Hi great video and thanks for the info. The only thing I would of done different is the new pump I would have connected 2hoses to a small bucket, prime it and then test it. Those pumps are not meant to run dry. Have a good day!
I have the same codes on 2008 Highlander hybrid w/264,000 miles. Got the VSC/Check Hybrid system/Brakes systems warnings all at the same time. Momentarily i felting like hot air coming in thr cabin, then suddenly my engine shutdown!! Also got the steering wheel RED warnings on still. Had to pull over,.i don't recommend anyone to drive a car like that. Ran my scanner and got the P0A05 AND P0A93 planning to replace my hybrid system water pump in the near future Thanks for the advice
I had a clip in the radiator plug broken and it plugs in but you can't see inside the wire clip unless you look with a light on the inside of the male plug female wire. If that makes any sense.
Hello. I bought yesterday a Rx400h. Both batterys are empty. I gonna buy a new battery tomorrow. Can i somehow Start the engine only with the second battery and just with gas? Is it possible to load the Main HV Battery somehow?
My Check VSC / Hybrid System lights came on today (Lexus RX 400h, 90K miles) with the traction system light just as shown in your first video of this two-part series. I hear a high pitched whine when I back out and sometimes when turning. Both started at the same time. Would a bad water pump cause a high pitch whine (it's occasional)? I realize the check VSC/Hybrid system can have any number of causes. Thanks in advance if you see this and can respond.

I've only driven it about 30 minutes or so every 10 days for the last 1.5 years. New regular battery a few months ago. A/C went out last year. Shop charged me $350 to fix (6/21) but the cold air only lasted for 15 minutes. They said they spray painted to see leak if fix didn't work. I never went back though. Completely unrelated I would guess.
I have the same problem you had and the car want run every time I remove the negative terminal from the battery and put it back again in the car start for five second and I hear the high bitch and whine from under the car and the hybrid system turned off can you please tell me what you did if you get it fixed what was the problem thanks in advance
@@amgadyousef5582 I hope yours turns out better than mine. Mine will no longer start. After I wrote the initial messages here, it never started again. It's a 2008 so I didn't have it towed to the shop and diagnosed because I know it will be many thousands to fix (like 8-12K I'm expecting). Did your car get wet? My rear car mats were soaked. Maybe from strong storms here, I don't know.

Good luck. If you are not trained to work on hybrid systems I would advice to find a hybrid tech to do the job for you

I believe using a csan tool you can activate the gas engine to charge the hybrid battery

I think that noise comes on with specific hybrid related codes. I have seen it on lexus gs450h.
