competitions. Definitely an "if I won the lottery" type page. Enjoyable watch as ever 👍

I have a Cosworth piston used in Sir Jackie Stewart's Tyrrell Ford in the 1971 season it came from no 4 cylinder . I also have the no 2 piston from the late great Ronnie Peterson's 1978 Lotus in the USA west Grand Prix the car was the first ever ground effect car designed by Peter Wright, Colin Chapman, Martin Ogilvie and Tony Rudd .I have considered selling them but I have no idea what the value would be . Does anybody have an idea .
